This shop quite literally always has the wrong sale signage posted. Whenever I shop at this location, nine times out of ten the cashier is giving me issues because the sale isn't coming up. I always get the same confused look when I mention the products being on sale, even though the signage is clear as day. I was in there today to buy some tissues and saw this cool deal on Kleenex. I always take a photo in case I have an issue and sure enough, they came up as 2 for $10. After showing the cashier the photo, he said "huh. I will look into that", which clearly isn't true as it continues to happen :// this location is super close to my house but I would 100% rather go to dean and university since their signage is always accurate. read more

Just want to shout out the employee David for all his help with processing my photos! I originally dropped off 2 fujifilm instant cameras to be processed and had one come back with only a 5 photos, knowing I had used the whole roll. I contacted Walgreens about it and he has been so helpful in finding out what happened with the rest of the film as well as updating me on the second camera and when it will be coming in. He has gone above and beyond about helping me with this issue!! As the photos were for my birthday and one of the last celebrations I get with friends before graduating college I was initially so disappointed that they didn't come back or were lost in processing the film but I have felt so eased by the customer service I received. This particular Walgreens location is located on Alafaya Trail and science Dr. It is very convenient for students at the University of Central Florida, as well as any regular travelers on Alafaya Trail. Service is rather good, at least the times I have been here. This is a good thing considering all the competition that drug stores have, especially in this part of Orlando. I would definitely recommend a visit to this location. read more

I've came here while DoorDashing, instacarting and for myself. It's clean, nicely stocked and has sweet helpful employees! I do wanna say that Walgreens is expensive and that's not really surprising but they usually have deals going on and coupons either from their paper or by signing up with them. This location can get busy at night because of random late night cravings from the college kids living near by since it's open until midnight plus there's usually only 1 cashier. read more

I have to say that the only reason I go into this Walgreens is because everyone is so helpful. I will say that the location is not desirable due to the traffic. This location is close to a middle school and parents use their parking lot and walk across the street to get their kids. It can get quite congested if you go at the wrong time. Today I went at the exact time school let out so my normal 10 minute trip turned into a 30 minute adventure. The store is always clean and it's a great place to get small items that don't require a trip to the grocery store. Yes sometimes you may pay a little more here than a the grocery store but it's all about convenience for me. read more

Terrible service, when asking a question regarding medication pickup. They're not able to provide correct information. The employees are responsible for being aware of the policies yet they don't inform unless probed for information. I asked if someone could pick up my prescription and they said yes. Only to find out that they couldn't unless they had my ID as well because it's a different medication. They didn't inform us of this until way later in the afternoon and it's cost us gas and time when it could've been easily avoided by simply asking what kind of medication needed to be picked up. I was given a reccomendation to come here from the Walgreens on Chicasaw and Lake Underhill Road due to the fact that this particular Walgreens has a "Take Care Clinic" inside their store. I was looking to get a flu shot and the Walgreens by my house could not give me one due to insurance "red tape". So under their advice I went here. When I walked in the door and registered my name in their computer system it said that there was between a 25-30 minute wait. I went to Lowe's across the street and was back in less than 20 minutes. When I walked in the door they had a sign up stating that they were not taking anymore patients that day. The nurse suggested I come in the following morning to get my shot and gave me some paperwork to fill out in order to speed up the process. I came in the next morning, paperwork in hand along with my toddler (I am a stay at home mom and have no babysitter for things like this)..I once again signed in and it stated I had a 20 minute wait, there were 4 people ahead of me. That QUICKLY turned into almost 2 HOURS i was sitting there waiting on a shot that takes 5 minutes. During the time I was waiting one of the two nurses decided she was going to go ahead and take her lunch break which I thought was ridiculous, instead of seeing who she could squeeze in quickly to get the line down. There were people that came in behind me that had only been waiting 30 minutes and when they found out how long I had been there they immediately left. When I asked the pharmacy if they could help, the lady behind the counter (a tall blonde with glasses and a piss poor attitude) curtly told me not if I wanted to pay for the shot as opposed to me getting it for free through my insurance (Aetna) if I went through the Take Care Clinic. I asked her if they could administer the shot and just pass the paperwork to the nurses at the clinic and she said "No" and roller her eyes at me. When I finally got into the room to get my shot the nurse had over heard me complaining and made a comment about it. I told her flat out that waiting almost two hours for a flu shot was ridiculous and to have customers waiting outside and for them not to even give them the common courtesy to stick their heads out the door and atleast let them know that there is a longer wait than expected is just good customer service and common courtesy. When I left I vowed NEVER to return there again for anything let alone a flu shot next year and I made sure when I got home that I called Walgreens to let the management know how long I was made to wait. Beware future flu shot recepients! If you go here you will more than likely catch the flu from one of the ppl waiting to be seen faster than you will get the anti-virus shot! read more

They employees are always friendly and I can pick up the carious things I need at a decent price. It is conveniently located so when I don't feel like driving to Publix I can get what I want here without adding to my drive time. I can be lazy like that. read more

My husband went to drop off and wait for my prescription after being in the ER. The pharmacist filled the prescription for him even though it was 15 minutes after closing when it was ready. Not many will do that. Very much appreciated!! Thank you! read more

