One of the nicer, cleaner publix locations I've been to! I wanted to come on here to shout out their sushi selection. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I was looking a little confused in the seafood section trying to find the sushi, where a nice worker let me know that the sushi was over near the deli! I love the layout of this location, and I love the kind workers here! This public location is near my second job, and I am glad that this will now be my secondary publix location that I frequent! read more

As a chain, Publix is a great store. This one is no exception. The only reason that it didn't get 5 stars is because there are not enough cart returns. They are too few and far between. If you want to return your cart, it is necessary to navigate between cars which is not good. Add more cart returns and i'll add an additional star. read more

Do not go to this Publix for sushi Wednesday if you have an allergy and need accommodations! I went to get sushi at this Publix and asked if they could leave the spicy mayo off my roll since I am allergic to eggs. They refused and told me I'd have to pay full price if I wanted a customization. Never before has a Publix made me pay full price when I request no mayo. I was just appalled at the way the workers treated me and were not understanding towards my dietary restrictions. If I could order it normal, I would but eating eggs will send me into anaphylactic shock. I tried to explain this kindly and say that other Publixs have had no issue keeping the mayo off but I was told "Well, we follow the rules here." I'm not trying to be a complainer or "Karen" I just wanted to write this as a warning to those who have dietary restrictions. This Publix will not accommodate. Luckily there are multiple Publixs around the area who will so go to those if you cannot eat what is already available on the shelf. (I'd also like to add that they were making more of the rolls as I made the request so it really would not have been that much work to leave off the mayo but alas, maybe their rules are stricter.) Just don't expect accommodations or kindness towards your accommodation requests. read more

Publix has become the supermarket in the southeast to compare other supermarkets to and they set the bar high. Publix offers great customer service, good buy one, get one free (BOGO) deals, and let us not forget their Publix subs (affectionately known as pub subs). The fact that they put more than enough locations to make them not only as a go to supermarket, but a convenient go to supermarket. I strongly recommend a visit here. This will probably be my go-to Publix Pharmacy from now on. I just came from the University Town Square location as a Covid-booster walk-in patient. I waited 10 mins there until someone noticed I was at the register, and they turned me away because they were "swamped." There was no one waiting or in line but me?! I understand, I didn't have an appointment. However, the website AND physical signs inside the store said walk-ins were welcomed. I didn't fight it and left. Came to this location, and although they had a lot of patients, they were able to take me as a walk-in. I am so thankful! I was greeted by Allie and Brooke, and they are both sweethearts. They were so nice and calm to be around with, it made my 5-10 min walk-in wait worth it. I signed some paper work, got my shot and waited the standard 15 min. The waiting area was comfortable and spaced out according to CDC guidelines. Thank you Allie and Brooke for being so nice, not knowing I got rejected from the other Publix pharmacy (which should never be the case). It goes to show that it's important to be nice to everyone, because you don't know what they've gone through before you've met them. 10 stars if I could! Love this pharmacy!!! read more

The new "sub line" is poorly executed, and honestly it wouldn't work even if it was executed properly. The managers nitpick at employees instead of helping them, so it is very apparent that everyone is stressed and barely knows what they are doing. It is poorly managed and the employees were poorly trained. The sub I got was sickening and I couldn't finish it because of how poorly made it was. The chicken was fatty and cut into fat chunks, my sub was extremely soggy, and they are incredibly stingy with the toppings. It wouldn't have been that bad if the chicken tenders weren't cut so big and weren't so fatty that I felt like I was chewing through a well-done steak. Overall, I suggest going to the Publix on Willa Springs if you ever want a sub, they are the best. read more

Tristan: Customer service counter is a LIAR. Went to cash a check he stated we can't cash checks over $500 clearly the sign says $1,500. I pointed it out to him. He shrugged his shoulders. We were honestly sad when we moved to a different part of Oviedo and we had to change to this Publix. Honestly the transition from our old Publix to this Publix has been seamless. This Publix always feels less crowded and we're always in and out. I especially enjoy the deli section where I can order the reliable pub sub. The line at my old Publix was long when it came To ordering a sub. At this Publix it always feels way quicker when I need to order a sandwich. The customer service at this Publix is great and they are always willing to help. There isn't anything really negative we can say about Publix they're always great and it's awesome that this is the place we get to do our groceries at. read more

