I have not bought many items from Royal Farms, but the place always seems very clean and if you ask them to drop fresh chicken when you order it on the DoorDash app I like to pick up my food so I called them and they usually will have no trouble to cook my chicken fresh, which is a really great thing so our food is piping, hot and fresh and crunchy Last time, I called and they dropped it fresh and they were super helpful but this time I did not call because I forgot and the young man and all the staff were very polite and very kind and they just told me about the calling ahead to make sure it's freshly cooked. Only one part of the parking lot had a lot of trash and otherwise I was the only customer in there, but it seems like they have a good vibe and it's super clean and it's bright lights. The ambience is very tidy. I do not have anything bad to say except for the garbage that was not cleaned up outside. The main thing is the food taste good it's hot and it's cooked all the way through. I gave this location a four out of five stars because last time there was garbage on the parking lot facing the back exit to Larchmont Avenue. I don't often write reviews, but after stopping in yesterday with my parents to get some Chicken (reco'd by my brother) and seeing how the staff was incredibly helpful and patient with us, I had to. As it was our first time there, we weren't sure what we wanted and the order screen was moving a bit too fast. The older man in the chicken area (I say older bc the other workers were like 20) came around to help us, explain the sauces, the deals, and make sure we felt good about our order. He really went out of his way when he didn't have to. Plus, the chicken was pretty darn good. I'm a fan. read more

I'm new to the game . . . Royal Farms crashed on the scene in our area maybe two years ago? Only a few months ago, did I discover them firsthand. O M G !!! They operate like Wawa but have better prices overall! I love their egg, cheese, and biscuit breakfast sandwich (served all day), their chicken (breast) and Reese coffee! They have a rewards card and app that are pretty awesome. I also LOVE that they have a no-fee ATM! The only ding is on their gas prices. We stopped here to get gas and decided to check the store... I was surprised the 24 ounce coffee was a $1.89 which is cheaper than 7-Eleven's 24 ounce... They do have a few flavored coffees but not as many as 7-Eleven... A staff member walked over and showed my wife and I how to operate the coffee machines... They have fresh coffee beans in each machine... They also have hot food available They also have a rewards program... The station and the store are both very clean... Went to royal farms today order a double cheese burger with fries from lunch and a breakfast sandwich. The customer service was a negative 1 the person making the sandwiches was complaining the whole time kept saying they couldn't wait to 730 said it several times the breakfast sandwich was good it was a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. If you're looking for greasy and salty chicken that will make you feel queezy, Royal Farms on Rt 38 is your place. Also, if you wanna be treated like an unappreciated and undervalued customer, again, this is the place for you. I stopped in there on Thanksgiving to grab a drink. I stood at the register waiting to pay while 2 employees were involved with non-customer activities. They both saw me, but said nothing to me. The older woman who was inserting bills into the safe. She walked over to the register in front of me, said nothing then walked back. I had enough and let her know that I wasn't happy with her extremely poor customer service. I purchased a wrap from here and it was FILLED with black mold. I was throwing up instantly after eating it. When I brought it to the manager Michelle she could care less. She just said "oh that's from the vendors do you want your money back ?" That's it. What's worse, is she left the rest of the wraps on the shelf for other people to get sick. Normally, Royal Farms is always excellent, but not this time. I ordered four chicken thighs and two chicken tenders. The tenders were for an eight-year-old. For some reason, Royal Farms gave us spicy tenders and I didn't know that until we served them. The child got sick and threw up. Get the order correct! Don't be creative and give customers what YOU think they want. This is a serious matter and could have resulted in a more serious outcome. read more

There are a lot of places selling fried chicken. Honestly this isn't our favorite chicken. I agree with other reviews it is on the salty side. But it still quenches the craving. I thinks the mashed, Mac and cheese and dinner rolls are fine as well. The kicker for me is I think the cost is reasonable. It's cheaper than Chinese and about the same as pizza and wings.
