My daughter and I booked appointments for salon makeup and hair this past weekend (for her wedding). IT WAS TERRIBLE! We both came in before the big day for trial appointments to make sure things would go as smoothly as possible on the day of my daughter's wedding. Despite all this prep (and extra cost ... and the fact that we arrived on time), our appointments finished 45 minutes LATER THAN THE PROMISED COMPLETION TIME. If you have ever been a person in charge of wedding, you know what a nightmare being 45 minutes behind schedule is -- it had a terrible snowball effect for the rest of the day. We were late picking up flowers, arriving at the ceremony site, changing into wedding attire, meeting with the photographer for couple/family pics (which was an additional cost because I was paying the photographer by the hour). I don't know if the Ulta stylist don't allot for enough time for their appointments, or if they are being forced to overbook, or if they don't know how to do their job effieciently... However, I DO know that while I was getting prepped, someone arrived early for their appointment and the stylist actually started on her and tried to split her time between me and the other customer. All this did was make me late and the other client early for their appointment. This was just, overall, a disappointing experience. I have never paid to have my hair and makeup done...nor has my daughter. I thought doing this together would be a relaxing, bonding experience. However, all it did was make an already busy day unnecessarily stressful. My heart is sad that I will never get that day back with my daughter. The staff can't be "sorry" enough to undo the unprofessionalism that set us behind schedule and started a snowball of anxious, uptight feelings (and, by the way, NO ONE apologized...they did ask me if I wanted to leave a tip though). What should have been a happy, joyous day will never be remembered that way. I will never use the Ulta salon and/or makeup service again -- for any occassion. Walked in with my girlfriend and her brother because we were shopping for a perfume. Immediately I could see almost all of the workers staring at me and just giving dirty looks. As we were walking around, atleast one worker would be following us around. I'd look up and catch a worker looking at me. They did not even try to hide the fact that they found us, or maybe just me, suspicious. The cashier also didn't even try to hide the fact that they were annoyed at a customer. The employee shrugged, rolled eyes, sighed all in the lady's face who was being very nice to the employee. This is the first time where I truly felt stereotyped, for no reason at all. Being nice to people, especially customers, goes a long way. Especially when you don't know the lengths they're willing to go above you because you decided to judge someone for no reason. read more

After covid I finally got back on track with helping my hair. I met Kylie 2x and she cut my daughters hair exactly how she wanted! And touched up my color and cut! She is freaking amazing and so fun to connect with. Highly recommend her, we will be coming back to see her. read more

I've been here a handful of times to get my haircut. I'm that horrible customer that never makes an appointment till the last minute and they always get me in last minute to take care of me. Jessica is always fantastic and listens to me rant about stuff. Mindy is wonderful too! I came in with my daughter the other day for just a haircut for myself. Mindy stayed a little later than what she was planning to do my daughter's hair. Please ignore the 1 star review from the other customer. They were uninformed and didn't know why they were talking about. This is one of the best Ultas I have been to and I'm glad they have wonderful staff. Obviously I will return. Thanks again!! This is the last time I will visit Ulta Beauty. I went to purchase Vitamin K cream. Looked all over the store. Went to the front counter to get some help. The man and woman behind the counter were more interested in what time they worked the next day, than assisting a customer. I asked the man where the vitamin K cream was. He responded with "What does it do?" "Have you looked through our skin care lines"? I responded with "Yes, I have looked through all your skin care isles, that is why I am asking for your help." He didn't care to help, so I went looking again. This time a woman in her 40's some type of manager completely ignored me when I asked her for help. This store has the most amazing customer service! Every time I go in there they treat me like a friend. They give great makeup tips and advice whenever I can't decide between something and I love all the products Ive purchased, I like to shop here for all my make up, hair products and skin care too, so I can rack up those sweet Ulta rewards. I went to Ulta to buy mascara. I hadn't planned on stopping, but realized they were open. I normally carry my mask, but got out of the house without it that day. The sign at the entrance says "masks recommended", not masks required to shop--hooray, I needed my mascara! I was not allowed in the store, really? Change your sign. I'm done with your store, sales clerks were down right rude when I pointed out the sign said "recommended", not required. read more

A friend introduced me to Ulta Beauty shortly after they completed their store in Spanish Fork. Boy, have I been missing out! Ulta has all my favorite beauty products under one roof. It's wonderful not to have to drive to the mall to get Clinique mascara, or wait for Living Proof dry shampoo to arrive in the mail. Ulta brand makeup is surprisingly good quality for a decent price. All the associates are super helpful and friendly. Five stars for sure! read more

I shopped at the Orem Ulta for a while until i got fed up with their customer service. Trying to get a color match from their employees was a nightmare and when i finally did get one, it was the wrong color! My friend told me to try out the Spanish Fork location, she said a really nice girl helped her all morning with all sorts of tips and product recommendations. I decided to give Ulta one last go. I went in, was greeted by multiple employees. They asked me what i needed and if they could help me find anything. I went to look around at first. I know the location is newer but you can tell they keep the place really nice, clean, and organized. After finding a few things i needed I asked Molly at the counter if anyone could color match me in the It bye bye under eye concealer. She took her time sanitizing the area and making nice conversation with me. She made me feel really comfortable and took the time to explain undertones and the things that you're looking for to match the color perfectly. It felt so nice to be treated so well and i finally found my color. I told her about a few more concerns I've had with my makeup application and she recommended a hydrating primer, saying it's what she used and she's been loving it. I bought everything she recommended and when the time came to checkout she let me know i could save a big chunk with their credit card.... I was really apprehensive at first but Molly told me all about how the App works and the double points and even gave me some free gifts! I've been loving everything that was recommended to me and have seen huge improvements with my makeup using the products and tips Molly told me about. I really enjoyed my experience at Ulta, I was so pleasantly surprised to be treated so well compared to my past experiences in a different location. I've been recommending this location to all of my friends and even went back in with my daughter (and my credit card for double points ;) ) to find her some skin care. Molly was there again ready to help out. We left with some really good stuff that's cleared up my daughters skin and made her feel so much more confident. read more
