So first this place gets a bad rap and for no apparent reason. There are two ladies there and yes…read morethey don't have anyone else there to help because most of the time the rest of the family is working elsewhere to put food on the table just like the rest of us. For some reason we've got so caught up with the fast paced, and instantaneous expectations of the world and suddenly we expect that of everyone. When I came in, there were two people in front of me. Did I wait for their haircuts? Yes. Did they take a bit longer than, haircuts usually do yes, and as I watched the two ladies, were they chatting, or on their phones? No, they were invested in making sure the two appointments before me got exactly what they wanted. When I had my haircut, it was cut to perfection, asking one of the ladies to do something more stylish and she happily obliged and I was amazed at the quality of the cut. The bottom line is: Haircuts are meant to be relaxing,, a chance to forget your worries at the door, and a time to enjoy with the barber or hairstylist. If you're in a hurry, or this whole hole-in-the-wall/ family run business isn't your thing, then don't go here, it's not for you.
