I look forward to visiting this store whenever I get a chance when I'm in the area and there are special occasions happening. I LOVE supporting people and companies with such talent and I just love the service and talent they provide. My favorite thing to purchase here are the various balloon bouquets they have! I am always amazed by how gorgeous each set turns out with all the colors and designs they have! The receiver of a balloon gift is always so happy and they feel so celebrated! Tips when buying balloon bouquets: * Make sure you have enough room in your car. I put down the seats in my car to have enough room. * Make sure your car isn't hot inside and that the balloons don't touch the outside of your car trunk when putting them inside your vehicle. They can pop from the heat. * Best part is you can choose from a wide variety of color combinations! I would be prepared with a color scheme in mind.

I'm always trying to support local, even if it means I pay a little more. In this industry…read moreespecially, I know that I could get something online for a fraction of the price I'll pay in person. But sometimes I don't know what I want, and it helps to see inventory in person. This store does carry a variety of toys, lingerie and novelty items-just what I was hoping. When I visited recently, I was greeted, but not offered assistance. The lady at the counter was having a conversation with a friend-I could tell she was fun and I'd love to talk to her, but didn't want to interrupt. When we went to the counter with our purchase, the friend left and the woman started chatting with us. She was cheerful and friendly and seemed to appreciate the business. If she had offered assistance when we got there, we likely would have bought more. There were a few items we were looking at and would have liked to understand how they worked, etc. But we didn't want to interrupt her, so bought just the one item. The shoe selection here is fabulous! There were several pair that I loved-they were relatively conservative for a store like this. I you're not looking for adult items, but want some amazing vintage style shoes, at least stop by for those!

Happy monstera plant = happy plant mum = happy home…read more I always stop by this plant shop when I visit the library, but I finally bought something--a beautiful Monstera that was on sale! I'm so glad I did! My place needed more greenery since I left all my plants behind when I moved to Utah. The staff was super kind and helpful in picking out a pot, and she even held my plant while I was at the library. She gave me a heads up before closing, so I could come back in time. For a small shop, they have a good variety--from small to large plants plus cute non-plant items, too. Metered street parking is available, or use the public library parking structure. I think the first 2 hrs are free with validation.

Wish I'd checked here before I ordered online from this company. Needed a very specific type of…read morearrangement and colors for a funeral, also wanted to support local. Funeral happened very fast and had to order after closing on a Friday for a Monday holiday delivery. The two stars are for the freshness of the flowers and getting them there on time (I don't know if they went to the funeral home on Saturday or the chapel on Monday but they were there for the viewing.) The website gives you two choices, both are florist designed so you don't really know what you're going to get. Choices are "soft and delicate" or "bright and bold." No funeral flower section but one of the reviewers mentioned them doing a good job on funeral flowers so I thought it would work out. Chose "soft and delicate" at the $150 "amaze them" price point. There was an added $9 product mark up (for what?) and $9.99 delivery and I tipped $15. (How you're supposed to tip in advance is always a mystery to me.) I wrote in my checkout notes to please contact me on Saturday. Saturday morning I had not heard from anyone and I sent an email. My bad there, should have called, but wanted to send a picture of the preferred arrangement type and colors and you can't do that over the phone. These flowers needed to somewhat match the families and absolutely had to be a standup spray. Even a standup spray of all carnations would probably have been OK if they had been soft pinks or purples. Yikes, I was so embarrassed, had someone ever called me or emailed back, but it never happened. Got the sense they just wanted the $$ and don't care about customer service. If you know flowers, I can tell you that wholesale, this was no more than $50 max to create, and that's erring high on the estimate. The colors were absolutely wrong, honestly, I would call these "bright and bold." Certainly not worth the $200 with tax that I paid for them, although I would still tip because they got them there on time. Two star rating is due to the poor communication.
