Came into this location on a stroke of luck and boy am I glad I did! We all know how COVID has changed the way we operate in the world...that includes passports. They are by appointment only now, and good luck trying to find a post office with any available bookings as you can book up to 4 weeks in advance and the spots have been completely booked for months. I was finally able to book an appointment, and need passport photos to take with me so I called ahead to another CVS to see if they could print some photos I had on my phone. The visit did not go too smooth, but I left with photos so there was that. I was sent to another CVS, this location on Craig/Camino al Norte to get my photos cut because they didn't have the tool there to cut it, and that was my stroke of luck. The manager Deanna happened to be working and she takes most of the passport photos at this location and is a pro and knows what will pass and what won't. She suggested I go back to the other location and get a refund, because the photos wouldn't pass and that it also didn't sound right to her for me to have been charged full price as the $15 per person is charged when the photos are taken for you. I mentioned that I have an appointment in just a couple of days, so the need to have the proper photos are of the utmost importance for my family. She offered to have me come in the next day, and she would take them for me and make sure I have what I need to pass. I came in today with my girls and we were in and out in no more than 10 minutes. Not only did she make sure I had what I needed but she even sent me off with extra, just to make sure my appointment went smooth and I had what I needed. Passports aren't cheap, and since if you don't have a good photo you possibly won't know for up to 6 weeks! Deanna knew the importance of this and really went above and beyond and was so kind to me and my girls. Talk about a WOW customer service experience! I will for sure send anyone else I know who needs their passport photo taken to come see Deanna. She knows her stuff and really cares. Terrible customer service! My prescriptions were not covered by my insurance so I requested that my prescription get transferred to a different pharmacy. This pharmacist that spoke to me was so rude and unwilling to help, despite me providing the phone number and address of the new pharmacy. Then to find out she never even transferred my prescription to the new pharmacy. I tried calling back and asked to speak to a manager but I was placed on hold and they kept picking up the phone and putting me back on hold. So I went in real quick to buy some stuff and vitamins and when I checked out I realize that I didn't get my deal of buy one get one free but when I asked the cashier she was as confused as I was, when she asked someone else who worked there just said it's not that specific brand. I explained to her it says buy one and get one free, didn't say which one or which one had a seal, which she told me there was and I explained to her that the sign doesn't say anything but she said well it's on the computer. The staff were respectful, the guy who helped me was friendly and helpful. The wait for the drive thru is insane but nothing you won't experience at any other drive thru pharmacy. The most disrespectful employees and management ever!!!! Deanna the store manager has no class, no respect, and hates her job and it shows to everyone she helps. She told my grandma that we cant drop off packages even though this is a UPS drop off location. They refused to take our packages because they said we have too many and we only have two bins. They said they have no space to take any packages and they had tons of room behind their register. So whether they were being racist and refuses to help us cause there was no reason they couldn't take our packages and help us. My review is about the security officer on shift 2/28/22 and how disrespectful he was to a customer calling her all kinds of bitches and physically kicking her property..which legally may be assault. Ive spoken to 2 different managers informed them that i had video of some of the interaction. Was told id get a call back by tuesday and here it is thursday and I havent recieved a follow up call. And although this security guard doesnt work for CVS and is out sourced he is still a representation of your company as he is making decisions and actions while employeed at your company.. This place is ghetto. When you go to the makeup isles it makes a loud announcement that staff has been alerted to your presence. Cameras are right in your face while your shopping. It's unnerving. I do understand that theft may be a problem since this place is not in the nicest location but maybe invest in better and discreet security systems. This review is for CVS itself, not the staff, who are all awesome as far as I can tell. I've been coming here about a year to get my monthly migraine script. Staff is friendly and kind but the pharmacy itself is so severely understaffed it's painful to watch. I never know if my meds will be ready, even if the pharmacy texts me saying they're ready. If my prescription needs a prior auth (it often does) I can expect it to take extra weeks to get refilled. I come here for one of my three migraine meds due to a supply problem of my monthly injection at a different pharmacy. So I come in here monthly, watch the staff struggle, and expect not to have my script filled on time. Go home. Cry. Repeat the next day until resolved. Sometimes I have to bring a printout of the CVS request to the doctor, and then the doctors approval for the prior authorization to the CVS for this process to complete. All of this is difficult to do as, without my migraine medication, I have 18 migraine days a month. The longer I go without the medication, the stronger and more frequent the migraines are. Driving with a migraine is painful, disorienting, and generally dangerous, but if I don't do it, I can't get my meds. And unfortunately this seems to be the only pharmacy that can fill my script, per my doctor. read more

