The only reason this is getting a 1 star is because you can't do zero and the older/senior ladies that cashier there are usually pleasant. Let's just start with the pharmacy!! ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I think maybe 2 of the girls are kinda hospitable. When you call, you're always put on hold when they pick up without asking if it's ok, they just never actually pick the phone back up. Out of common meds often. Lines are always crazy long, and if you're short staffed, I get it. But at least acknowledge those just standing there that you'll be right with them. This was the last thing that have made my decision to take my medication prescriptions elsewhere. I was standing in the line 10-15mins prior to opening because again, the lines. After about 8mins after open times, gate still not opened, but helping drive-thru. I see a person see me through the glass window and zero acknowledgement. Then I hear an employee behind the gates say, it's going to be a day. A couple minutes go by and a lady comes out with a sign, again, zero acknowledgement. Sticks a sign on the gate, looks at me and goes back in the door!! No sorry, no words, nothing! Never again! And the store itself is always out of products and shelves always look empty and seems to always be in shambles as everyone is confused. Even in the photo department. Couldn't even find wife's prints for over 20mins. Save the time, go to CVS up the street. read more

I waited about 30 minutes inline and when I finally made it to the counter the girl said my prescription wouldn't come from the warehouse till Friday. Customer is never right!!!!! Joined this pharmacy because the last Walgreens location near me shut down and the worst things I did. I take 7 medications per day all from anti-depressants to heart and blood pressure meds. First time I refilled from them I got a text saying they were working on them and that was on a Monday. Come Friday I never heard back from them so I went into the store in person cause I couldn't get any answers on the phone. When I went in the guy that was helping me took about 10 minutes just to find out the problem and he realized they were off 1 number on my insurance. It was corrected and I was able to pick up my 7 perscriptions the next day. Never got a call or anything from them asking to correcct this before I took action and that was pretty bad. I would have loved a call just to let me know this and it would have been fixed way prior. 2nd time I needed to refill my Blood Pressure med. Got a text from them again on a Tues this time saying that the prescription was being filled again on Friday I was concerned cause I have not got a call or anything and at this time I have been out of my med for 4-5 days which is a serious problem. They told me that I was not able to refill this prescrption for another 20 days cause it had already been filled with a 90 day supply. I let them know this was refilled the same time as my other meds were refilled so of course they had to have made a mistake and shorted me on them. The only thing they did was bring me a confirmation of the last date it was refilled. I told them I take one per day of this med and I live alone and I am the only one to touch my meds so this had to be on them shorting the refill. They still put this back on me with no help at all. Now I have to go almost a whole month without my blood pressure medication and hope I have no health complications. I even told them so the next time I refil my meds with 90 day supply and 7 meds I will have to count all these meds in front of them to make sure they did their job correctly., Thats just rediculous as I should have trust in my pharmacy to supply me with the right med and quantity. I am at this point not using them anymore and will be looking for another store to fill my perscriptions, Not a Walgreens either. Wasn't the fact of what happened happened it''s the fact that they tried to blame this on me. Even the customers waiting in line said that wasn't right. They made no attempt to make this right. read more

Been with these guys and shopped at this location for approximately 6 years. This is where I get my meds. I'm not going to vent and drop the bomb and give them a one star. They been good to me through the years and I'm cool with some of the staff there. It's now so hard to get to a person in pharmacy. I get it. Its busy. It's always busy. I called for three hours today, and the phone just kept ringing. I wanted to see what happens when I called the Smith Pharmacy. When I called Smith. Filling prescriptions when I didn't order them (I am not signed up for auto refill)...dial-in a prescription and never receive a notification that it is ready and when I call to ask about it, it is always "we have no record of that"... the list goes on... read more

My issues are: 1) The company promotes one can obtain up to 4 vaccinations permitted per appointment but the pharmacists deciding they can choose to limit to less. This number varies pharmacist to pharmacist within the same store. I was denied a third. 2) As a national company I should be able to see all of my Walgreen vaccinations on the Walgreen website regardless of which store number I got them from. This isn't the case. You may say that isn't a store issue but the employees there have the capacity to have corporate initiate change to the consumers. read more

Imagine making an appointment to get a COVID test for 4:30 getting to the window at 5:39 then they say, sorry Labcorp left at 5:00. However, the person in front of you just dropped their test in the box, so now their story is that was their last test 1. What's the point of an appointment 2. Can you send a notification letting people know testing is over instead of them waiting in line longer for NOTHING like some sold out concert show 3. Your staff is rude! Once again my prescriptions aren't ready. You can't get them on the phone so I have to drive there. When I get there I'm told the Dr didn't approve them. I call the Dr and I'm told they sent the renewal in. I have 3 prescriptions, now in told only 1 is ready. Every 3 months I go through this. This Walgreens on centennial and north 5 is awful and the people working there are rude. This is my life there playing with! read more

