YELP and their website clearly states "APPOINTMENTS ONLY." My whole life, I've been getting a haircut by an older lady who takes about 7 minutes to cut my hair (which is okay) but Eastman's Barber Shop is an actual experience that I've been missing out on this whole time!! I made an appointment online at https://eastmansbarbershop.resurva.com/book I made the appointment on Tuesday night via their website, for a Thursday late afternoon appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early and sat in their really cool waiting room. They have electric massage chairs and a lot of cool pictures to look at. The owner (Dalyn) came in and said my barber is finishing up and would be right there with me. Paying attention to waiting clients goes a long way. Some places just let you sit there without any acknowledgement - thanks Dalyn! Little things like that goes a long way. My appointment was with Kevin, who recently started working here three weeks prior. He came from a barber shop in SLC and said he really likes it at Eastman's. He said they really have a good team there. Kevin is very personable and is great at multitasking (conversation and haircutting). He did a great job on my haircut and helped to educate me on what he was doing. He gave me about a 1 on the sides and faded to a 4 on top. After the haircut, he shaved my neck with a straight razor/hot towel - awesome experience. The whole haircut and neck-shave took about 30 minutes. Kevin didn't seem rushed at all. He took his time and really did a nice job. Definitely getting my haircuts here from now on. Liked Kevin a lot. Will definitely look for him next time I book an appointment here...in one month!

I am working late days so finding someone that was open was extremely hard. I went to other shops before finding Eastmans and thankfully they couldn't accommodate me because eastmans was AWESOME! The layout and style of the joint are sick. Old school barber shop feel. I didn't know it was by appointment til I got there. I put myself on the waitlist and went inside and met Eric. I asked eric if he could fit me in and he said that he was completely booked but if someone canceled he would be able to accommodate. LUCKILY I was able to get a cut and he did a FANTASTIC job. I have definitely found my new barber (Eric) in a new city. I would highly recommend!

Upon arriving at the barber shop particularly Friday. It was a busy day. I was greeted by the receptionist and walked if they accept walk ins, which they do. I really didn't wait long on my first time but my second time I had to wait one hour in half before i got into the chair. I knew waiting would be worth it because the barbers take time to actually make your hair cut look nice. No cookie cutter type of hair cut. The first time I had a male cut my hair (I forgot his name) and the second time was a female. Also (forgot her name). They are wonderful and pretty chill and not awkward at all. They do have appointments if you have a particular barber that you want to cut your hair. But plan ahead. Don't expect to get barber right away if you come in as a walk in. This is the place to go for a nice hair cut. Don't forget to tip they do take time making SURE your hair cut is FRESH
