I usually review restaurants and a few other types of businesses, don't remember if I ever did a review at a Walgreens before. Anywho, I know this place gets a pretty bad rap for the pharmacy end of things... maybe well deserved, I mean I've had my share of less than wonderful experiences here mostly with their vaccination clinic though. But today I was really impressed on how well the process worked. I had previously made an appointment for a vaccination, filled out the questionnaires on line etc. showed up early and was actually checked in within less than 2-3 minutes. (On previous visits I was told I couldn't even check in till my appointment time). Sat in the waiting area for less than 5 minutes and was called in by Mary Ann, she apparently is the pharmacy manager and she verified my info then swabbed the injection site and verified the vaccination I was getting . She performed the vaccination injection flawlessly, actually the only thing I felt was the pressure from the obligatory band-aid application. Out the door in about 15 minutes total.... Called the pharmacy. Placed on hold for over an hour. Poor customer service. Don't rely on this location for anything.

Numerous times including currently, I am awaiting a prescription to be filled and it stays in "Being reviewed" status for a week or more. The pharmacy phone rarely gets answered. I called today and stayed on hold for an hour until Finally giving up. There is no notification or reason for the rx "being reviewed" and in the meantime I am unable to take medication as prescribed because Walgreens has been "reviewing " it for over a week. I just transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. You could at least have staff available to answer the phone if you can't or won't fill a prescription. This is beyond unacceptable, holding prescribed medication hostage for no apparent reason with no notification. Yes. I'm furious and will spread the word about Walgreens unsafe pharmacy practices. This pharmacy is endangering patient's lives with this practice. It can't be legal. If you are in the business of patient care, try taking care of the patients. Provide a notification that you either can't or won't fill the rx and give some guidance as to how to fill it. Also. Hire staff who can answer the phone during business hours. read more

Pharmacy sucks here. Very rude and unprofessional. Employees on phones and student playing on phones. Called corporate several times and it appears nobody cares. Spoke to store manager also and she told me that she would take care of it and nothing changes here. Everytime I come to pick up medication they are never ready. They tell me to return after lunch and it is still not ready. Everytime I come here it is more than an hour wait. Ridiculous how this pharmacy operates. The pharmacist don't care either ( Penjab) does not care or the women pharmacist either. This place needs to rehire everyone. Please help the community out by providing professional quality care patients deserve. Shame on you Walgreens. No wonder your reviews say 2 stars. read more

The pharmacy is always busy, I get it. However, when you have 3 staff in the back, and 1 at the register and your line is 8 people long, pull some people from the back to help get customers through. This is ridiculous! I will be changing pharmacies. I've been here multiple times and keep giving them the benefit of the doubt. This is crazy! Horrible management. Get it together Walgreens. ZERO STARS!!! This place has absolutely useless pharmacy staff. The simplest of task, they cannot handle. They never have refills ready. They cannot count to save their lives. How someone can have a 30 day supply of pills, three different medications at one pill a day, then tell me one's ready for a fill and the other is not...It's obvious they should be filled at the same time. This is a second grade word problem. On top of all this the pharmacy staff move like molasses. Expect to spend at least 20 minutes here for a simple pick up even if you refill online. We pulled Into the pharmacy drive thru@ 9:10 am. No one greeted or said anything so after waiting 5-7 minutes we rung the bell. A heavyset brown skin woman with glasses had the absolute worst attitude. It's not a Burger King Drive Thru, like why is your attitude so nasty? She just gave us the scripts and walked away. Been going to 5th and Centennial for years and the service is the worst but it my nearest pharmacy. Was sent here this morning because centennial was temporarily closed for unknown reasons and reopening date was nowhere to be found. Anyway, I called this pharmacy and the lady on the phone was super sweet and really patient when helping with the transfer. I went this evening to pick up my prescription at the drive thru. I only waited one minute and when I pulled up the lady apologized for the wait. She was professional, kind, and the transaction took less than 2 minutes. Why can't all Walgreens be like this? Long hold times on the phone, they finally answered this time after 40 minutes and I was already in the drive thru line by the time they picked up and still had my prescription wrong...., drive thru line always takes forever, incompetent staff members... just all around hate having to come here. If I could give this place a 0 I would. I waited on the phone for over 30 minutes. At first they'd answer and say "please hold I'll be right with you." After that they'd put me back on hold without saying anything. A lady finally answered with a horrible attitude & when I said "oh finally" because I was frustrated she got even more of an attitude. I really wish I didn't forget his name but there was a VERY kind gentleman who assisted in the pharmacy. My refill request evaporated somewhere in the app so I called, he was kind enough to explain it was an issue with the app and he would talk to the manager the following day about getting it refilled. (Manager who could assist wasn't there, it was in the evening) His customer service was fantastic and he was apologetic for something that wasn't his fault. Today I saw the prescription was refilled and I didn't even need to follow up. Thank you guys for having such a great team! read more

