Today was my second and final visit to the Clinic and Pharmacy at this store. I can't remember the last time I have experienced an operation this pathetic. I was temporarily rendered speechless by these experiences until I decided to write a review to get this off my chest for good (and I rarely write reviews). The only thing this store has going for it is location and looks. Do not be fooled. I'm sure it will be run down in no time if the maintenance team has the same work ethic as the rest of the staff. Visit 1 - Waited for about 1.5 hours even though there was only 3 people ahead of me (with what appeared to be very basic needs). The "nurse" did a pathetic job taking my son's vitals completely missing that he had a high fever, then we sat again waiting for the "doctor" or whatever. She was fine for a Walgreens clinic "doctor". Then, we waited for about 20 minutes for our prescription to be prepared. It wasn't showing up on the monitor for prescriptions in progress so I went to the desk to ask. This finally triggered them to START the prescription. I left and decided to come back later to pick up in the drive thru. Came back 20 minutes later and got a call as I was pulling up to the drive thru, there was a "delay" with my prescription. Parked and went in and waited in line to speak to someone. They then got the prescription started for real. Third time is a charm. Twenty minutes later I had my son's medicine (3 hours after checking in to the clinic). Visit 2 - Computers were down, so there was a sign-in sheet. I signed in and waited with my antsy sick daughter for 20 minutes. It appeared none of the many employees milling around doing nothing were concerned with this sign-in sheet. So, I went to the pharmacy counter to ask what the process was and if I could get an approximate wait time. I got total attitude from the lazy lady behind the counter before she so kindly decided to clue in the "Clinic Receptionist" that she had a customer. The Clinic Receptionist tore herself out of her little private cubbie (that she hides in all day) and away from her iphone (that she plays with 90% of her work time) to help me out. I could not get over how much these employees were acting put out and dumbfounded why I would want some sort of service from them. We waited another 30-40 min and then saw the provider. Provider again was fine. I learned from first visit not to wait for the prescription, so I asked twice to confirm the prescription was in progress before I left so I could come back through the drive thru. Nearly an hour later I called the store to verify the prescription was ready. It took me three phone calls to learn basically nothing. Got hung up on once, second time got put through to listen to a staff talking and shuffling papers, third time got vague answers how she thought the prescription might be ready. So I go to the drive thru and what do you know a portion of the prescription is not ready...they need another 10 minutes. I sit in the parking lot and go back through the drive thru 15 minutes later. Things still dont appear to be ready...then the cashier rings me up and it is way higher than expected. I almost just paid to be done with this place, but I asked so she looked and said well it's high because you have no insurance on file. What? You mean you need the insurance card I provided over 3 hours ago? And, you almost charged me more than double what I should have been charged? So I waited another 10 minutes while cars stacked up behind me before I got my prescription for the right price. If you have lots of time on your hands and would like to see a complete joke of an operation (it honestly became humorous at a few points)...this is your place! read more

Oh, yeah. Spiffy space. The typical Walgreens crap merchandise is nicely laid out like it almost seems worth something. But if you need a prescription, and you think you've given them enough time, double it. Worst pharmacy ever. Pretty shameful they suck so much mpney out of families and don't staff it enough. Always "a little backed up." read more

I think Walgreens squeezes every thing they can out of their pharmacy staff; we pay with poor service. The icing on the cake is right now, I'm at the drive through for a prescription pick up. In 15 minutes only one car has moved. There are still 4 out of the 5 cars waiting from when I arrived. The one moved after I called the store manager. I think it's better to use the drive through than spread strep germs in the store. Walgreens needs a much improved system. I may have to take our business elsewhere. It's now 20 minutes and still 4 cars to go! read more

Have almost never had a customer service failure as glaring as this. A photo order not ready two hours after the promised time was still not ready 24 hours later. I was told not only was the incoming photo feed down but it has been down for four days. No apology, no indication that she the clerk manager cared, no commitment to keep me informed. Just utter indifference and blame on others in the system The order should never have even been let through. Unbelievable. And back to CVS I go. read more

this is my new go-to walgreens. i like the location, love the fact that the lighting is not the usual garish walgreens lighting and i feel like the employees are friendlier here :) plus, the layout seems organized and the store is clean & neat. my favorite part is the fact that the store's computer system actually reads their store coupons correctly! it's the little things that get me every time :) read more

What can you really say about this place? It's a Walgreens. It's conveniently located to where I live; major plus. They have most items you would need from a grocery store; also a plus. This location, however, closes at 10 pm and is totally hit and miss in the customer service. Some of the employees are golden. Super friendly and helpful. Others are terrible. I recently walked in around 9:50 pm and one of the employees, rather than smiling, greeting me, or even just ignoring me, made sure I saw his overt glance at the clock. They're not entirely speedy either (especially in the evening hours). If you want convenience, this place is great. If you want customer service, keep your fingers crossed. read more

