I went to see Alma! I must've come at the perfect time because there was no wait and she took me right back. I had pretty damaged hair so I needed to cut off a lot of length and she did an amazing job! Not a good experience, tried to have them leave my hair a little longer in case I needed to go get it fixed, because I could tell off the bat that they probably weren't going to cut it the way I wanted and boy was I right. I usually go to this place and most of if not all the time I leave satisfied with my hair cut. But the other day I went and it's safe to say it will be the last time I go in. The lady cutting my hair seemed like she was in a rush and just wanted to get over with it even though there was no other customers in line. I asked for a simple 1 on the sides and an inch or 2 off the top and they couldn't even accomplish that. My hair looks like the aftermath of a toddler getting a hold of scissors and going at my head. Don't come to this place unless you have the intentions of asking for your head to be left looking like a broom. read more

Since I had 45 minutes while my oil was getting changed, I ventured accross the street and decided to give this place a shot. I was greeted by Cathy (the owner) and she sat me down and knew exactly what my hair should look like. She said she only does men's haircut because of her background and 15 short minutes later I was looking sharp. No uneven spots, no weird lengths anywhere and only $11! I will be back and would highly recommend Cathy for men's cuts. read more

I have also been very happy with the hair products I have bought there. It is best if you can make an appointment to come in, but they do take walk ins. Worst experience ever!!! I wish I knew what the stylist name was, she was young with long blonde hair. My son was very clear about what he wanted, he wanted to keep his hair long we just wanted it trimmed out of his eyes. He has kinda surfer hair that he loves and is very proud of. Twenty minutes later she comes to me and says "your child is yelling at me" so I walk over and ummmm duh of course he is yelling at you.... she chopped off his hair!!! And it was a horrible short haircut. He was crying and very upset. I didn't know what to say so we just left. My husband was so upset that I paid for such an awful and disrespectful haircut that he drove back over to get our money back. Instead of them apologizing and trying to make it better they told my husband he shouldn't be so upset and that only the owner can give a refund. My husband said then call the owner which they did and he finally got our $9. But my sweet boy suffered much much more than that $9 refund could ever compensate for. She never even said she was sorry. So so so awful, I will NEVER go there again and will make sure that nobody I know ever goes there either. read more

I went in for a simple trim. The stylist, I believe her name was Gail, was friendly, but I don't think she knew what she was doing. She only spent about 3 minutes on the trim and then asked if I wanted my hair thinned out. I said yes. She began thinning it out, and then all of a sudden, her shears chop off a chunk of my hair!!! I said, "hey, why is that big piece of my hair gone?!?" She didn't even know she did it, or she was just pretending I hadn't noticed. My hair is fairly long, down to my mid back, and she chopped off a fairly large piece to the length of my ear. I told her she needs to fix it. She said she felt bad and would only charge me "like 6 dollars." I was about to just walk out right then and there. Another stylist came over and took me over to her station. She spent about an hour trying to correct it. She got it to a decent look, without having to cut it all it off. She also didn't charge me. I appreciate the second stylist who fixed it, but they need to get rid of Gail. Nice lady, but should get a new career. read more
