But calling this place "healthcare" is like calling a cockroach a roommate. This CVS isn't a store--it's a human rights violation with a rewards card. It's an average CVS. The pharmacists were courteous and reasonably quick. The challenge is mostly with customers who don't seem to understand they have a co-pay for their prescriptions even with insurance and hold up the line arguing with the pharmacists. read more

The worst pharmacy in MIami. Poor service. Bad attitude. And, worst of all, they keep charging me full price for medicine that has been approved by my insurance company. In fact, I had several discussions with my insurance company and Medicare and they all agree that there "nothing but trouble" with this location. They are robbing us and we are letting them. I logged a total of eight messages in their answering machine and I am yet to receive a courtesy response. read more

After reading all of these reviews, I feel compelled to counterbalance the negative ones. I have been going to this CVS for years and not once were they rude to me. The people upfront are respectful and sometimes going out of their way to help when needed (which is a rarity with ANY drug store). Special kudos to the pharmacy staff: Sebastian, the pharmacist, Maria, and another gentleman (whose name I'm don't recall). They are patient with the customers, which says a lot that they can deal with me. The people who posted the negative reviews should consider that they are doing the best they can with difficult customers and taking the time to answer their questions regarding medications. read more

Stumbled across this location because non of the other CVS locations we stopped at had what we were looking for. It's a little run down but we finally found the item we needed! The staff member we encountered was kind and offered to help as soon as he saw us looking around, but we had already found what we needed. We did notice they were out of a lot of stuff just like other CVS locations, and the makeup area seemed a little unorganized. They have 2 self checkout machines and unlike a lot of the other CVS locations, these accept both cash and credit/debit cards. read more

Absolute nightmare of a pharmacy! Incompetent staff who couldn't find a band-aid in a first aid kit if their life depended on it. Wait times longer than a slow-motion movie marathon, and when you finally reach the counter, they manage to mess up your prescription more times than a broken record. And did I forget to mention, once I finally got to the pharmacy register at 7:59 they denied service because they close at 8:00 Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy frustration and wasting your time!" read more

So frustrating, pharmacy NEVER EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE ! Should be kinder to they patients

Well, where does one start? The location is a pain to get in and out of. The inside of the store feels dirty and has an ominous feeling/ atmosphere. The coolers are set so high that can beverages are freezing and exploding. The staff are decent considering they are probably under paid and over worked. I don't care for the service at this location. The cashier was on her phone then entire time texting and didn't remove my coupons that I wanted to use. She insisted I had non even though I showed her on my phone and it was on her screen. She wasn't paying attention. read more

I love this CVS. People here are very professional and courteous. I especially must acknowledge an excellent employee by the name of Alexandria. She is amazing. She always greets me with a big smile and is so friendly and extra helpful. She gets 5 stars from me . The two pharmacists, with Dr Sebastian as manager, have provided a complete reversal from prior laconic and dismissive provider-pharmacists who had been assigned to duty at this CVS location. Moreover, the unfriendliness of the managing predecessor often seemed a cover for laziness. When a longtime customer like me returns to see night turn to day, he knows Yelp is the place to sing. My thanks to the regional manager who must have facilitated this change. And I thank the bright star that shines over this CVS location. read more

This CVS is located on the west side of Biscayne Blvd and Sans Souci. It's also accessible from 16th Ave on the backside but the parking faces Biscayne. Biscayne blvd is busy sure, the Pollo Tropical next door can make this area busy as well especially if cars are lining up to go through the drive through. This CVS is pretty much like just about any other but my reason for coming to this particular one was that they sell SunPass portable transponders. My cousin was telling me I could get a transponder from Walgreens or Publix but this was the closest location to where we were so I just picked up a portable for 20 bucks. You can't just start using the transponder out of the box however, you need to go online and register the unit and tie it to a payment method etc. read more

Just don't waste your time here. You will just get yourself frustrated. Waited 3 days for medication. When it was ready they couldn't find it. The bums in the front give you a warm welcome by hounding you. read more

Called pharmacy twice. Got disconnected after 15 minutes on hold. Held for 22 minutes on second attempt to speak to someone. No one ever answered. That is what you call terrible customer service. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy that values the time of their customers. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. My God. I don't understand how difficult it is to fill prescriptions. There's one pharmacist in particular that's completely incompetent. The waits are always so long and it takes forever for them to fill prescriptions. If they don't have your medicine in stock they're give you a generic without your consent instead of sending it from another location. The only reason I come here is because my new insurance, and pharmacy program (CVS Caremark) MAKES us pick all of our prescriptions up from CVS's only. I used to go to Walgreens, and absolutely loved it. read more

If you purchase a defect item at CVS, you are allowed to return it at any other CVS. Not at this location where JULIO is the STORE MANAGER! The friendly lady at the register already prepared everything and was about to give me my refund and then Julio the manager came up and said he doesn't accept this item I have to go to a other CVS. When I asked him why his answer was "because I don't want to accept this return". Again, I asked for what reason? Same answer: "because I don't want to accept this return". I asked him directly if I couldn't usually return that at any CVS and he said yes but not here!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I filed a complaint directly by the CVS district management about Julio. read more

The pharmacy doesn't answer the phone and never fills your prescription until you show up to pick it up, at which time they tell you to wait 15 min to fill the script. The pharmacists are all complete assholes who seem legitimately pissed that you're asking them to do their job. I called yesterday to see if my prescription was ready for pick-up and it rang for 31 minutes before someone finally answered the phone and said the medication hadn't come in yet. I am writing this review as I am waiting for someone to answer the phone and it has been ringing for 45 minutes!!! Worst CVS ever! read more

This may be the worst CVS on the planet. Wait times are insane, they never pick up the phone etc etc. That being said I don't blame the employees as they always appear to be working hard. It's clearly corporate/management who doesn't want to hire more employees. Go to Walgreens. read more

I've been very disappointed with this Cvs as well as most in Miami. They never have enough help and even with a line of two people in front of me it always takes at least 30 minutes to pick up one prescription. They rarely have enough help in the front either, so you never know how long it will take. read more

This CVS pharmacy is old and uninviting. There is absolutely no customer service. You can walk around a thousand times and no one asks you if you need help. If Walgreens across the street was not as packed as it is all the time, I would NEVER come inside this CVS. read more

I love this store I come all the way from aventura to fill my prescriptions and do my shopping staff is so friendly and always so caring

If you're picking up an OTC medication or anything other than a prescription this store is great. For prescriptions though, this location is awful. It always takes the pharmacist well over an hour to fill a prescription, they never have enough pharmacists or pharmacy techs, the ones that are there are so overworked that asking a simple question leads them to snap and berate customers (often in broken English) about their long shifts with no help. There is alway a line often at least 5 people deep at the pharmacy counter. Management needs to hire more help in the pharmacy. I'm stuck unfortunately getting my prescriptions here as my insurance only covers CVS, and the nearest CVS other than this one is up to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. My advice: if it's convenient to pick something up here go for it, but for your prescriptions go somewhere else. I've been told the Publix pharmacy is pretty good. read more
