This is your typical Walgreens located at Biscayne Blvd and 123rd at a very busy corner at a strip mall. There is plenty of parking for all of the shops located there. They have a small health clinic inside as well as a pharmacy for your convenience, which we have used in the past for bad colds or the flu. This store is well organized and well-stocked with customers coming and going constantly. We stopped by to pick up travel necessities for a trip. Our experience was good with no problems. read more

We were driving a friend to pick up a prescription. Since she's currently using a walker (after surgery), it was a bit of a challenge to have to walk to the very back of the store to reach the pharmacy. Worst pharmacy in Florida next to the Walgreens at 700 W Broward in Ft Lauderdale, both locations have the rudest pharmacist on the planet. The one at this location is also extremely racist, he has completely different "rules" for different people and was observed and recorded during several interactions. They have been reported to the state pharmacy board as well as DeSantos directly. I can't express how bad the customer service is at the pharmacy here. 1. You can expect to wait up to 30 minutes just to speak to anyone (checking on a renewal, etc.). 2. On so many occasions, I've had renewals submitted by physicians, only to have the pharmacy deny receiving them. But after demanding they re-check and re-check and re-check, they somehow miraculously discover them. Their system couldn't be less efficient. 3. I was set up to receive text notifications when a prescription was ready for pick-up. For no reason, the notifications stopped coming. I brought the problem to the pharmacy, but they couldn't fix it. I contacted the corporate tech support--they sent me back to the pharmacy. So I don't receive notifications, so I have to call in to see if something's ready (see #1 above). In all fairness to this location, the local CVS is equally bad. This place raises my blood pressure and makes me suicidal. I'd treat these conditions, if I could get hold of my pharmacy. read more

THIS IS W PHARMACY REVIEW! So let's talk about what happened today. I went to this Walgreens to get my COVID booster shot. I always recorded myself getting the vaccines. I have 700k followers and always let people know that it's important to get the vaccine. The ladies today did not let me record myself even tho they won't be seen in the video!the sense of me recording is that people who are scared of it go and get the vaccine. They didn't even let me show them the other videos so they can be sure I'm not recording them whatsoever. I was super nice to them and even when I tried to explain and show them they just brushed me off acting like they are better then anyone. Funny enough that the girl who vaccinated me told me that her grandfather passed away even tho he had all the vaccines. He got hospitalized and passed even tho he even had the booster shot. So I'm not sure why you guys are vaccinating the first place if that's what you guys think about the vaccine. In the end they pretty much explained that this vaccine is worthless either way. Well good job. And here is the law site of it Federal Recording Laws and Your Right to Privacy Under federal law, you have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" . However, this law allows for one-party consent. This means one of the people involved in a conversation can give permission for everyone else to be recorded, even in your own home. So in the end I had every right to record myself. There is that! I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ASK WHY MY VACCINE INJECTION WAS SO HIGH UP? I am 35 years old, never did I get an injection like this. I have serious medical conditions and I'm prepping for surgery soon and they denied me my medication because they felt quantity of my medicine was too high and refused to give me my medicine and went over my doctor's orders. TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM NELLY, PHARMACY MANAGER! I have been dealing with many health issues all my life, and have a lot of medication. I've been going to this Pharmacy for almost 10 years and NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE HAD SUCH HORRIBLE TREATMENT! I'm in Service Management myself and could never let anyone be treated so terribly. I was due for a partial refill, and this Nelly refused to refill based on her own feelings, despite what the I'm due just because she didn't have the write dosage and refused to accommodate. I believe it was the type of medication, and she was prejudice against me right away! As i got upset, as I should have not getting my medication, she was laughing at me! A pharmacist Manager laughing because she's not giving a patient their medication! Wow! Oh, and I came the day before and they said come today and another Pharmacist said it would be ready. When I arrived today, the cashier said she could see it anymore. Then Nelly told us "Oh, I deleted it". Than, when I asked her why she would delete my RX, she said she wasn't dispensing it, and threatened to delete my profile, and she's doesn't care at all! And she's the PHARMACY MANAGER!!!! I went to pick up my order AFTER I Received an email from Walgreens stating that my order was ready. The customer service rep could not find my order. She told me I was probably at the wrong store, and that it wasn't here. Mine you she is telling me this without even pulling up my order info. So I show her the email I received and my order#. She then proceeds to say, well Idk what happened but your order is not here. (Ok, do you plan to investigate??) She tells me there's nothing she can do. This Walgreens is in a convenient location at the corner of 123rd and Biscayne in a strip mall that also has Panera, Burger King and a dollar store. We went to get an original photo scanned and printed for copies and their computer was fast and easy to use. It only costed 78 cents for 2 copies of the photo. We ended up getting a some k cups. Basically you have to have a Walgreens membership card to get any discounts. The coffee we were going to buy was on sale for 6 dollars but without it, it would have been 9 dollars. While I have a CVS card I don't have a Walgreens card. I just asked the person behind me to use theirs so I could get the discount. I wish they had an "override" for that. Let's say I didn't want to get a card why would I want to pay full non sale price? The employee at the photo counter was very helpful. read more

