Christmas night after a big blowup with extended family and empty stomachs we were headed to a…read morehotel but had nothing to eat. With two little boys we were desperate to find something to eat but being Christmas night, everything was closed. Thanks God this CVS was open! We arrived 15 minutes before closing and the cashiers greeted us with warm smiles and wished us a merry Christmas - which I thought was especially cool given I could see they were not of the same faith. The snack selection at this place is absolutely insane! It is what I always thought a snack selection could be. Literally everything you could think of... and not just candy and chips. I'm talking 20 different kinds of nuts, just as many differnt beef jerkeys - multiple brands, dried fruits, and all sort of unique items like chocolate covered edemame, granola bites... Employee answered "Yo!?" and hastily walked away after giving an answer that led to customer walking out. I went to the only option to pay, self serve as I had an age restricted item. Waited, no one came for a while. Same employee finally came up, without an acknowledgment of my existence reached around my face, pressed something and took off. I had had a question which went unanswered. Tonight I went to the feedback site and a credit card was required to verify my identity. Hell no! Done with this creepy location which doesn't show up on GPS even though it is not new. CVS step it up 10 notches.

Went to the drive-thru pharmacy on 10/21/15, got waited on immediately (unlike my local Walgreens where I'm waiting forever) and was on my way. The main reason for my review is my 2nd visit to the store on 10/30/15. I needed some cute eyelashes to go with my Halloween costume. I walked in and proceeded to the aisle where the eyelashes were. While looking, I became confused as to which ones included glue and which ones didn't. A female employee came over to me and asked me if I needed help which I desperately did. I am hoping that the manager of this store reads this review and is able to tell from the receipt that I've included who this person is as she rang up my items also. This woman was a pure ANGEL who deserves recognition. She was friendly first of all and took a lot of time helping me figure out which eyelashes were which. She also helped me find some eyelashes in another section specifically for Halloween. She was so NICE!!! And I was so appreciative that she was there to help me. I went to the Take Care Clinic on Monday. Got there at 9:45am was not seen until 11:30. Which I get…read moreit they were swamped and understaffed. Understandable. What was not understandable was the attitude form the front desk lady. This was not the first time dealing with her and the attitude. There was an issue with entering my insurance in the iPad so I had to go to the desk when she called me- and I started to tell her I had a "digital copy of my insurance card or ..." and she rolled her eyes and stormed off before I could finished telling her I had the physical card and wanted to know which would be easier for her. When she came back and demanded my phone for the card I handed her the physical card. She entered the info complained that I messed it up on the iPad then told me to sit back down. Once I was finally seen by the Dr. Kristen, The front desk lady kept unlocking the door to interrupt the appointment. At one point it was simply to grab her monster energy drink from the fridge. Really that couldn't wait? Overall I was not the only one in the waiting room to comment on her terrible attitude. Kristen Nobel, was wonderful on the other hand. Such a shame her partner is so awful.

If it is not in stock, they won't bother telling me; they'll just say my description is being worked on. If I call the stores, I get computerized menus, and they disconnect me when I try to dial out to the operator. Not at the Midlothian location, though. These folks are always really helpful, especially now, when the meds I take are harder to get (due to manufacturer shortages). In all seriousness, getting my descriptions filled can be anxiety-provoking, but not at the Midlo location. And look, I hate to add this, but the women working here have an A+ cleavage game. I typically don't notice things like that--I'm a good person, a moral person, and even the youth gang I joined as a kid (we ransacked Kendall County, Illinois--and we got away with our crimes!) was a God-oriented (actually, I should have written "god-oriented," as we worshipped Lil Kaos, the pagan god of mayhem and punching people in the groin) gang. We spread violence and "goodness" (of a form) in equal measure. Anyway, I'm a good person, so I usually don't notice this sort of stuff. Suffice it to say that this is the only Walgreen's where I go inside to pick up my descriptions. And I ain't exactly hard on the eyes, neither, so the workers are getting something out of it, too, but it's still a thrill for me.

This call was because they asked me to confirm by phone something I had already told them twice, once through their messaging system and then verbally by phone yesterday. Due to their poor customer service, I transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy about two years ago, but this one is not available most places so I have to stick with Walgreens for it. I long for the mom and pop pharmacies of yesteryear where the customer mattered. Be smart--fill your prescriptions elsewhere.
