Takes more than a week to get my refill but they won't let you requested a few days earlier. Often I miss my next dose. When I ask a question the techs will give me different answers. This Walgreens is just not reliable and the majority of the staff is rude. There are some great people but few and far between. read more

This 5 star review is for Rana & ONLY Rana. She is truly a gift from God. The other workers at the pharmacy were incompetent & kept refusing to use the coupon I had for my father's medicine & kept trying to send me off without it. This medicine was CRITICAL for my father & without it he would have died. They did not care not one bit & would not put in the work to help me get it otherwise it would have cost me 5 thousand dollars that we did not have. He had a major heart attack in his main artery which was a miracle he survived it at all so for them to give me such a hard time & want to be lazy to do their job was incredibly disgusting. Rana however saw the pain in our eyes while trying to figure it out & she FORCED the other pharmacist to do it correctly as she noticed he kept putting in the wrong numbers, her shift was actually over for the day but she did not leave until she watched him do it successfully. She is honestly the most wonderful human I've witnessed in a while. She deserves the world, a raise, a promotion etc. May God bless her for eternity. I will never go there again. My prescription was sent to them 3:30 pm on a Thursday and after still wasn't filled on my "THIRD" visit on Monday at 11:00am. I was treated rudely by incompetent staff. Horrible customer service.The pharmacist Francine was a total passive aggressive condescending B I T C H . After five days they tell me they weren't filled because they are maintenance drugs and are filled off site and delivered to them. Alex Pak is the pharmacy manager who runs this S H I T S H O W !. You literally have to go in and ask to have your prescription filled or it is treated as a maintenance drug. They don't want to do their job and belittle the customer at the same time. Corporate should be monitoring this clown show. If there were negative stars to give they would be getting them. read more

I have used other Walgreens around the area from Joliet to out of state locations but this one takes the prize for the WORST. They don't start filling prescriptions even if the Dr calls it in Days before you try to pick it up. Consistently providing the worst client experience!!! read more

Wow. Just seems super dysfunctional at the pharmacy. One of the girls behind the counter was screaming and cursing at the other workers to answer the f-ing phone and nobody else heard a phone ring (neither did i). Another girl was really rude to one of the older customers who thought she had a pick up and just refused to help her or offer any alternatives (maybe it's at another store, etc). I would have hoped as we moved out of the pandemic the overall pharmacy service would have improved at this location, along with the customer service level.....it absolutely HAS NOT! The amount of time to fill a script is a good 8-12+ hours and don't bother dropping off and "waiting". The drive thru line gets obnoxious, inside you'll stand in line for 30+ minutes and drive through you'll sit for at least 45+ minutes. This location being a 24 hour location needs MORE STAFF and 2 pharmacists for the amount that goes through! If I need medication quickly (sick visit), I'll send to Osco and pay out of pocket (insurance only covers Walgreens and mail in)! Kindness matters, Walgreens needs to increase the pay of its pharmacy employees to increase the hiring pool and help with staffing!! Customer service training as well! read more

