When we went to the counter with our purchase, the friend left and the woman started chatting with us. She was cheerful and friendly and seemed to appreciate the business. If she had offered assistance when we got there, we likely would have bought more. There were a few items we were looking at and would have liked to understand how they worked, etc. But we didn't want to interrupt her, so bought just the one item. The shoe selection here is fabulous! There were several pair that I loved-they were relatively conservative for a store like this. They take their time with you, and are just friendly enough to make you feel as though they know and care about you. Sure, big retailer pharmacies may appear to be cheaper, but in my experience i've never paid much more at Stone Drug than I have at a big national pharmacy.
