This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst . Lemont needs to get on the ball. If you didn't call to see if your prescription is ready they would never fill it !!! Do not get photos printed here. I have done so a few times with poor quality results every time. My most recent time I had 3 rolls of film developed. The final photos, ruined. They do not return the negatives,which is fine, but not if they developed photos are ruined. Then, they would only refund the photos that were completely dark vs just slightly over exposed. Regardless, all my photos were ruined and they only refunded me about 30%. read more

They have told me numerous times my medication will be there but it always goes to someone else and they don't have enough. They tell you they will help and the phone goes dead. I went through the drive thru lanes to pick up my medication and the tech at the window never gave me my card back. I didn't get a receipt, just the medication. It took 5 minutes before I noticed and rush back to see if she forgot it on the counter of something and everyone there swears up and down they stapled it in an envelope onto the medication with the receipt, which I never got. So in like 7 minutes they lost my card and are acting like I'm a liar. It only went from the drop box to my passenger seat and I've torn up my entire car looking for it. Pharmacy is the worst. Posted this picture which shows my 37 minute phone call JUST to try and get it filled because my doctor sends it electronically. No matter what day or time I call, it is 30+ minutes just to talk to someone at a fricken call center and then another 10 minutes for the pharmacy and they tell me you'll have to repeat this information after I transfer you, okay so why did I bother to tell you if you cannot help me? So frustrating and so annoying to have to deal with this month after month. I have finally had enough and I will absolutely be moving all of my households prescriptions to a different pharmacy like CVS or meijer. Unapologetic and zero sense of urgency when Rx is needed and it's not in stock. Text message every day saying it is expected soon. Now I need the medication and still not in stock, other local Walgreens don't have it either. I understand suppliers and manufacturers are struggling. How about a notice that I need to work on alternatives with my doctor a few days early. You are my local pharmacy and you helped fail me. This particular Rx requires an increasing dosage over time, critical I maintain schedule. My child also requires a drug that Walgreens never has in stock and they will not admit it will never be in stock. Just keep telling us they will call when it comes in, we have to call others like Osco and CVS to find that Rx. Store portion is fine but they can't seem to keep the boxed Chardonnay wine in stock. read more

OMG- tried ordering a photo gift, each time I received a confirmation email that my order was received, then a few hours later it was cancelled by the store. This happened 4 times in a row from 9am to 6pm - calling doesn't help as they all feign ignorance even the so called Manager. What a waste of my time. read more

Needed a quick (in 30-60) refill for a lost Albuterol inhaler. Online refill portal showed three and a half hours, so I decided to call. I explained the situation to the person on the phone, and asked how quickly they could fill it. They told me, no kidding, a minimum of 40 hrs (day and a half). For an Albuterol refill. This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. I have never been asked before to wait two hours for a refill, after I wait in line at the pharmacy for 20 minutes because nobody is at the counter. All these horrible reviews about the pharmacy! I'll add my experience here as well, even though it seems like corporate doesn't care..... I went to pick up my meds here this past Thursday, February 4th. Myself and two other customers were at the pharmacy counter. I could see and hear the pharmacist and the two techs talking in the back room about the Super Bowl. I called out, "Excuse me! Can you help us please?" What I would like to know is why this particular store run s out of items but, REFUSE to restock them?! I live miles away near 95th Ashland, but I work much further away. I stopped shopping at the Walgreen on 95th because, they ALSO, charged twice as much for items they rarely had. Then, I discovered the store on 127th street. PERFECT! They carried so many things I buy, including "blu products, then just like that, all the things I drove there for they STOPPED re stocking! Horrible customer service. I called and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up. I called back and they put me in 30 minute hold and then hung up again. The wait time here is always horrific, the staff is indifferent and despite numerous calls I've made the corporate headquarters the problems have never been addressed. My family and I've been lifelong Walgreens customers. I've had enough and I'm transferring all my prescriptions to CVS. I hope they can do a better job. I love Walgreens SO MUCH. It's the most convenient store ever. Having said that, it must be brought to your attention that this particular Walgreens is difficult. I've had wonderful encounters with all of the staff until this evening. My husband and I went in to buy another bottle of wine that we purchased earlier this week (it was pretty delicious) and we were carded by a manager named Andre. We have out of state IDs and were denied the ability to buy a bottle of wine because my husbands ID "felt like paper". He literally asked if we had a passport to prove our ages. Yeah, we carry our passports in our pockets. Here ya go...? Hmm... So a word to the wise: if you're going to Walgreens to buy a bottle of wine with your out of state ID and Andre is working, take your passport or he will not believe that you are older than 21. Other than this bro-chacho, this Walgreens has some pretty outstanding service. read more

