Close this place down! The pharmacist continually fail to fill prescriptions. Questioning customers about medications already prescribed. The pharmacist attitude creates a hostile environment. Where is the accountability at this location? Why would corporate keep this place open after all the bad reviews. The pharmacist continue to set hurdles and other obstacles to prevent filling prescriptions. The lack of professionalism warrants an investigation into the processes and procedures at this location. When a pharmacist approaches everyone with an attitude, it reflects on the management and leadership at the top. The California State Board of Pharmacy (https://www.pharmacy.ca.gov/) Is a good place to start shedding light on this location. read more

There is something going on at Walgreens that has made the customer experience very terrible. My constant glucose monitors have been out of stock for an entire month. Today it was marked as ready in the app, but then when I got there they told me it was out of stock. They told me they would have to order them for me. I really need these to control my bloodsugar and having them constantly be out of stock takes a bigger toll on people than you can imagine. This location is out of my prescriptions pretty often, but overall I feel like Walgreens does a poor job at maintaining their inventory for people's medicine and medical devices. I liked coming here because it's close, but I have to switch pharmacy's due to it affecting my quality of life. read more

if I could give no stars I would!! I called ahead to make sure my medications would be ready and a lady told me it would be ready in 30 mins waited in the drive thru for 45 mins just for them to tell me the are out of stock? the worst service I have experienced. I was given inaccurate information. the pharmacy technician seems like they don't know what they are doing and always seem to hate there job. the only person who seems to know what they are doing is Ms. Simmi. if you are looking for a reliable pharmacy this is not the one!!! read more

Why is there only one pharmacy technician working at 5pm when people get off work and come down to pick up their prescriptions? That one pharmacy technician handles both the counter where there is a line and the drive thru where there is a long line of cars waiting. On top of that there is no sense of urgency on the techs part. Look at all the negative reviews this store has. Clearly it's been a problem for a long time and Walgreen sees these reviews and chooses to ignore it. They don't wait to provide extra staffing to help customers because clearly customers come last. Shame on them! I have to wait nearly 20 mins minimum each time I come to this place. read more

Walgreens on paradise has some of the nicest staff. The ladies that work the registers are always so cheerful and helpful.

If you ever want to be ignored standing right at the pharmacy, come here! Yeah not even acknowledging the fact there is a LONG line. They screwed up countless times & now my dad RAN out of meds because they SCREWED UP by not entering the CORRECT date the medication was picked up. My elderly mother lost the receipt for the actual date she picked up so now I have no proof. If anyone thinks about Walgreens. CHOOSE another pharmacy. Worst pharmacy in the state. I would give zero stars if I could. They don't want to fill your prescriptions in a timely manner. You call and are hold for 45 minutes and then it hangs up on you. They are constantly late on ordering medication so you can't pick them up on your due date. UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

I live nearby which is the only reason I go to this pharmacy. The last two times I have been there, I have felt judged for needing medication. The first time, the pharmacist refused to fill a prescription after I had dental surgery. I was in pain and they wouldn't even fill my ibuprofen. Ive never done a drug in my life and they made me feel like I was an addict. Today, I went there to pick up two prescriptions- 1 from a dermatologist and 1 from my regular doctor. They were the same medication just different strengths for different parts of my body. And they didn't want to give me both. The old lady with the nose was so rude, giving me attitude. Girl it's hydrocortisone cream. Its hot out here and I'm itchy af. I wont be coming back to this pharmacy again. To the pharmacist with the huge nose- you're too ugly to be that rude. read more

The old lady in the front cashier doesn't know how to do her job . Second time I went to this cashier and if it takes a little longer for me to check out then she wants she starts tapping her nails on the counter A couple days ago I was at the cashier wanting to use my rewards and I entered the wrong zip and she said i got locked out so I can't try it again I said I have the app I think it has a bar code for the rewards she said but it already locked you out I said well can we try it and she just Stares at me And doesn't answer So I had to grab my items and go to another cashier and she helped me change my zip and I was able to use my rewards When she doesn't know something she doesn't ask for help she tells you what ever she needs so you can change your mind so she doesn't have to ask for help read more

Do not use their order pickup! They are a mess when it comes to order pickups! They give you the option to allow substitute items for out of stock inventory. But instead of honoring that they just mess up the whole order you paid for. Then I end up having to cancel my order and wait 10 days for the refund! Not worth my 30 minutes I spent placing my order on their App and now waiting 10 days for my own money! Ridiculous and unnecessary. I place orders online for pickup to avoid having to be in the store at risk, since I have an infant, but this store and their pick up is just a huge waste of time and totally NOT WORTH IT. read more

