I wish I could give one star. The absolute worst pharmacy in the world !!! Takes days for a prescription, they take a solid 15 mins of hold time to answer the phone; the line is always a solid 30 plus mins long when picking up a prescription. Just insanity. The most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. They treated my 70 year old husband like a Jack azz Having him come to the pharmacy multiple times in one day to pick up a prescription they said they didn't have in stock although text messages said the medication was available for pickup. Last month when he picked up his prescriptions the pharmacist actually told him " he was lucky" she got it ready for him. I would also give negative stars if possible. Rx called in by Dr and when I went to get it ( 4-5 days later) they said they needed to order it. WHAT??? NOONE THOUGHT TO ORDER IT OR CALL ME TO SAY THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT UNTIL I WENT TO PICK IT UP? Definitely pay attention to all the negative reviews. This has to be THE slowest pharmacy in THE WORLD! They all seem to be wandering around and one person is actually working with lines 4-5 deep in both lanes of the drive thru. I waited 30 minutes to get the prescription they had already messed up once. read more

I don't normally have issues with the pharmacy here. I always understand when they are busy and not always friendly because of it but tonight was not ok. Tonight the girl that so called "helped" me was not acceptable!!!! She did not have a name tag on but told me her name was Maddie. She was very dismissive and rude. Had no patience and could careless if I had an issue with anything. I'm still shaking my head thinking about the way she spoke to me. I as a customer should not be talked down to the way this employee spoke to me. Sadly the pharmacist and 2 other employees heard her rudeness towards me and chose to just look away and not say anything. I was the only customer in line inside and outside so they were not preoccupied with other things either. I have been here three times IN ONE DAY and they now are just telling me they don't have my medication after telling me it would be ready in an hour, arriving, and tell me it will take around 20 mins. Everyone is standing around making small talk while they ask me to come inside and I still am not being helped. Pharmacy is the worst ever, Inquires are regarded as annoying, they act like customers are a pest. Ahlam in particular had me go back and forth to 2 registers, then got angry when I wanted to put my phone number in for my points. Every time I try to get my scrip, I get a notification saying their having issues of not able to refill them and when I go there they say yes they can fill it. Then again I got the same message today and tried calling and was on hold for 29 minutes to then get hung up on then when I called back and waited again for 34 minutes the answering machine came on that they were on a meal break. So I waited and called later and waited for 41 mins till the point, I drove there while on hold and walked in to see they were not busy with 8 people working and got attitude from the pharmacy rep saying they were short handed due to Covid. I would of completely understood if they had people in line and it was busy. I will be taking me prescriptions to another pharmacy. I'm so done with this Walgreens. Wow, unbelievable read more

why is it every time I drop a prescription off it is filled wrong or lost. I wish my insurance allowed me to go somewhere else.

We have lived in Lockport longer than this Walgreens has been there. We have always had very good experiences with the pharmacy staff and they have went out of their way to help us many times. We are very pleased to have such a fine store so close by and the rest of this Walgreens store is also very good. Sad to read some of the experiences some others may have had but we have consistently had only good ones. read more

They have been very solid through the 30 or so years at old and new location. Had to pick up script for wife after getting some new insurance info to pharmacy. They stumbled around for about 15 minutes and found 4 scripts that had been filled in the last 2 hours. Pharmacy floor looked organized as a college dorm room full of stoners. Four or five young ladies working and generally handling their business. Only about 2 or 3 customers in line as I sat and waited for the treasure hunt to be completed. Drive up was closed and I guess has been due to "staffing". Thet really weren't that challenged, but I know that 4-6pm window can get dicey. Wondered if corporate gave ok for drive-up to be closed for extended time especially in this new period of covid threat and not to mentioned elderly with mobility issues. Time to look for new pharmacy after 30 years. CVS or Jewel Osco this place sliding quickly maybe corporate will bring in management with some stronger skills. read more