The pharmacy at this location is absolutely horrendous they never have anything in stock and they lied to you when you call to ask them if they have something in stock. Doctor called in a prescription today and after we called they told us that the prescription would be ready at six arrive at six and they say they don't have it in stock I don't appreciate being lied to. I like this Publix. It's not as busy as the one behind my house. I never have to wait in line at the deli! Plus they have online ordering so you can shop while they cut your meat and don't have to wait at all! They are always super friendly at checkout! You can pick up their weekly flyer as soon as you walk in or look on the app ahead of time to make your grocery list before going! Of course my favorite part is that you can create your own 6 pack of beer! They have about 50 different choices to create a new pack every time! It's a grocery store...thats super clean and very well lit. Never have any issues shopping here! :) read more

I've been to so many different Publix Grocery stores, but this one is one of my favorite ones to go to and the one I go to the most because it's in the same plaza as where I work. I specifically give the Deli and the cashiers five stars because that's who I mainly see and they have great customer service. In the deli they are fast and want to help you get in and get out while making a quality product such as a wrap or sandwich. The other two Publix stores in winter springs the workers take there sweet time and don't acknowledge you right away. I don't know if they're trying to punish me for coming in close to closing time or if they had a bad day. You won't find any of that in this deli though. read more

Today I went in to buy my usual. A chicken tender sub. The guy at the deli named Chris had a very nasty attitude with me and his co-worker. Initially I just ignored it not giving it much thought. But then i asked him to put the sauce on the chicken instead of the bread to which he answered " I can't do that, there is no way for me to do this!" to which I told him it was possible since that's what I always get. His coworker who was an elderly lady tried to help him out and explain and pointed to something under the counter, to which he very disrespectfully looked at her and said " what what do you want what is it I don't know what you want what are you pointing at" this bothered me specially being raised with good manners and respecting my elders, so I told him all she is trying to do is aid you there is no reason to talk to her like that ............ i got crickets he didn't say or even have the curtesy to acknowledge me to which I followed up on it's also common curtesy to answer specially considering I'm a costumer................ more crickets I made the comment ok perfect your names is Chris I'll definitely be speaking to a manager after I receive my sandwich my mom who was standing next to me said " I will go look for a manager" and walked away. It was only at this point that he came up with the excuse "I'm sorry it's been a busy day and we ran out of bread" once my mother came back with the manager I went up to him and spoke to the manager that proclaimed to be the highest manager on shift. I told him the story and at no point did he seem remotely interested in what I was telling him all he did was nod and smile and say ok......... no apology no I will definitely do my best to attempt to fix this what can I do nothing all he said was I'll talk to him. read more

Interesting occurrence from a normally conscientious and generous store (Alafaya Woods store). When putting away my groceries, I found that someone else's chicken breasts had been placed in my grocery bag. I reported this error to Customer Service by phone. I was told to bring it back; however, that is inconvenient to me. I was told that If I wanted to keep it, i should bring the packaging label in and they would ring it up.... Would have been much easier to not let them know about their mistake in the first place. I'll just toss it! read more

Nice and clean. This place is less busy than the one by UCF since most of the students go to the one up the road.

I wish all Publix were organized the same way. This one is especially confusing because the chips and soda are in the front right corner and the produce is to the far left, not right like most Publix. However it is close to my house so I go here often. The parking lot is better than the UCF one, but there are often kid groups selling/begging out front. read more

This is my favorite Publix and the one I choose to shop at even though it is not the closest one to my house. The aisles are wide and it is well- stocked. Plus the staff are pleasant and so polite. The parking lot is easy to negotiate, too. read more

So tired of the groups of kids begging for money. Last one was a baseball team who were not selling anything but asking for donations. Parents if you want your kid in a sport of some kind, pay for it yourself, why do you feel the need to have your kids beg for money? My daughter takes bowling lessons and I pay for them myself. I wasn't really going to write a negative review, but I feel I should at least make you aware of it. My 8-year old son and 4-year old daughter wanted to have a fundraiser selling chocolate chip cookies, they baked themselves, benefiting Rotary International's Polio Plus fund. We wanted to setup a little table in front of the store for a couple of ours asking folks if they wanted to donate a dollar in exchange for some cookies. I was told by manager Tim Tevin that we would not be able to do anything at their store because it was against leasing policy to allow anyone setting up i nfront of the store asking for donations. While I wish his attitude had been a little more forthcoming, I can understand that argument. We shop at this Publix location a fair amount and I just figured it would be nice to see if they would support the local community they serve a bit more. Anyway, tonight I went up to the store to pick up a couple of items and lo and behold, here is a bell ringer from the Salvation Army ringing the bell outside the store where we had requested to setup our fundraiser. My son was with me and of course asked why that person could be outside and we couldn't. I was hoping Tim Tevin would be available to explain it to my son, but unfortunately he was not at the store. read more
