The lead pharmacist, Kristen (I think thats her name) is absolutely the rudest pharmacist I've ever dealt with. She constantly interrupts, interrogates, and makes the entire process stressful. When I went to pick up medicine, she asked if this pharmacy had called me. I said I believed so since this is where I always pick up from, and instead of just clarifying, she raised her voice at me saying that wasn't the question she asked. It was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. The other pharmacists aren't any better--they just let her do the talking while smirking in the background, which makes the whole experience even worse. Kristen rushes people, acts like you're lying, and treats customers with nothing but bitterness. I'm done dealing with her attitude and will be transferring to another pharmacy. If I had the contact information for the district or regional manager, I would absolutely report her behavior, because this level of rudeness should not be acceptable in healthcare. The decision to use this chain's pharmacy is due to my healthcare. But, I mistakenly chose this specific location w/o previewing their Yelp rating. This Walgreens is similar to other stores that it is well stocked and seems to have everything you may need. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The reason for the mark down is due to the procedures and checkout process area. First, please look at how your checkout lane process flow is working...please fix. Second, if you are no longer issuing plastic bags (due to NJ law) and your register is fully stocked of paper bags (approx 100+)...don't wait to the person finish's paying to ask if they want a bag for a 5 bulky items...just bag it dude!! Third, please stay up with your competitors (i.e, CVS) and get a couple of self checkout counters. Some customers with one or two items can be a lot faster than some of your employees. Lastly, the pharmacy was fully staffed, but the turn around time for three meds surprisingly took a couple of hours...in the past it had taken 10-15 mins. The long delay is also including the text notification. I enjoyed going to Walgreens in the past, when their slogan was "At the corner of happy and healthy"; now they are not keeping up with the competition. read more

I try to be nice but have never interacted with someone who is so unwilling to do even the bare minimum for their job. I have had issues with every single prescription with her. This is the absolute worst place to deal with every person who answers the phone is unhelpful and rude and they act like you're calling their cell phone at night time. One star for having their computer system down -- again! Went to pick up 2 Rx and because their corporate computer servers are down all day, nobody can get a vaccine of ANY kind, nobody can transfer a Rx, and nobody can pay and pickup their filled Rx. Told them I'm done with them. If I can't get my medicine, I'll be dead (said it sarcastically) but the Pharmacy Tech knows it's not their fault. They are getting no help from Walgreen's corporate on how to do any work around giving customers their medicine. Walgreen's advertises that they've been around since 1901. Very rude pharmacist. I was told they would not help me to find a Walgreens rx coupon which was advertised (which is fine) but then told me I had to drive around to the end of the drive through line while I looked up a coupon. At this point I had already waited 10 minutes to be helped and the drive through line was multiple cars deep. I found the coupon literally within ten seconds and then tried to show the pharmacist but she had walked away and was ignoring me when I tried to show her. She didn't come back to help me and another person did. Just extremely rude and disrespectful. read more

This Walgreen's pharmacy is the worst in South Jersey for service. I changed pharmacies because CVS drive-thru was horrible but it is actually a step up from Walgreen's. When I complained to the pharmacist she talked over me and her excuse was Covid-19 testing. No one was getting Covid testing anytime I was there and waited over 10 minutes with one person ahead of me. I am switching back to CVS unfortunately. Used to be a great pharmacy. After covid, absolutely terrible. Techs are under-trained and rude. Takes days to refill some medications and not because they don't have in stock. They also make common errors on scripts more often now. Every once in awhile you'll get lucky and get your medication filled pretty quick. Funny thing is there is no better option for pharmacies in the area. CVS is just as bad. read more

I have been a customer of Walgreen's Pharmacy for many years. I just recently moved to South NJ area and transferred my prescriptions to the Mt. Laurel location. My one prescription is due to be refilled today, so I called them and asked if they can fill it this morning since I will be there picking up other things. The pharmacy person told me the earliest it can be ready is 8pm tonight, and the reason is because it has to go through a 'process and it takes a long time.' When I asked what 'process', she huffed and couldn't explain it to me and proceeded to say they will get to it when they can. I have been on this particular medication for about 5 years now and have never had any issues with getting it filled at the Walgreen's in Greenbrook or Berkeley Heights. I think I will be re-transferring my prescriptions to those locations again. read more

My family was forced to switch to Walgreens about two years ago due to insurance. Overall, we didn't have any issues with the switch until about a year as customers. I went to pick up a prescription for my husband one time and I was told by 2 staff members that he had already picked up the prescription. This information was not true (the date he supposedly picked up was impossible as he was out of town). We ended up having to contact our insurance company to report this and they were extremely alarmed that they paid for this medicine and I was being told it was already picked up. Tricare then called Walgreens and within an hour, I received an apology with no explanation for the "confusion" of picking up the medicine and they ended up filling it for us to pick up. We chalked it up to a mistake..an odd mistake, but it happens we supposed. About 8 months later, I had a major spinal surgery and was prescribed a controlled substance. Due to having to double up on my prescription pills, (per the doctors orders) I ended up needing a new script filled sooner than expected (2 days). The doctor dated it for the exact day I would be out and when I went to drop it off I was immediately told that Tricare refused to pay for it because it was "too soon". I offered to pay myself and then the pharmacist got on the phone and told me that she would not fill it unless she heard directly from the doctor during the week..despite the valid prescription dated correctly. I was told I was not getting it for at least 2 days (which is crazy when your in chronic pain). I was able to get my prescription back and had it filled easily at another Walgreens who put in the effort to contact the doctor (on a sunday) before he filled it to make sure it was okay.... And Tricare did pay for it..no problem! Walgreens pharmacy staff at Mount Laurel is judgemental, rude, and lie right to your face. We will never be customers there again. read more

A general skeptic of having prints made at places like Walgreens, Juan and Daisy in the Photo Department were incredible and definitely changed my mind! I had such a great experience with them when my boyfriend and I went there to have prints made for an art project we are working on. They were extremely kind, courteous, and took their time to ensure that the photos printed correctly. They also went out of their way to cut the pictures to size for the project, and Juan being a manager, even gave me a discount due to the long wait time for the original prints not having come out right. They paid attention to detail and took every measure possible to ensure our happiness as customers. I Highly recommend them, and am no longer a skeptic! Thank you guys so much! read more

I was forced to change from cvs to walgreens because of my prescription plan two years ago. The biggest benefit of using walgreens is that the copay is much less than it would be at cvs (I've compared). Just check your scripts when you get home. I was shorted 60 pills on one script but didn't notice it until I was half way through. I called the manager and all I got was a verbal apology -- no explanation of how that could happen. Then he made the pharmacist apologize -- really! Now, because of convenience, I decided to go there for my flu shot. I am of Medicare age with some severe medical conditions. When I questioned the pharmacy manager if I should get the high dose flu shot he said it wasn't necessary. In the meantime all of my peers who got their shots at surrounding walgreens were given the high dose shot because of their age. I was very upset and wanted an explanation so I called and left a message for a pharmacist to return my call. That was two days ago and no call back. Yesterday I spoke to a store manager who was suppose to call me back with an explanation -- never happened. I learned my lesson not to be lazy -- I should have gotten the high dose shot thru my internist in the first place. I'm hoping cvs will become a preferred pharmacy for aarp someday soon. I'll be the first person to make the switch. Their delivery service is a joke too! read more