I am a young and usually healthy man. I can't imagine the amount of pain and suffering the people at this pharmacy have caused people who are truly sick and need their help and compassion. If you are sick don't go here. I mean you are sick, you should go somewhere with human beings that care about sick people. This is not the place to find human beings that care about sick people. In fact, it seems to be the opposite. I have waited more than 10 hours for the staff to fill a prescription for my sick child. I have driven to this pharmacy sick, in the middle of winter to pick up a prescription only to be told to come back later. Today I went to this pharmacy's Advocate Clinic with strep throat, and asked for a test. The woman there rolled her eyes at me, and told me she would be going to lunch. I should go somewhere else or come back in 2 hours and maybe they could help me. That is not how you treat people, especially sick people. Look at the reviews of this place, and think about how it would feel to be treated this way if you were sick or, if your sick parent, grandparent, or child were treated this way. Then take your money somewhere else, and spend it with decent people. read more

The Pharmacist is very helpful and knowledge. They offer the pneumonia immunization. I was able to get that immunization quickly. She counseled be on all my medications. I would definitely come back and wait to see that pharmacist. read more

I've been having trouble with the pharmacy at this Walgreens ever since my insurance stopped allowing subscribers to use CVS, but today was the worst it's ever been. The pharmacy staff (particularly the woman I presume to be the head pharmacist because of her white coat and evident authority) is not only rude and incompetent, but abusive. As other reviewers have pointed out, if you come in to pick up a prescription that is supposed to be ready, you should give yourself enough time to wait around for at least half an hour because the staff can't find the medication, or has confused your profile with someone else's, or screwed up the last time in a way that has thrown off the whole schedule, and then blames it on you or your insurance. Today I was very ill. I called ahead of time, twice, to explain that I was out of a medication (Effexor) that doctors typically tell patients never to abruptly stop taking, and to find out if they would be willing to give me an emergency supply. Unfortunately, the two people I spoke to were not part of the actual staff. When I came in, I was in bad shape. After some arguing about the store's refusal to run the emergency supply through the system or refill any other items so that I could get a couple of other things I needed (ensure, for instance, which is hardly an impulse buy) via ExpressPay, I agreed to just pay with my card, take the two day supply (thanks a lot) and leave. But because I had been 'bad,' which should have hardly surprised the pharmacist given the horrors of Effexor withdrawal, she announced "we're finished here" and pretended to ignore me for the next twenty minutes-- refusing to give me the bag with the Effexor, for no other reason than to assert her authority. The worst part of the whole ordeal was that she kept looking over at me and smiling, and, to my horror, even giggling. I broke down in tears, which was humiliating, as was being forced to beg. For psychiatric medication, no less, which serves no recreational purpose whatsoever, but can cause seizures if abruptly discontinued. I have no idea how to report this incident, but this behavior is so not okay. I was punished for demonstrating symptoms of the disorder that requires me to take the medication, not to mention the symptoms of withdrawal from this medication, and the pharmacist thought it appropriate to punish me by withholding it, and gloating over my distress. That's serious. That's abuse. Finally, I think it's worth noting that the pharmacy staff has had a major turnover, and now seems to be exclusively white. Which makes me wonder if the two-to-three employees of color I no longer see were given the boot or bullied into quitting, and also, if their white replacements feel entitled to be rude and slow-pokey as all get out because they can get away with it (or think they can, which basically amounts to the same thing). read more

I don't even want to give Walgreens pharmacy 1 star -- there should be an option for zero. They are consistently incompetent at this store. I want to get my prescriptions filled at CVS, who are kind and treat you like a customer, but my insurance won't pay for it unless it's at Walgreens. I literally spent 5.5 hours yesterday trying to get a Rx filled and it never happened. This is something I need to physically function on a daily basis, so it is time sensitive. There are many reasons why it was difficult to get (Dr. called it into CVS, Walgreens pharmacist wouldn't talk to CVS pharmacist on my cell -- said they had to call Walgreens, when CVS called Walgreens it went to a call center instead of directly to the store & they only transferred one of my 2 scripts, when Walgreens then called CVS, CVS said the prescriptions were no longer in their system, etc etc). What is really the worst, though, is how RUDE the techs who work the counter are. When I finally went this morning, I called ahead of time & they said it was all worked out, the tech at the counter didn't understand so I re-explained it, then waited for a very long time & when she came back she said they were working on it & to take a seat. I asked what there was to work on since I had called ahead and they said it was ready, AND SHE GAVE ME THE HAND and went to help another customer. Her name is Jehsi. This happened. It's not an isolated incident - I have been treated similarly by others who work there. Whoever the manager there is has no control over the way their employees treat their "customers" and I will not be giving them my business in the future. read more