Jasmine needs to quit taking her frustrations out on customers on the phone. All I asked was for her to transfer my prescription to her Walgreens location from another Walgreens and for some reason that pissed her off. She asked me questions about why my dr prescribed my medication a certain way (which is none of her business) and continued to be unprofessional, condescending, and incompetent. When she would ask me questions she would cut me off mid sentence every time. If you don't like how busy your job gets, or you're burnt out, you should probably be mad at yourself instead of getting mad at customers who are just trying to get their prescription filled. Jasmine sounds tired and also has no idea that some people don't care if they have to pay out of pocket for medication they need ‍ I hope her manager that I spoke with refreshes her on how to treat people with kindness. I can't imagine her speaking to someone elderly or to someone whose first language is not English. She had no patience for my request at all. The other girl I spoke with before Jasmine was a sweetheart. Maybe Jasmine can learn how to be kind from her. read more

Filling prescriptions here is beyond frustrating. They always seem to be short staffed and disorganized. When filling prescriptions for my son, I will never be notified when his prescriptions are ready, but somehow they can txt me when they need updated insurance information for him. Then, when I have provided updated information, it takes more than 24 hours to get the insurance updated!? Why? Because they didn't actually update the insurance information in their system. Had to call again and provide the information AGAIN! Told the prescription will be ready today in an hour, but not feeling confident in this, as I have had this experience before, only to show up and not have it ready. I have had them try to fill one time prescriptions such as antibiotics other life saving through their fulfillment center instead of in the pharmacy, which can take up to 4 days! I could go on and on about the frustrating encounters I have had here. I have given them many chances feeling bad for the team, but really after all this time it has to be poor management, poor training and the like. read more

Worst experience at this pharmacy this evening. I've been using them for over one year and have never had such a rude and unhelpful technician. I will be changing to an online service from now on. Where a persons attitude would not mean the difference of 25.00 in the charge of one medication. When I tried to show her the difference; I can see it online. Plus they never call when there is a problem with the prescription so you wait in line forever just to be told you can't get it. I'm moving all my medication elsewhere. read more

Do not go to this Walgreens especially for medication. There pharmacy sucks. Horrible customer service. I will spend close to an hour on hold every time I call, their drive thru takes basically an hour to sit in sometimes more, inside they will ignore you even if you are standing at counter, etc. There pharmacy staff is really hit or miss, most of the time it's a hassle and horrible service. This Walgreens Pharmacy located on Aliante Parkway and Simmons in North Las Vegas, Nevada, is just about the worst pharmacy I have dealt with. Not all, but most of the pharmacy clerks could use serious training on how to do a good job and to have customer satisfaction totally on their minds while working with the public. I would also like to see that the 2 "drive up lanes" for outdoor med pickups be reduced to one lane only....Often times the, the mindless pharmacy clerk will unfairly service the car on the other lane, first, even though you arrived long before the car that just got served....Totally unacceptable!!! read more

0 Stars! Do not go to this pharmacy. Made appointments for myself and my family and after waiting in line for 30 minutes we got turned away for service. The excuse was they are short staffed. We were advised to go to a 24 hour Walgreens or come back tomorrow as a walk-in. I scheduled appointments for the following day for the same vaccines at this location, upon arrival for the second time we waited another 30 minutes and were told they did not have the vaccine we needed in stock for me my spouse and our oldest child and that if I wanted my youngest to received it that it was $103.00. For a vaccine we have had 3 previous times and paid nothing for? Seems wrong! Called the location on MLK and Craig Road and they said that was incorrect and they would call the Aliante and Centennial location to explain the billing process. Ended up going to the other location where they know what they are doing. This was not the first time having issues at this pharmacy. Stop giving false information because you are too lazy to do your job or do not know how to do it! Get retrained! read more