Came to this pharmacy after my son's doctor sent it to the wrong location. We got there a bit early before they opened and once they were ready for us, we were the first ones in line. My poor son was in so much pain due to his ear infection and he was already desperate to gain some relief. The young lady, Courtney was very empathetic and was able to find some medication for my son. With such high sickness going around she said they didn't have the whole prescription available, but she would at least offer what she did have realizing how bad he was hurting. We were so thankful, especially my son because at least he sensed some relief. She even mentioned if they were able to get more she would call me. Definitely couldn't thank Courtney enough! read more

I was trying to get my flu shot.I am an elderly person who had a spouse sick at home.I have a caregiver able to stay with him a limited amount of time.I can not afford to get ill nor can I afford to get my husband ill. After waiting 45 minutes I tried to get someone to just tell me how much longer the wait might be.No one could help me and despite the time I waited,I had to leave unassisted and unvaccinated. Went to pick up my prescription and there's a sign on the front entrance saying that due to staffing they closed the walk in pharmacy and are only doing drive thru. The line for the drive thru went all the way around the building. I regularly have to wait 30-45 minutes in line for one prescription. I'm transferring to cvs. I'm done with Walgreens. read more

This is a shame because they are two blocks from where I just moved but I will drive all the way down to Tropicana and Torrey Pines for my Walgreen prescriptions because this is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received. Called twice to fill a prescription and was left on hold with supposedly only one call ahead of me for half an hour then disconnected, then called back she left on hold for another 25 minutes then disconnected again! THE PEOPLE THAT WORK HERE ARE ACTUALLY NICE! I come here mainly to drop off and pick up my prescriptions. Sometimes I wait for them to be filled because it only takes 15 minutes or so depending on how busy they are. This is the time frame when you discover all the gadgets and shiny things that Walgreens has to offer. Some things remind you that you need it. Others you dont, but you try to convince yourself that you do like the pink foot warmer/slippers that clean the floor and massage your feet while you walk. Im sure im not the only one that has that problem! Anyways, I love it when the stuff you do need is on sale. The guys that work there are always ready to help you with whatever you need. All the pharmacists that I have dealt with always seem to have a good attitude. Maybe cuz they have access to happy pills? J/K. So in closing, whatever I come here for, whether its for medicine, redbox, or other little misc things, I have yet to have a bad experience here. I have to give a shout out to this Walgreens, because the store manager was helpful in directing me to what I was looking for, and, after I realized that I had left the products I bought and already paid for in a bag on top of a display of paper towels near the front entrance, they were all waiting for me when I returned about 30 minutes later, in the protective hands of a friendly cashier who had not been the store employee who checked me out. On my first trip here, I had stopped to add a Walgreen's club tag to my key ring, and had forgotten to retrieve the filled bag I had temporarily lodged on top of a roll of paper towels while I worked the tag onto the ring. Armed only with a purchased greeting card, I had returned to my car and sped away, until I at last noticed that the other purchased goods were absent. Because leaving the bag and most of its contents was caused only by my own negligent lapse of attention after a night of little rest, I had already decided to say nothing and just mentally write off the possible loss of property if someone had helped himself to these abandoned items. I requested it online and made an appointment. I got here and they said they don't do typhoid immunizations here. She said I should go somewhere else...so I did. I stood in line for the covid check in like I was suppose to, just to find out that they were just working one line, many employees saw me in that line, no one said a word until 20 mins later after there was 14 people now in line. I ordered a refill using their automated phone in option. The pharmacy at this location is severely lacking. I went in on Wednesday to pick up an Rx, they said they were having issues billing my secondary insurance, so after about 20 minutes I told them I would call my insurance and come back the next day. I called my insurance the next morning and was told there was nothing wrong on either of their ends- all authorizations had cleared on the expensive medication. Thursday, I went in to pick up the medicine, and they still had issues billing my insurance. 20 minutes later, they find out that they weren't able to bill my insurance correctly because they were trying to bill them for an incomplete prescription (they only had 7 pills rather than the 30 to fill the script). I was never told they didn't have enough medication to fill the script. They gave me the 7 pills they had previously filled for me along with an IOU for the rest of the medication and I paid my copay.. I can't imagine that it's company policy to handwrite an IOU on a receipt for $500 worth on medication. On a brighter note the staff was polite, although one of them seemed really annoyed at my persistence but I suppose I'd get a little frustrated too. read more
