We visited for immunizations & the staff was very polite & fast like on previous visits.

1st, 2nd, and now 3rd visit were all disappointing. I tried twice to buy eye pencils both times they were out. EVERY TIME I come here it's very CREEPY. A recorded voice says something like they see me in the store and that I am being recorded. This time I try to buy nail glue. It's locked up. I hit a button for customer service and I know a girl saw me hit the button. Then that computer voice above announces that they have a customer in aisle whatever for assistance and NOBODY COMES TO HELP ME and MAKE THE SALE. SUPER CREEPY HERE and no need to shop here. Typically CVS pharmacy is you get what you will get service can be subpar but not this CVS pharmacy. I went in on a Sunday one hour before closing for wife's medicine and realized it was rejected. We got another doctor to confirm the meds and it was 10mins before their closing and they stay helped me thru getting the medicine and was trying to help the whole way thru. I don't remember their names but one tanned Asian gentleman and younger Asian lady as well as a younger white misses help me thru and my wife was super happy. Thanks! read more

I'll make it simple: CVS pharmacy seems to NOT CARE about disabled people, veterans, or senior citizens, or patients with cancer. If you want proof, please read below. If you don't have time to read below, just avoid CVS. Please read the 2,000 plus negative reviews on "Consumer Affairs" https://www.consumeraffairs.com/rx/cvs_rx.html. And all the negative reviews on Yelp. The straw that broke the camel's back was when, at an earlier time, the pharmacist told me, "Your doctor prescribed you to many of these". I'm sure the DEI type pharmacist knows all about my cancer and medical history better than my doctor of 10 plus years........NOT! (think about it for a second, why would a pharmacist say that----if you can't figure it out then you're a perfect match for CVS). Other times I experienced poor service, long waiting times and casual CVS employees whose visiting with fellow employees is more important than helping customers. This already made me think I better find a different pharmacy. However, on a weekend, my 75 year old spouse was in an accident (not her fault) and the emergency room doctor gave her several prescriptions that he told her to start A SAP. Because of the urgency (both her arms in casts) I went into a nearby CVS pharmacy at 1:28 P.M. As I walked up to the pharmacy counter the technician told me they were closed for lunch and she pulled down the steel curtain as she was saying "You will have to come back later". I told her my wife had been in an accident and both arms in a cast and we needed the medications. The technician told me, "come back after 2:00 PM". I then watched 6 employees walk out of the pharmacy and I guess went to lunch. Great manager can't arrange a lunch schedule!!! OK, I waited until just a few minutes after 2:00 pm when they opened back up. When I handed the technician the Rx script I said, "Please check to make sure my wife's insurance will cover these medications". He said, "OK, give me a minute." I then said, "she needs these right away and we haven't been here for a long time and that is why I need you to check that the insurance will cover them." He again said, "OK, I'll be right back". A minute or so later he came back and told me that she is covered and it would be up to two hours to fill them and "we will text you when they are ready". I said thanks and off I went. An hour and a half later I get a voice mail that says, "We're having some problems with your insurance..........have a good day" I wheeled myself back in and talked to a very rude and defensive pharmacist who handed me back my paper RX scripts, basically telling me that I needed to go someplace else. I'm sure on a normal basis, that people who don't mind waiting have no complaints about CVS. The problem comes if something out of the normal happens (like being asked to check the insurance before the customer waits for a couple of hours then finds out they are not covered----that is why I asked first). Then they make you feel that they are put out and will just tell you anything and don't take the time to look up your situation. Poor service, rude pharmacist, employees who would rather chat with each other than wait on customers, has convinced me to never, never, never go back to a CVS pharmacy. Your prescription will NEVER be ready when they say. "Ready after 1pm" - this doesn't mean ready anytime after 1pm. What this means is if you go at 3pm, it won't be ready. You have to go in, stand in line, have them tell you it's not ready but they can expedite to have it ready in 15-20 minutes. We're new to the area, so we will need to find another pharmacy. read more