Worse pharmacy I've ever encounter .. ever!! , completely apathetic and slow, they just don't care, and if is the night shift is even worse , starting for the pharmacist in charge, I had a procedure at the hospital and went to pick up the medicine she pharmacist in charge told me to sit down that she will call me whenever my prescription would be ready and I ended up waiting 43 min, while she was laughing and socializing with her teammate. Funny thing the pharmacy wasn't even busy and when I asked why I was waiting all that time, she have the nerves to answer " ahh it was ready you can take it" , after almost an hour waiting. The pharmacy is horrendous. They lose prescriptions. When the automated service tells you that your prescription is ready to be picked up, the location then makes you wait at least 30 minutes to fill the prescription, upon your arrival. The pharmacists are not polite, nor do they answer questions. I've never been able to get them to fill any prescription in less than 30 minutes. They claim to have a delivery service, but to set that up the individual needs to go in to the Walgreens to establish delivery. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

The pharmacists here have some sort of narcissistic complex where they decide to pick and choose who gets their prescriptions and who doesn't. I have been refused my maintenance medications here that could hospitalize me and cause me to seize multiple times. It's like they LOVE the power trip they have. My prescriptions are sent electronically, so they basically have them hostage and refuse to send them to another store insisting that my doctor has to be the one to call in my prescriptions again? Now, it's been two weeks since they're claiming to not have had my medications in stock once. Hard to believe about a common maintenance medication. In my visit to purchase condoms AKA covers men wear for protection during sexual intercourse, I found the condom section locked for which I had to request help from the clerk to get it open. Upon the clerk's arrival, he proceeded to ask for my opinion of the condom's overall quality. So I decided to develop further in this review. His very first question was whether the condom is easy to wear, I replied it's not, however, it has to be hard to wear the condom. That's where he got confused, so I'm here to clarify that the condom is easy to wear, but the genital the condom is supposed to be on during sexual intercourse is supposed to be hard. I went to Walgreens on a Saturday evening to pick up prescriptions for my mom. The prescriptions had already been called in by her doctor before I got there. There was a line at the window. The pharmacy tech said the prescriptions would be ready in about twenty minutes. An hour and a half later I was still waiting. I went to the counter to ask when I could get mom's medicine. I think I was forgotten, because it took another ten minutes. There are very few pharmacies in the area that are open weekend evenings. It makes sense that they would be busy. They need more help. This is the worst Walgreens's location! 12295 Biscayne Blvd. Don't go there if you are black or elderly! They seem to have a problem helping both! Pharmacy area lacks customer service skills, they don't know how to treat face-to-face customers with courtesy much less over the phone. The wait at the pharmacy is ridiculous and be prepared to wait at least an hour on the phone before anyone picks up and this is all hours of the day. Oh let's not mention the store managers and their turnover rate. The store needs to be closed for proper customer service training starting with managers especially the ones who obviously don't want to work on holidays. You walk in, there are always several people in line, one register open. The people on the registers can't read and don't even know colors - at least not in English - you ask for the specific thing you want. They look around blankly. You ask for the purple one on the top shelf, they point at everything else and look confused. When they finally manage to land on the right one they keep right on going even though you tell them to go pack 12 times. When they finally do grab the right one they don't know how to use their register, but as soon as you try to pay with your phone, and it doesn't go through they blame you or your phone. They number of people who don't know what the color purple is, but think they're experts on Apple Pay boggles my mind. This is why a trip to this Walgreens to buy a vape cartridge takes 15-20 minutes. read more
