I have been trying to get a specialty medication and my concierge doctor suggested ASP Cares. It's a small little pharmacy and I'm glad he works with them because they were able to work with me on an out of pocket price that saved nearly 50% over what my prescription would've cost if I had gone through my insurance! The location is in the old part of Vegas, and the building is an old school office park. Don't be turned off by the low-level look and feel of this pharmacy. They do not need some fancy logo or business, nor do they hide behind a big corporate name (and super high drug prices). Security here is tight, so don't plan on picking up a prescription that isn't written specifically for you. You'll have to show a valid i.d. to get your meds, so be prepared. ASP is able to get drugs that other pharmacies can't, which makes them worth their weight in gold. The staff has always been pleasant, informative, and friendly, giving clear instructions and going out of their way to help. Again, they don't work with all insurances, so make sure call before having a script filled here. They didn't work with my insurance, but they helped me get a workaround so I could get what I needed. I use GoodRx for certain prescriptions. If you also use GoodRx, DO NOT send your prescription here. This dingy hole-in-the-wall pharmacy saw I got my prescription from GoodRx but didn't bother to call and let me know they don't accept GoodRx coupons because they're not "contracted" with them. They said only main pharmacies are which is objectively false because I normally get my prescription from a mom and pop pharmacy with no issues. I had to shell out the money because I can't wait to take this prescription and I'm sure that's exactly why they didn't bother to tell me my out of pocket was going expeditiously higher than what I was expecting; I would just have to pay the amount for my meds. I've been using this pharmacy for a while now, based on my doctor's recommendation. I transferred all my prescriptions here because they were able to get hard-to-find medications, and I appreciated the convenience--especially the delivery service. The delivery guy is really nice and its always on time. Right now, I'm trying to refill all my meds, but I don't need the alcohol swabs and lancets since I still have plenty. I don't want to pay a copay for something I won't use--it feels wasteful. However, Cynthia mentioned that their policy is to refill everything that's due, and she suggested I wait for my other pharmacy to get Mounjaro when I already explained to her that it was out of stock at walgreens. It just feels unfair that there's no room for compromise when she told me I should just use other pharmacy. While her voice sounds pleasant, her tone comes off as condescending--as if she's more interested in enforcing a rigid policy than actually helping. I discussed the issue with my doctor friend , and he explained that due to insurance reimbursement challenges, small businesses often need to bundle prescriptions as a survival tactic. I wish the pharmacist shown more empathy and taken the time to explain this to me instead of simply directing me to use another pharmacy. It seems that there is no one at the helm here. For the past 6 months, getting my daughter's medicine has been quite the task. I used to get texts saying they got the prescription from her doctor; Not anymore. I have to hunt them down, and that is not an easy task. Staff on the phone (if they even answer) are rude and act as though my call is a major inconvenience to them. I can't tell you how many times I haven't even spoken to anyone and got hung up on. In my last call, I spent 16 mins on hold and still had not spoken to anyone. It takes days for them to respond to a text. I just can not do this anymore. The complete failure to call when they are required to, take instruction, follow promises, communicate in general: infuriating and life-altering. I read all of the lower reviews here, and they match my general experience. Wow! Let me just say that customer service is huge and my book. This pharmacy has the absolute best customer service! My husband picks up a couple of prescriptions there, and I've had the opportunity to talk to the same rep twice which leads to this review. Her name was Sabrina. She just blew me away. These days you don't get someone to just stop and focus on what you're saying and take things from beginning to end. She is resourceful, knowledgeable, professional, super sweet and I can see a very hard worker. This pharmacy is now open on Saturdays to accommodate their customers and keep up with the high demand. WORST PHARMACY IN LAS VEGAS! DO NOT GO THERE! I have used them for the past two years (+/-). In the last 6 months their service has become horrible. Please review the following: 1. They charge co-pays when there's coupon in their system showing I have no co-pay. 2. Even though I tell them REPEATEDLY not to send a medication (I have enough of it for the time being), they send it anyway and charge me for it. 3. They don't call to tell me when medications are supposed to be here so I miss the delivery person. 4. Even though they INSIST medicines will only be delivered between 3 pm and 7 pm, they routinely show up before 1 pm. 5. Most of the staff does not speak English as a first language, so communication can be taxing to say the least. 6. Their pharmacy looks like a "pill mill" that specializes in elicit drugs for profit. 7. Staff doesn't care their service is sub-standard. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE don't waste your time trying to get your prescriptions filled here, customer service is not in there vocabulary. I called in a prescription based on my doctors recommendation to use this pharmacy. when placing order she verified it was in stock, I was told no problem it would be ready in 15 minutes. well that was too good to be true, I received a text about an hour later stating it was on back order. after calling the pharmacy I was told to check back it would be in tomorrow. I called the next day and was told to check back Monday, Monday was told still not in stock check back later. I waited until Wednesday and called to find the medication was in stock. after being told that I was also informed that they would not fill my script. I was told I'm to small of a customer and they wont make enough money letting me get just one script filled. she informed me if I would transfer more scripts to them they would be able to fill it. well after telling them I would move my 3 scripts to their pharmacy she informed me the manager said that would not be good enough for them. after a little back and forth she said the manager has agreed to fill my script this one time, but if I wanted to get it again I would have to have more scripts for them to fulfill my order. this place is a joke and I wouldn't fill scripts with them if they were free. best part is I already told 4 people about place and to give them a try because it seemed to be a good set up and they do home delivery. I made sure to call all of them and let them know they would not make them enough money for the pharmacy to fill their scripts and to save their time. This is my first time using this pharmacy. It was recommended to me by a friend. I was unable to secure my prescription anywhere else in town, however ASP Cares had stock. I set up my home delivery with a very courteous Pharmacy Tech named Sheyla. She assisted me with the entire process and was very kind and professional. I have been with ASP Pharmacy since November 2022 and my experience started off not so good with some of the staff there at the time. I am a Diabetic patient on Mounjaro and had a problem with my refill and my doctor sent it to CVS (yuck) in which I encountered a problem and thought i am not going to be able to get my prescription due to the high price they wanted to charge me for it. On 06/05/2033 I called CVS and they said that in order for me to transfer my prescription I would have to have ASP call and start the transfer so I called ASP and spoke to a gentleman by the name of David. I cannot find the proper words to express my gratitude to him for the help and the assurance he gave me to help me out with the situation that I had in my hands. I cannot tell you how helpful, respectful, professional and beyond customer service experience he has. I am so happy with them because of him I got all my prescriptions transferred to ASP today and spoke to him already to let him know that it was due to his professionalism that he offered me when I was in need of help. I have had nothing but bad experiences since day one. I never get my prescriptions delivered on time, sometimes taking WEEKS to get them. The staff lie and say they came but I wasn't here, when I'm home all day waiting. They mess up or lose my prescriptions constantly.
