I love Walgreens except for this location. I just stopped in to pick up some stuff, but I had to use the bathroom (really bad). They had one, but it literally had two keypads. There was a line at the pharmacy, and only one person was helping the drive-thru. I found an employee and asked if they could let me in, and she said to talk to the folks back there, motioning to the pharmacy. I said it was busy and asked if she could help me. She said (exact words), "Nope, whatever, what do you want me to do?" and shrugged and returned to her business. I went back into the line, now really having to go," the folks in the line apologized. After a few minutes of nobody showing up, I decided to leave. On the way out, I asked the cashier where a bathroom was I could use (hoping she would help me there or at least point to a business that doesn't hate its customers). She said, "Yeah, you can go to McDonald's over there," and pointed me out the door. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy there could possibly be. they call to say that meds are ready when they are not, they make you wait an hour to fill them when you said you could come back later and then scream in your face when you point out their mistakes. use a different pharmacy. read more

This is one of the bigger Walgreens in the Cincinnati area. It is located in the Norwood near Krogers/Fitworks area off of Sherman. I do not like the location. Definitely a busy area. Whenever I go to this Walgreens, I don't have to wait a long time for my prescriptions. There is a drive thru section if you do not want to inside. Also there is coffee section which is convenient if you need your daily dose of caffeine. Staff is friendly and inside is clean. read more

This Walgreen's location is like any other. The staff is friendly enough, the store is clean and well organized. I don't really know what else I can say about this location. The parking lot is always crowded, but not so much that you have trouble getting in and out. Overall, I'd stop here before I went across the street to Kroger if I needed something quickly! read more

This Walgreens is pretty standard, but a somewhat rough crowd uses it as a convenience store. I'm not a fan. Still, it's open 24 hours which is important when Kroger closes at 1am. In a pinch it does the job. At night it can get downright strange, though, so be aware of your surroundings just in case. I work in the pharmaceutical industry, and Walgreens has ridiculous margins because they mark items up to an extreme even convenience stores could only dream of. An item that's $10 at Kroger is probably $20 here. Go to independent pharmacies if possible. They do have domestic beer until 1am, so when I'm not feeling like an adventure at the Norwood Kroger, I'll pop in for a moment to grab some tall boys. Because Ohio sets beer prices, it's just about the only thing not expensive here. read more

I was driving home from work on a Thursday evening in August. My dad called me earlier in the day to ask if I could pick him up more of #walgreens brand #painrelief patches for him. This store is on my way home so I took the exit for it. The store faces on Montgomery Road. To enter the parking lot though you have to turn onto the side street. It is a big parking lot that runs down the side of the store to behind the store where the pickup pharmacy window is located. When I entered the store there were three women employees looking quite busy. They had on face masks as did I. One was at the checkout counter with a customer where there is plexiglass between them and the other 2 were restocking the shelves. I was greeted as I walked by them on the way to the #painrelief aisle. I was only able to find two large 8 packs of the patches on the shelf. This is the way it usually is at any #walgreens I shop at. The 4 packs and the 8 packs are either low or out of stock. They've been on sale a lot lately at buy one get one half off but this doesn't seem to effect how many I find on the shelf. It is always low. I headed up front to the checkout counter. There was only one other customer in line at the counter. The floor is marked to keep us at a 6 foot distance. I always make sure to enter my Dad's phone number to earn more #walgreens rewards points. 5000 points get $5 off the bill. My purchase was done in less than 2 minutes. Never been treated more like a thief than at this store. Took a $35.00 Walgreens item back with a receipt and told the manager "Joe" that I had drove an hour to return the item for my 90 year old mother who lives in Norwood and he flat out said "drive an hour back home" if I didn't want his store card because it was 33 days since purchase, but According to their own company 100% guarantee they should give a full cash back or how ever it was paid for. Up until today I always liked that store especially their pharmacy but now I figure my business will be going to CVS read more

Was quoted $200 for my medicine..was able to get a few blocks away to another pharmacy and get it for $22. Horrible customer service. Will definitely not be back. read more

Pharmacy and management have become worse as time goes by. My wife and I used to have prescriptions filled at the older store in Norwood before Walgreens moved to the present location. Much better service then. Since move to corner of Montgomery Rd & Sherman Ave service has consistantly become worse witth each passing year. Pharmacists now feel they know more about you, your health, and medications than Primary Care Physician of 12 years does. They refuse to fill prescriptions that PCP has issued. Store Management no better either. When confronted with this issue the Store Manager said he would check into problem and get back with me next day. Yeah right, I am still waiting for him to contact me. I only assume that they think because we are older that we will let this issue drop. Fat chance, I am going to pay Store manager another visit tomorrow. SURPRISE, it's me again. Would not have given any stars but must give one star even when it is not deserved. read more
