One of not the worst pharmacies I have ever experienced. Three different customers within my house…read morehold two different medications. one they refused to administer the drug the other was held for review, now what's interesting the first medication was for dental pain management the doctor gave a physical prescription sent with my wife and they said it was invalid, yet when I brought it to another pharmacy they filled it with out any issues. The second medication was for anti-anxiety medication given the experience my wife had I ensured to avoid any of the issues that happened prior wouldn't happen with those meds I had the doctor submit the prescription from the office they still with held the medication and when I first contacted them they told me it was being held for insurance purposes then it was for instruction purposes then it was because they needed to physically speak with someone from the doctors office in order to release the medication. This Walgreens 1000% racially profile its customers when it comes to medication release. How I know this to be a fact aside from the attitudes they give you, here's where the third person in my household comes in my white brother in law who also had a physical prescription for a controlled drug walked in with a script as a test they refilled it without questioning it yet myself black American and my Latino American wife were screened. This is in 2026. Let me not get started on the long lines the weird lunch shutdowns where they rush customers out. They never have enough staff and the service is terrible. Now I'm sure there will be tons who will say it's a misunderstanding but I was born during the day not yesterday. I am however interested in getting in contact with anyone else who has had similar experiences with this particular pharmacy within the last six months.

I picked it up less than 24 hrs of being notified it was there. Unfortunately, my husband's health took a critical turn in the past week and he will likely now be bed bound. I contacted the store and informed them of this unexpected turn. I was aware of athe 25% re-stocking fee and was prepared to bite the bullet. Unfortunately, I was told that the 10 day window started when I paid for it despite that window being eaten up waiting for delivery. So too bad so sad- they have my money and I have a wheelchair that no one will ever use. Bet they are looking forward to their next 150 years of taking care of customers. Just don't have an extenuating circumstance.

This was the closest to the office ~ about a 3 minute drive. Granted, I was only here to have a prescription filled, but I found the whole experience rather pleasant. I was greeted as I entered the door and spotted the pharmacy. The pharmacy manager, whose name I cannot remember, quickly came to the window, asked me all the appropriate questions and said it would be about a 20 minute wait. That's fine, I brought reading material. No sooner did I sit down, take a photo, then my name was called. I hadn't even had time to put my phone away. They accepted the coupon and explained how, if need be, I could go about transferring my Rx to a closer CVS. If needed, I might even call my refill into this pharmacy because everything went so smoothly. Yay, I'm a fan.

PAINKILLER OTC This…read moreWalgreens is likely to exacerbate the headache you (probably) already have. My wife chose this drugstore as our primary pharmacy, mainly because it's convenient for us on Lily Cache in Bolingbrook (as a bonus, there's a Buona Beef directly across Weber Rd, so I usually dip in for a sandwich after picking up her prescription). I'd estimate one of us stops here every 3 weeks, so we're fairly frequent flyers. We recently encountered an issue where they processed my wife's prescription incorrectly. Instead of giving her 90 pills for 30 days (@3/day), they gave her 30 pills total believing it to be 1/day. I have to think there are instructions clearly printed on the label--because y'know, MEDICINE--so someone working here wasn't paying attention. After bouncing back and forth with phonecalls, one woman eventually apologized for the oversight of a coworker and vowed to fix it, which they did. Over the last few months my wife's made some friends over in pharmacy pickup, and they've been kind to her and helpful for the most part (excluding the one lady who bungled the 'scrip). I, on the other hand, am given a chilly reception any time I walk in. The associates at checkout barely engage in eye contact or return pleasant small talk, hardly ever doling out a 'thanks' or 'have a nice day'. On the last trip, the guy bagged my snacks and rang me up without saying a word. I might as well be a leper. * TL;DR * Pickup ya meds, grab a snack, and bounce. There's not much else here worth lingering for. It's a shame this Walgreens doesn't have a liquor aisle (wah wah), since a wall fridge with cold beer would've definitely bumped them up a star, at least. The customer service has been generally poor across 5-10 visits; messing up an important prescription for medication seals their lamentable fate.

Sophia needs customer service training NOW If a patient is…read morecalling for their medications, clearly they need their medication. To be rude, snarky and disgusting in the morning because you all failed to order the correct quantity and follow up on any additional quantities that were needing to be ordered is not the fault of the patient. Your job is to order the drugs as needed Ensure that you have enough to fill your orders and update the system so that way your patient can receive them. That is not what is happening that is not acceptable. No one should have to wait 2+ weeks to receive medication. If there was an issue with the manufacturers distribution, some form of communication should've been relate to the patient or you all should've been working with. Your local network of stores to obtain the additional quantities needed to fill these orders. Especially for a restrictive drug. To be so disregarding of the patient's need for their medication and the length of time waiting for medication is just disgusting. If Sophia cannot provide the level of service that is expected from a Walgreens associate then maybe she should not be one.