a truly terrible pharmacy. I called in a prescription and got calls, texts, notifications, and emails that it was ready for pickup. I headed to the drive thru lane on my way home from work a few days later so I didn't forget later on. I usually go inside but there were only two cars in line so I didn't think much of it. The wait took 45 minutes but I figured they were just busy so I was patient. I finally get to the window and they ask for my name, and then another 10 minutes later they come back to say they're out of stock of my prescription. HUH?!? i have been getting all these notifications from the last three days that it was ready to be picked up and now magically it's out of stock - now I've wasted almost an hour waiting for something that they never had. I'm lucky I was planning ahead for my birth control and I don't actually need it refilled for another week... I hope this doesn't happen to anyone who really needs their medication!!! read more

The store is great but the woman at the pharmacy had an attitude and horrible customer service the last few times I went to pick up my prescription. I said please and thank you and spoke in a kind tone of voice regardless of her acting like I was ruining her day by making her do her job. I would never be rude to someone that is providing me with service, especially during this pandemic. I just hope she finds her manners. read more

Pharmacy Review: Personnel was kind and courteous in person. I called to see if they had a particular drug to have filled - because it is a controlled substance the pharmacy tech they could not tell me if they had it or not to protect their personnel. When I asked how I could find out so I know which Walgreens to go to-- they hung up on me. I called back and asked again - hung up on! In person though nice --pace was VERY slow - no communication. I told them I would wait for the prescription, that I was fine, sat in the chairs right in front of pharmacy- they never called my name. First off I go the take my son to see dr down the street from this walgreens, figure I would give it some time left dr at 1050am, get there like 1115am go to get the medicine and they said they just go the script it will be 20 mins. So me walk around, go back to the truck probably 30 mins come we go to drive thru to get it the girl at the wi dow was very ride I told her I was picking up. She said it wasn't done yet and it would be 20 min, I ask her how so we were in ther over 20 mins ago and the other girl said 20 mins a d now your telling me an additional 20 mins, she looked at me hard and she said yes and she shook her head at me. I said I have to wait that much longer for his medicine is ridiculous, I get it we all need to help and be patient but this girl qasnt any help she was very incompetent and she like throw my debit card back in the tray at the window. really I will never ever go back to this walgreens again. read more

Very friendly staff and clean store. Visited the clinic there today for the first time and it was worth the wait! They took there time with me and were very friendly and I felt to be in Good hands. The pharmacist went over all my medications and they were friendly and fast! I prefer Walgreens over cvs any day! read more

No matter what time you go to the drive thru, it's slammed. Getting your prescription takes forever. People who have complicated orders go to it instead of going inside. The staff is nice and that's the only reason why it's not getting 1 star. read more

The pharmacy staff is always very helpful when there is some problem with a prescription because of insurance, price, etc. They have even helped me find coupons for better prices. I have a lot of scrips to deal with so problems inevitably occur. This staff has alway been pleasant and professional. I appreciate their positive attitude. I had built up $35 in rewards. Pharmacy will not accept for prescription. Store will only let you use them in increments of $5. So on my $14 purchase I was allowed to only apply $10 and had to pay the balance on a credit card. My belief is that you should be able to use the rewards towards the full purchase. read more

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS AND CHOOSE YOUR PHARMACY WELL. I received a text message from my daughter that she needed a prescription refilled for my grandson for a diuretic that he requires for his heart. Her regular pharmacy, Walgreens in Lockport was out of it, which of course understandably happens. However, our Walgreens contacted another location to see if they have the medication and they proceeded to tell my daughter that they can't refill the prescription because they have another patient that also uses the medication. Since when are medications in the pharmacy earmarked for certain patients??? Now I am not an unreasonable person but I have never heard of something so outrageous in my entire life. Unless the other patient requires this medication right now, I can't understand why they cannot refill my grandson's prescription and order more to fulfill the other patient requirements. . I was employed by Walgreens for 10 years and my husband for 7 years and I cannot believe that they would tolerate something like this. I know the standards of customer service have changed over the years but I would hope that they haven't changed this dramatically. Time to switch pharmacy's.