This place is negligent to a level that should be criminally investigated. Two weeks ago, they called to tell me that my teenage daughter's anti depressant needed a 90 day refill to be covered by insurance. I ask what I needed to do. They said I just had to give my permission for them to request a longer refill from the doctor. I gladly gave my permission. They said they would submit and since she had enough for two weeks worth, it would be plenty of time and her refill would be ready by then. Fast forward to today, and I bet you know where this is going. My teenage daughter is out of an anti depressant that it is not safe to quit, and cvs never fixed the problem. Yelp is my first stop, but I will be looking into whatever government agency licenses them. This should be criminal if it isn't. read more

I switched my pharmacist from Walgreens to cvs. Let me tell you, Walgreens had the worst customer service out there. They didn't even help you out if you had something. But this cvs is always in a great mood and friendly. They always try to help you out than being rude. This girl name Christina Castro was amazing helpful towards me and my mother. This CVS has 2 stars FOR A REASON! On a Friday I obtained 3 prescriptions for my son's infection. I brought them to CVS and drop them off. I have a primary and secondary insurance. When I came back to pick up the medication there was a problem processing with the insurances. CVS in for me they could not process the secondary. I was astounded since all it takes is a phone call to the insurance to clear things up. CVS then laid it on my shoulders to call the insurance saying that it was a problem with my insurance. OK no problem my son is sick... I'll handle it. I'm talking with my secondary insurance they said that the pharmacy should have called them because what was needed was a COB override. How would I know that as a civilian/patient? So the insurance called CVS and I am informed that a refund will be available by Tuesday, 5 July So today 11 July I called CVS thinking they've had enough time to call me and haven't yet. The first question I'm asked is who did you speak to? I told them my insurance spoke to them. My insurance called them and said that they needed to do a COB override and that my refund would be ready and waiting for me. The tech did not even tell me her name she spoke over me and then put me on hold without telling me she was going to transfer me to someone else There's someone else who is the pharmacy tech supervisor who also laid blame in my lap saying it was my insurance that had the issue and I needed to figure it out. She spoke over me when I tried to explain to her what was happening. She then blamed me saying I had a problem with my insurance. ‍ I asked her to please stop talking over me and to listen to what the story was. She said there was no way for her to process secondary insurance. I asked her to call my secondary insurance so they could walk her through processing to a secondary insurance. She said she would get to it. Which is exactly what she told me the last time and has not called me back in over seven days. What kind of customer service is this? So I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager Jolene. Jolene chuckled as she told me she listened into the conversation with the pharmacy tech supervisor and she did not blame me for anything. I said "she didn't directly blame me and say this is your fault but she put it on my shoulders to resolve a processing issue that I cannot resolve and needed to be between you the pharmacy and my insurance." Jolene proceeded to tell me that my insurance didn't cover the medication. She asked me who my primary and secondary insurance were and I just sat there astounded since I've been asked this several times now. It's obviously not important for different customer service representatives to transfer information to the next person handling the call. That's a leadership issue. That's a training issue. Amazingly Jolene has now taken it upon herself to re-process the medication to make sure that they will be adequately addressed through my insurances. She also offered to call the other CVS to make sure that they had the correct information. I don't know why this last paragraph could've just been done the second Jolene got on the call. Just handle the customer service issues instead of blaming and shaming customers when they're at their most basic need for medical care. I'll be looking for a new pharmacy canceling my care pass and not taking my business to CVS here in Nevada. If I could give zero stars I would. Update/ RESULT: Wouldn't you know that after they told me to call my insurance, my insurance gave me instructions, then they finally *did* the instructions.... That I had the refund I told them I should have that they kept saying I wouldn't get??!!! Weird! read more