This is in regards to the pharmacy. Twice within the last month I have tried to get my prescriptions filled here during regular afternoon hours and the pharmacy has been closed, Not for lunch- just closed. They have also been closing at 6pm which hours are inconvenient for me and I'm sure for many others too. I drove all the way to this pharmacy to drop off a script and found it was closed so I had to drive all the way to the one on Dean, then two days my oral surgeon tried to call in medication for me but they were closed at 6pm so he tried the following morning (Saturday morning) and the recording said they were closed until Monday. What pharmacy closes for an entire weekend??? I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the first time I wasted my time going here for scripts but after this second time and also the shortened hours- I just can't take that chance again. You lost my business. Medication is way too important not to be able to trust your pharmacy. read more

Donna, Grace, and a wonderful delivery personnel (does not work for Walgreens) named Carlos really made what started as a scary experience wonderful. This morning a gentleman was following me around the store, stopping in the aisles and just staring at me, not doing any shopping just staring. It was making me feel uncomfortable and nervous to leave the store and go to my car. When I managed to get away from him, I asked an employee, Grace if someone could walk me to my car. She called over the manager Donna, and Carlos accompanied us to my car. They made me feel safe as well as assured me that they will watch out for this particular gentleman. I want to add that I am extremely sensitive to the relevance of mental health in society today and do not know the history of this man, so I really hated to do this, but as a petite female I wanted to keep myself safe. The employees at this walgreens always seem happy, & healthy, and willing to help you out. The store it self is very clean though a bit run down, mainly the front counter. The only complaint is that the lines can get long real quick, even with two cashiers up front. They really need a third register up there, and a new counter. read more

I felt like trash. Nose runny, head aching, and sore throat. I wasn't dieing but I truly needed medical attention. I saw a bunch of commercials that said Emergen-c would do the trick but its all lies. I have had an emotional connection with airborne my whole life and wanted to try something new. The person at the register should have stopped me from inserting my card and making a poor decision but they didn't. And here I am suffering from the negligence of your employees. Friendly, helpful staff here. It's always well-stocked and the location is central to the university and surrounding apartments. It's very busy for the same reason, though. It's clean and the store is organized. I don't think a Walgreens gets much better. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! Pharmacy at this Walgreens is awful!!!! Was trying to transfer my scripts from my old pharmacy to this one and had to call 3 times with someone telling me first that they only received 2 out of 14 scripts and to call my old pharmacist. I called and they told me all had been sent, to call Walgreens back and have them get a verbal. Called Walgreens and was attended to by a very rude pharmacy technician that just was dying for me to get off the phone, almost hung up on me after saying she'd call the pharmacy and I had to hastily ask if she even had the phone number for my old pharmacy which she didn't. Had to call back again to speak to the manager who now tells me they received 10 scripts although I had just been told otherwise and doesn't even apologize for her employee's rudeness and unprofessionalism. Will be transferring all my scripts out of here ASAP read more

I'm a current employee at this location and have worked at a couple other location previously over the past 3 years. Walgreens is a company that I have and will continue to suggest people to apply to, especially students at UCF. There is lots of room for growth within the company and a plethora of valuable learning experiences to become a professional and grow as an individual. I began working for them back in the summer of 2013 as just a front register customer service associate when I had just graduated high school but have since grown to become the "designated hitter" of the store. I am cross trained in all of the departments on the sales floor as well as in the pharmacy because of my position. This has given me the opportunity to learn great sales tactics such as the ones needed in the beauty department, lots of information on how to stay healthy and live well, amazing customer service skills, marketing and merchandising skills, and how to work among a great team. Walgreens is definitely the best learning environment that I have ever been in and I have learned something new every day and I'm sure I'll continue learning. Probably the most beneficial experience that I have received since working at Walgreens is what I consider a paid internship program that has allowed me to be able to take the steps to get the Florida and national certifications(PTCB) needed to become a pharmacy technician, which is typically a couple thousand dollars if you were to get the certification through a technical school, college, or university. This store in particular is very flexible with scheduling around school and other obligations, which has also been great since I'm a full time student and managers have made me feel extremely valued because they do everything in their power to help you find a new store to transfer to rather than you finding a new job while moving. However, Walgreens is open 365 days a year so it is more than likely that you have to work a few holidays, which no one wants to do, but regardless if you work a particular holiday or not you get paid your daily average hours if you work the day before, the day of the actual holiday, or the day after as long as you don't call off. So in the long run the benefits you get for working a few of the holidays is great since you get paid for basically all of them. I could go on and on all day about how working for Walgreens has made such a great impact on my life in all aspects and even after graduating college I would rather find a suitable position within the company instead of finding a new job... So ill conclude this lengthy review with just saying that if you're looking for a job that is definitely way more than just a paycheck, Walgreens is the place for you! read more

Some of the employees are nice, but others, not so much. The managers are no help, and they keep on making you go in circles. This one manager seemed overtly rude to me specifically, and I have no idea what I did. I literally went there to buy a product, and rather than helping me, he gave me a side eye and a fake look and didn't do anything. The nice older lady at the front helped me out eventually, but overall this place is horrible. Slow customer service and rude managers. read more
