Always friendly and helpful answering questions regarding prescriptions…read more I recently had a surgery at MCR. a prescription was sent to their pharmacy. My daughter asked the pharmacist at MCR if the new pain meds could be taken along with the existing pain med. Pharmacy said she didn't know that we would have to ask our Dr. Same day my daughter went to Berthoud Drug to pick up another non related prescription and asked the pharmacist the same question. The pharmacist took the time told her what we needed to know and she was in her way within 5 min. The only negative was that she bought a beautiful dress and is now addicted to their boutique.

I'm always anxious about getting immunizations of any kind and it's worse if it's something else like a blood draw. We made appointments online and arrived on time. We had to wait a little while because someone was ahead of us. Not a big deal. My spouse went first and he asked the pharmacist if he could stay in the little stall with me due to my anxiety. We were unsure if we'd be allowed that or not, due to COVID. But the pharmacist allowed it. I told the pharmacist that I was really anxious and I was told not to look. My spouse held my hand and I closed my eyes. I only knew he'd even started because I heard the noise the syringe makes when they're empty. He'd already removed the needle and covered the site by the time I realized what happened. It legitimately did not hurt, it was very fast, and it was free with our insurances. It was a great experience. If I can get through it, anyone can. Do recommend. Edit to add: The pharmacist made sure our special bandaids were right side up so they can be read. I thought that was cute.

The lady at the self check section refused to sell because of the Norwegian drivers license. Eventually she asked my DOB and let me buy. Hmmm. I then asked a manager. Here's the relevant excerpt from the relevant statute, mostly concerned with proof of age for purchases: 2025 COLORADO LIQUOR RULES DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division 1 CCR 2023-2, Regulation 47-912. Identification. 1. Producing adequate identification of age, including any verified digital identification, that is valid and unexpired. Any type of driver's license, or identification card issued by any state within the United States, the District of Columbia, any U.S. Territory, or ANY FOREIGN COUNTRY, including Canada or Mexico; (capitalization for emphasis) So, Mr. King Soopers Manager, you and your employee, how should I say it,--- lied to me. I pondered why: Politically motivated?? Small minds? Discrimination? Oh, by the way, I'm Caucasian, became of age in Colo. in the 80's, an American Citizen, 5th generation raised in Colorado. Can management clarify if this is accepted behavior in Kroger Corp.? Or just in Loveland Eagle Drive King Soopers? So, prove me wrong. If I am, then I'll admit my mistake. Until then I've had enough of King Soopers and will do my best to let everyone I can, know. I've been social media from day one. Oh, and, look at other reviews, the words 'lied to me' come up there too.. By the way, the AI you have in self checkout is just awful. This review is for the pharmacy…read more I picked up a prescription yesterday. There's a note in my file about needing a certain generic for this drug because I don't react well to others. I had no reason not to trust that they gave me the right thing but when I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong generic and that this particular generic is one I've had a very bad reaction to (likely it's an additive since generics can vary the additives but not the main ingredients). The pharmacy was closed by the time I got home so I called this morning. I was told they won't take back the unopened package (it comes prepackaged, it's not something they manually count) and I'd have to get a new fill from my provider, which isn't going to happen because I get this medication from an online provider. And I'll have to eat the cost since I pay cash due to my insurance not covering the drug. I also do not have any for my dose tonight. I've been trying literally all day to get them to see reason. I was told by the pharmacy manager that it was on me since I didn't verify that the medication was right. How, exactly, am I supposed to do that when they immediately put it in a paper bag as fast as they can, and won't let you see or handle it, until you pay. I was told since I paid for it they won't do anything about it. The system is rigged to allow them to make mistakes and not fix them. It's disgusting and predatory that they won't do anything to fix it. Go anywhere else for your Rx needs. I'm going to be switching all of my family's medications somewhere else and tell every single person I know to do the same.

We'd completed the consent forms online ahead of time (do recommend, makes the process easier) and we checked in after waiting in line for a little bit. The process was pretty typical but the reason why I'm giving 5 stars is their waiting room! Their waiting room is an actual ROOM! With full walls and a door (which has a passcode lock on it, I presume for securing the area after hours) and their treatment rooms are actual rooms with solid doors and walls too! I've never seen this in another pharmacy and I was really excited about it! The pharmacist was personable and professional. My spouse and I were in and out quickly enough and happy to have additional protection against the flu. We also got 10% off groceries coupons we can use any time until the end of the year which is cool.