This is by far the worst Walgreens I've been too . Been coming for 7 yrs because it is 7 blocks from my house. Today is my last time. Prescriptions are not filled even when you show up hours after they tell you to come. Now that we have Covid you would think they are clean. This place is awful. But it is closest to my house. If you have over 1 hour to kill to wait on your meds this is the pharmacy for you. When you are finally acknowledged they will tell you be with you in a minute what that really means is that I just going to continue doing whatever it is that I was doing and joke about it like Your not even there. I'm very tech savvy so I use the app to renew my prescription and I received a notification saying it was ready but to my surprise when I came in they said that it was not ready and asked if I could wait for 15 minutes while they prepare the medication. While I have two children under the age of two in my car so this is extremely inconvenient have to return later to see if the medication is ready. this little adventure only took over an hour let's see how long it will be when I come to pick it up read more

This Walgreen's is the worst ever... I have called them on a number of occasions and was put on hold by the call center then waited over 20 minuets and hung up and drove there and waited in line. I have even driven there on hold and waited in line for service all while never being answered on the phone. When i brought this up to the person helping me they said preach to the choir. The worst pharmacy to deal with! Any review with four or five stars are not for the pharmacy. Yes, the store is clean and the non-pharmacy staff is friendly............try dealing with the pharmacy. Supposedly the prescriptions are on auto refill, meaning you receive a call letting you know your prescriptions are ready. Have NOT received a call in a looong time, so I have to call. But when you call the Lemont location they are maybe too busy to answer calls or just don't care about answering so you get connected to a "call center" which is absolutely no help whatsoever! They have yet to provide me with an answer to my question or they have no idea what you're talking about. When I ask if the Lemont location (only because Lemont doesn't answer) has a certain medication in stock because it's been on back order forever they can't provide me with an answer or they ask me to repeat the name three times and for the spelling. So they put you on hold for twenty minutes and then disconnect! Very frustrating dealing with Walgreen's but I have no choice only because of my insurance, Walgreen's is on the list of "preferred pharmacy". I don't get how at Walgreen's medication can be on back-order for months but other pharmacies have ample stock. And another thing....... say the dose is 120mg. they won't tell you to do two 60's until I ask if they have 60mg. in stock and they're like......oh yeah, duh! By the time they contact your physician about substituting and that substitution may cost three times more, I get the prescription transferred to another pharmacy when this happens. I may pay more, because of the preferred pharmacy BS because it's saving me the aggravation. read more

The pharmacy delivers outstanding customer service on a consistent basis. Whether it's taking the time to answer questions or most recently our prescription was extremely expensive and the pharmacist / staff worked with our physician to reduce the cost considerably. I used to go here all the time. The front cashier is so ignorant a rude. I was in the store and heard the woman yell at a girl who was in line. Apparently there was a dispute outside of the store and I think it is extremely unprofessional to bring it to your workplace. I do not think that I will be returning. read more

The pharmacy Drive-Thru in Lemont, IL is the absolute worst. Pack a meal if you're going to pick up a prescription using the Drive-Thru. (Inside pickup is just as bad). Walgreens needs to add another person OR TWO to their pharmacy department. The wait is unbelievably long and annoying. I'm going to call my insurance company to see if they will switch me to CVS for my scripts. I've never had a problem with such disgustingly long waits at CVS. read more

When you say you close at midnight don't close the store earlier I got to the store at 11:50 pm to pick up some cold medicine for my sick child the ignorant manager looked at me as I was walking up locked the door and walked away. I know it was 10 minutes before you close but really close when the sign says closed don't look at me in a pair of shorts and sandles rushing towards the door and walk away great job hope that manager had the same Delima as I do and had to drive 2 towns away to get there sick child medicine. I am a kidney transplant patient, who has been on dialysis for the past 6 years and always gave the Lemont, IL Walgreens my VERY expensive medication orders. I ordered the script 800 mg Renvela, 1350 tabs on December 30, 2014 but today Robin in the Pharmacy is telling me my co-pay is $3300.00...WTF????.... walgreens tried to put thru to my insurance today??/..A new benefit year...Robin lied to me saying that my insurance denied the claim on 12/30, then she lied once again saying it was too soonand I confirmed twice with bc/bs that was a lie. I then spoke to another person at Walgreens who then tells me it was because they had to speak to my dr about another script, so this was why, then she tried to make an excuse saying my script is a year old and......, it is amazing because when I ordered online, it said I had valid scripts on Walgreens.com and I even called because I knew the clock was ticking before year end...I am a Federal employee who pays many thousands of $$ to Walgreens, the Lemont ph is 630-257-9250.....The lies are totally inexcusable at any employee level but this one after another then excuse after excuse for these peoples mistakes......I want answers....I never even use Facebook anymore but had to post this read more