Why do the customers have to wear masks regardless if they are vaccinated or not yet pharmacy members do not? There was a lady who wears glasses not wearing a mask and eating chips in the center area behind the counter. I have been told that there is no exceptions to the mask mandate. I know people that have medical conditions that make it really difficult to breathe with a mask and they still have to wear a mask. This is a bad picture for this establishment. They need to improve everything beginning with their customer service and attitudes and then their processes. They continuously cancel prescriptions/wont fill in a timely manner because insurance doesn't cover it even when you call and tell them you're cash pay. I went to pick up my prescriptions tonight and got stuck sitting in their long line. They served the car in front of me and when I pulled up they lowered the metal window thing and ignored me. HATE isn't even a strong enough word to say how I feel about this pharmacy. They're so incompetent. I'll be updating my doctors with a new pharmacy. Since they have appeared to have a change in staff in the last several months the response time and follow up of this location is awful. They don't communicate well when something is out of stock, provide different answers across whomever you reach and they are terrible at coordinating effective communication back to the provider and patient about alternative medicine. Don't go here ever! Last option only. Pharmacy is slower than molasses. Everytime i need a prescription refill there is an issue. Either its missing some meds or it was "never" sent in but the other meds along with the missing med are filled just fine. Last attempt I ordered a refill on Sunday and recieved confirmation my prescription was ready for pick up. I showed up on the following Tuesday 2 days later to be told my prescription was sent back due to its been 14 days.... I never knew there are more than 14 days between Sunday and Tuesday. This place is a joke. Theres a higher chance you will die before you get a complete prescription on the first try.... read more

Bad service. Started yesterday when I dropped off my prescriptions and they said they would text us when they are done. Never happened. Called at 750pm to see if they were done. Someone said they were. Instead of telling us they were closing in 10 minutes, they just said they were ready.. drove all the way down there to a closed pharmacy. Why wouldn't you mention this to your customers? Maybe they thought it was funny. Today i showed up.. I waited in the drive up line with a line of cars behind me for over half an hour. I see someone go to the drop off line and pick up their medication! Unbelievable. Why would they let this person cut in front of all of us? Zero customer service. No greeting. Quality of the Pharmacy Services are paramount to a top recommendation. Every time that we order a prescription, our chances of it actually being ready for pickup runs about 50%; and it is not unusual for them to have NO record of the prescription even being ordered. Just returned from driving over to pick prescriptions that we had ordered 48 hours ago (of course the telephone system tells you to pick them up at 1Pm (we called in at around 9am).... found out, via the "system", that, once again, they had placed one prescription into their Auto Refill (which I hate but, for them is a great way to generate $$$). I cancelled the Rx that was auto refilled, picked up my Rx... but, naturally, they had no record of my wife's Rx even being ordered.... AGAIN, they screw up delivery of an order. It's a broken record. Since they lost their Fabulous Pharmacist and her well-trained crew (2019?), this pharmacy does not run well. read more

CVS received prescriptions from the hospital and was never filled, because the prescriptions were transferred to there sister pharmacy that was closers. I'm finally feeling well enough to share my experience at CVS Pharmacy Losee Road. To say that my experience was disappointing is an understatement.. It was downright negligent. I arrived at CVS to pick up my prescriptions, they were called in around 5pm, I followed up and was told they be ready by 8pm. I showed up minutes before 8pm, the clerk be told they hadn't received it. She reminded me it was Friday night and they closed at 8 PM, my guess she had somewhere to run off to. I asked her to check again, lo and behold... they just got it in she'll put it in quickly. She rings me up for 2 of 4 my prescriptions. When I questioned it she got indignant and insisted it that was it. I asked her to skin double checked because my antibiotics were missing. She goes to the pharmacist and within two minutes they appear. I totally get an uneducated teenager not caring but the pharmacist?! A pharmacist is well educated doctor of medicine and has taken an oath to put the welfare of humanity and relief of suffering as their primary concern. This practice is shameful. read more

I don't know why this place gets such a bad rap, other than apparently having a slow-responding pharmacy. I have always found the staff to be helpful with processing photographs, and have had no problems with the pharmacy either. In the past year I have observed employees seeming to go out of their way to be friendly and helpful at this full-service drugstore. If I could give 0, I would. Absolutely terrible customer service. I've called and been placed on hold for 30 mins until the pharmacy closed and then I was hung up on. When I called the store I was told sorry they are closed. I've had multiple times when I've received messages that prescriptions have been ready and when I arrive they are not. They can't seem to process my prescriptions. Are extremely rude on the phone, not allowing me to speak.