From many prior reviews I read on Yelp and elsewhere--covering a long period of time, and including responses by Walgreen's representatives--it appears that Walgreen's management either doesn't care or is unable to bring about any change in a long pattern of poor performance by it's pharmacy employees. We were forced into converting our pharmacy service from Save Mart on Standiford to Walgreens when the Save Mart closed and moved all it's account to Walgreens. So, for several months we've been dealing with everything from rudeness to employees walking around and talking with one-another while practicing ignore the customer. In addition, though hours have gone by between the doctor's office faxing the prescription and when we have gone in to get the prescription, it has NEVER been ready; so we have been forced to wait or come back. Neither my wife of I have ever been able to reach anyone when trying to call the pharmacy; and we have both tried many times-including again today. The last TWO times we went in to pick up a prescription we were told the insurance company would not cover it; so we paid the retail cost just to get the prescription without further delay. I've heard the same thing happen to other customers while waiting at the pharmacy. When I contacted the insurance company I was told that no claim had been received from Walgreens. We've had it with the Walgreen's Pharmacy on Standiford. Just found out that CVS is on our plan too. Hopefully we will have a better experience there. We were with Save Mart Pharmacy for many years and never had an issue. Our insurance is Tricare for Life; and we've never had a claim denied. Therefore I can only believe the issue is with Walgreen's Pharmacy. Just had to add another entry: On 02/22/23 my wife went in to try picking up a prescription during the afternoon. She was told it would take hours for them to contact the insurance carrier to see if the insurer would cover the prescription. She was told that they were open until 9:00 PM. My wife went in again just before 7 PM and the pharmacy was closed with a sign saying they were sorry for the inconvenience. Hard to believe! read more

Not the best place I went the to pick up my medication and I gave the pharmacy my medical card and they said I had another insurance so I asked to pay cash and they told me I can't so I couldn't get my prescription I will definitely be going some where else to feel like the pharmacy care about my health read more

I made two appointments for my daughter and I to take covid test on Tuesday same time only 15 minutes apart. My was at Dale Rd, and hers at Standiford location. Well I got my results today from Dale Walgreen my daughter did not. Why she didn't recibe her results because Walgreens on Standiford forgot to send out test tubes to lab. Now my daughter does not have a test results proof to enter stadium in San Jose to watch her son play football for San Jose State Spartans. A special occasion that Walgreens screw it up by their incompetence like always, they suck. We contacted lab but was told Walgreen is the middle man and they are responsible of notifying customers, no such thing. They always screw up my prescription dates, will be changing pharmacy for sure. People beware!!! read more

Walgreens pharmacy. Although the staff is always so nice, they must be severely under staffed because you can not go there to get your medicine and not wait 30 minutes. I should also point out that I do I fact get text messages letting me know that a refill is needed, a text letting me know it is ready, I prepay and have the QR code up on my phone and there is still a wait. I'm not sure what the deal is with this place. I'm not sure what I can possibly do to help make their life easier, or to expedite this process, but it sure sucks the way it is. Again, I would like to mention again the staff is always very nice, apologetic bc they understand, but these wait times are horrific. read more

A lot of my friends go to walmart, but I don't care if Walgreens costs me more money, it's not that much more money to really make a difference - plus the lines are always short, and I know all the staff by name! I like going there and getting help immediately if I need it, and always being able to get in and out within 10 minutes or less for quick items. Even for having photos developed- I can be in and out pretty fast sometimes too. The "Nice" brand water is made of PETE plastic bottles- which is one of the safest kind you can buy and they're always going on sale 2.99 for a big pack. You get points for certain sale items (including the water)- and the cashiers are always happy to give you coupons if you didn't bring any. The more points you have, you get cash credits to spend. This is a chain store, but it's more like a family --- I don't know anything about employees at other places I shop the way I do in here. I shop at other walgreens when I am out of town too because it's convenient, fast, and always friendly service. read more

Please be educated about your door sign--"In compliance with government mandate MANDATORY FACE MASK IS REQUIRED TO ENTER." I would like to educate you that a no governor can mandate any law including forcing people to wear a mask when they have a medical exempt. A governor cannot make a LAW. I would like to ask you to please stop forcing us healthy Americans to wear a muzzle on our face. I would like to let you know that any associates who acts like an authority and tells people to wear mask is in for a breaking rights means see you at court. Please do not confuse the word mandatory and required. They mean different things. Please do not confused me with your wrong word usage. First of all, CDC says it is just a guidelines`meaning it is a choice for people to wear or not. I am however suggesting that you can have special hours for those healthy Americans like me who don't like to wear a mask but have drugs to pick and NO please do not tell me to use the drive thru area because I would like to come in the store freely because I have equal rights and it is my constitutional rights that I will not be discriminated or denied service for not wearing a mask. And also then I can enjoy my shopping without people harassing me for not wearing a mask. I love this store and usually love the staff but, lately not so much. My daughter has a Donald Duck plush that she takes everywhere. Yes, I get that it was bought from your store and obviously you sell them but, on my last 2 trips your cashiers have questioned me about it. It's fine to ask once because I understand you sell them; but to be questioned more than once on two separate occasions is incredibly insulting and embarrassing. I'm not going to tell her to leave her buddy behind because your staff doesn't know how to conduct themselves. If I tell them one time that it's hers there is absolutely no reason to ask me the same question half a minute later. read more

I go here to print my pictures. The last 3 times I have gone, there is never anyone at the photo booth and when I asked for help it took them about 10 minutes to find somebody. One of the times I was there waiting, they had to ask THREE separate times over the intercom for somebody to come help. When an employee finally made it up to the front, my pictures still weren't ready, even after waiting so long. I decided to go back today and had only eight 4x6 pictures I needed to pick up. I came 15 minutes later than my pictures were scheduled to be done and do you think they'd be ready? No. They were not. And the man behind the counter (who I also had to ask to come to the photo booth) was rather rude about it. He brought me to the front of the line to pay for my pictures but not as a courtesy, it was more to get rid of me and I don't blame him but they definitely need to work on the photo booth area.