They give you the go around about your prescriptions give you a deceiving order of things for you to run out of medication after the dosage has been changed so that you run out of pills before hand and then don't want to run the fill the way they said they would in order to have you looking at the option of paying for medication instead of insurance, they now doubled on the laziness and lack of customer service that they not only stopped answering calls making it that you can only leave voicemails but with all the workers there they still also added to the list closing the drive thru making lots of us who struggle walking go inside to sometimes big lines to get our medication which while system shows they're ready, they want you to wait a whole hour there to get them cause they're not ready! Hope karma eats at them someday n are treated the way we are so they can feel the frustration they're making us feel with their incompetence! read more

Worst customer service experience ever. After being notified by UPS that this location is a drop off point for UPS, my mother drove to drop off approximately 20 packages to the store. The manager, Clayton, was at the register and took the packages from my mother. Clayton asked another staff member for assistance with scanning them and that staff member came to the register to scan the packages. She then left the register for some reason to get the store manager, Deanna. Deanna came out and saw the packages and told my mother that she could not leave the packages on the counter. She told my mother that she had too many packages and they do not have space to hold the packages behind the register. I was at the post office and drove over to figure out what was going on. I was on the phone with my mother Emile this was going on. My mom was calm and polite the entire time. At no point did anyone make any type of accommodations or offer to assist her. She basically just told her to go to another store and that she could not help her. She then told my mother that she was dropping off the packages after 3PM, their cutoff time, which was incorrect. My mother was inside the store being assisted by Clayton prior to 3PM. Knowing that the last pickup time was at 3PM no one called to make sure that the other store or location that they were directing her to had not already picked up. No assistance. Nothing. She basically just told her to leave. My mother offered to sit on the side of the register out of the way until the UPS driver showed up. There wasn't an offer to take the packages as a one-time courtesy, knowing that UPS directed us here to drop off. I showed up and find that there's PLENTY of space behind the register, especially knowing that UPS was scheduled to arrive around 4PM. Deanna was not happy when I raised my voice while talking to her and expressed that she was frustrated. Well, SO WAS I DEANNA. I was frustrated with how you were treating my mother. I asked her why she would have my mother, someone who was much older than her, carry the boxes out, drive to another location and have to carry them out again. Deanna then had the audacity to ask me why didn't I bring the packages in myself. And when Clayton tried to get involved he threatened to call the police on me if I didn't lower my voice. Call the police? Really? You're going to call the police because I'm raising my voice? Oh yes, Clayton, please call the police on me while I'm here trying to help my mother who is a retired officer. Let's interrupt them helping people with real life emergencies so they can come and tell me to lower my voice. Or how about you actually do your job and assist the customers you were hired to help? Absolutely worst customer service experience. I'm definitely contacting the regional manager, there's absolutely no reason why they were unable to take and scan 23 packages and make us wait for the UPS truck to come. Why are you listed as a UPS drop off point and why is UPS directing us to your location if you can't take 23 more packages? All the packages fit inside two storage totes that my 67 year old mother carried in by herself. Again, with the amount of space that they had available behind the register there is no reason they could not have assisted or accommodated her. read more

So you know those kind of days where your not feeling yourself and have to take a trip to the ER. Well I had one of those last Sunday. After being at the ER the last thing you want to do is go the pharmacy to pick up those much needed meds and have to wait forever. I had already mentally prepared myself to wait and be patient. When I arrived to my surprise my RX was not in yet. Lord help me here we go. I was greeted by Maria. She was able to pull up my RX and get it filled within 10 minutes. She had the best attitude. Was so fun and energetic. She so made my day and put a smile on my face. Again I was not feeling well and boy did I need that. Thank you Maria for your great customer service! Pharmacists at this locale are shocking. Pharmacist deactivated a prescription from ~45 days ago. Why? After kicking and screaming from me it was finally activated and filled. This was after a tech told me the med didn't come in the dose prescribed. Quick "googling" made that wrong. Well, I'm told, we would have to order that because we don't have in store. Huh? Yeah order it. Or how about a prescription for 30 days for which they filled with seven tablets. That's all my insurance will pay I'm told. Insurance says no auth is needed and can't believe I'm not getting the complete Rx. I won't start taking it because I'd be foolish when I don't have enough. First of all...it says it is a 24 HOUR CVS. IT IS NOT! I was there at 6:50 a.m. and it was NOT OPEN, so I had to go back at 8am. Second of all...I needed to get ONE item...EXCEDRIN PM. I went to the aisle....there was not any excedrin at all...not any. I asked the 2 girls that were in the pharmacy where the Excessive was...the 2 girls that were DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT TAKING TO EACH OTHER....and the one said right there in aisle 13. I went back thinking I must have missed it but NOPE.....NO EXCEDRINE. I went back to the pharmacy again....where the 2 girls were STILL DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT TALKING TO EACH OTHER....and I asked if they could please help me find it as I was in a rush and I just didn't see any. The one girl said "ask the girl up at the front." So....I went up to the front where the ONLY EMPLOYEE (Deanna) was....helping a lot of customers at the cash register...and she was so kind and said as soon as she was finished ringing up the customers she would help me. So I waited and she finally came...she had to lock her register...make sure no customers needed to be rung up...etc. and she told me that Excedrine had a big recall ..so they didn't have any right now. She continued to help me and was just AWESOME.....UNLIKE THE 2 OTHER PHARMACY EMPLOYEES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HELPING ME BECAUSE IT WAS A DRUG!!! Bought a tattoo kit box, brand called a Tattoo Goo. The kit includes tattoo lotion, liquid soap, and tattoo ointment. The lotion was 75% USED up and the tattoo ointment was definitely USED up as well. Looked like someone dug their finger in the ointment and took out a huge chunk of it! The kit cost over $21! Went down to the CVS on Craig Road because on the website it states that they print black-and-white documents and photo 'while you shop' - take the time to go to the location itself and they look at me like they had no idea what I was talking about. I'm leaning towards hoping that the staff wasn't lying just to get out of having to do any part of their job, so the review is saying that they need to keep things updated so customers aren't frustrated for having their time wasted. I was just in this pharmacy that is supposedly 24 hours and told at 8:30pm they would be unable to do any scripts till 6am. Why are you a 24 hour pharmacy then? Visited the pharmacy today on my way to the gym. Was buying granola bars, a drink and 2/$2 gum. Lady working up front asked me for my rewards card. I couldn't remember if I had one so I tried my cell to no avail. I asked to sign up and she said they couldn't sign me up if I already had a card. I said I don't think I have a card but whatever. I'll out the gum back. She asked me to put the gum back (her job). Then she asked the lady behind me to "borrow" her card. By then I said I only wanted my drink. So the employee said she had to call a manager to void the granola bars. I walked out and said nevermind. It wasn't worth it. Tips for the Manager: 1. Fire the lady working up front on July 4th at 11am. 2. Train your staff on signing up customers for rewards program. 3. My wife has an eye infection and the doctor faxed the eye drop prescription to this CVS. When she went the next day to pick up the prescription they said they were waiting on the shipment to come in and was expected at 3:30. I went at 4:30 to pick it up and was told that our doctor hadn't contacted them to authorize the prescription. The next day we called the CVS again and now they have no record of the prescription at all. The few times we've had to deal with CVS there's always been issues. My only interaction with this CVS location is over the phone to fill a prescription. I am currently traveling and was unable to pick up a prescription before it was auto refilled. I had called in and was told that my prescription had to be ordered and would arrive on Monday. I agreed, but found another location that had it in after I had gotten off of the phone with them. I called back and the woman told me that my order wasn't even put in. The woman tried to find me in the system and gave me quite a bit of attitude. She repeatedly said she couldn't find me...even though I have been going to multiple CVS pharmacies over the past year. Needless to say, the other location off of this street has a courteous pharmacy team. I have been with this pharmacy since 1996ish. In the last 6 months the service has been HORRIBLE!! Even to the fact that they messed up my RX and I was on the way out of town and the person in charge said ok I will rush it and have it done within 10 min, and we will call you up. I literally stood there at the area for 30 min and nothing. I finally walked out. An hour later I got the text that it was ready!! Forget that I called and had another location fill it in California. Oh ya they had it ready within an hour!!! Also the pharmacy used to be open all hours or at least until super late past 12. Then without notice all of a sudden they close at 8!?!?!?!