I hate to be this guy, but this is just absolutely too ridiculous not to post. I pull into the drive thru of this Walgreens without any visible signage to allow a customer to know that the drive thru is closed for prescription pickup until pulling up to the window and reading it on the window. The only problem is, the drive thru could be a 45minute to 1 plus wait due to covid testing, yet somehow it is acceptable for a customer to wait that length of time just to find out that they can't get prescription anyways. Anyways, I pulled into drive they, the second available spot, so further from the window not thinking I had to actively look for signage and I see no one in sight. I try to use the call option on the kiosk to get a pharmacists attention(before realizing the drive thru is closed) and I am met with a ear piercing ringing that is probably high enough pitched and loud enough to give someone ear damage. After waiting for about 30 seconds to this ringing, I finally notice a random, not obvious sign on drive thru window stating that all prescriptions must be picked up inside. Okay, no problem. I go inside and proceed to stand in line for about 30 minutes. All of the pharmacists and employees handing out prescriptions look upset and stressed, probably due to understaffing, so I try not to get too upset about the long wait as it is not their fault. This is what upset me: After waiting 30 minutes to pickup a prescription, I am met with an employee/pharmacist (not giving names) who is blatantly annoyed to be doing her job and is just not wanting to deal with anybody. I try to inform her as politely as possible that when going through the drive thru that clicking the call button starts an ear piercing feedback noise through the speaker. The response I get is something along the lines of, "Well the drive thru is closed and we have a sign up saying that it is closed." I respond with, "That is fine, I just wanted to let you know that the ear piercing noise is so loud and deafening that I could see where it may lead to a lawsuit should the wrong customer go through and experience that." I get a snobby response of something like, "Well, then they can sue us. Not my problem." I would have let this whole dilemma go if it wasn't for the impoliteness I received when all I was merely trying to do was inform them of what happened. I was not being mean or anything of the sorts, but somehow was still met with such rudeness that it made me leave feeling like I will never allow my wife or myself send another prescription to be filled at this location. I think some customer service training, and perhaps not stretching the employees thin could go a long way for this particular Walgreens location. My goal is not to say every employee is rude, but one employee ruined it for the rest as I would like to never deal with such disrespectful employee ever again, especially when I kept my cool and was only trying to give insight on a possibly bad future situation. read more

Absolutley terrible pharmacy. We always use CVS because they are awesome however tonight we needed a 24 hour pharmacy because my 4 yr old has strep throat and was in a ton of pain. they didn't fill the prescription in over an hour from when the doctor sent it over they argued they couldn't use my blue cross and blue shield insurance for the prescription we finally just said we would pay full price for it and then they told us ok great come back in 45 mins because we are going on lunch. All this while my toddler is crying in the backseat because his throat hurts. I would never use them again. I would rather drive to another town to find something else. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy ever. I waited in the drive up window 30 minutes waiting for them to even acknowledge me. There was only one girl there helping someone at the window that took over 30 minutes. That person should have went inside to get the prescription filled. My prescription was already ready all I had to do was pick it up. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. The girl had NO customer service at all. DId not even mention to me "I will be with you shortly". NOTHING. Not only do they not have prescriptions ready on time, they charge significantly more than Osco on all of their prescriptions. We have had insurance issues for the past couple months, so had to pay OOP for one of them. They charge $300. My dr gave me a good RX coupon, but unfortunately only for Osco. It shows on there that the retail cost is only $200 without insurance, but Walgreens marks up to over $300. With good rx, I could get my script for $65. At Walgreens with good rx, it's still over $200. Because it's an electronic script, it can't easily be transferred. Not only are their medication prices ridiculous, they have no organization in their pharmacy at all. I'll get a message saying my prescription is ready for pick up, but then get there and have to come back again and hour and a half later. Most of the staff are rude and the drive through is rarely open. It's not only this location either. Our other local Walgreens is also horrible. read more

This Walgreens is has taken care of all of my family's prescriptions ever since we moved to New Lenox almost a decade ago. I have never once had an issue, and the few times there has been some sort of hold up with getting a medication, they have always proactively called me to find the fastest resolution! read more

Every experience is literally awful, pharmacy never has anything in stock and they simply don't care.

Drive thu is for Covid testing only. There is an express window but even if you paid ahead you have have to wait in the main line that goes half way around the store. Also, using express pay ended up taking me longer because they were unable to scan the barcode and I had to have everything rescanned at another register. There was a customer at the counter not wearing a mask and no one said anything. Employees were kind of friendly so I'll give them that. I'm transferring all my prescriptions and never going back here. read more

I called prior to going in to ask if they were still taking flu shots. The lady on the phone said just check online and I said I did. She said well you know more than I do and why waste my time. Mind you I have a baby and other time constraints. She simply hung up. I went to my scheduled appointment for the flu shot. Waited over an hr and after getting the shot I asked to talk to the manager. The manager simply excused the workers behavior due to labor shortage. I work too and we are understaffed but I still have to my job. The fact that the manager Trisha didn't care speaks volumes to what is allowed. read more

I'm never coming to this Walgreens ever again. This is not the first time that they fill a prescription for my one-year-old and three-year-old and don't flavor it. Amoxicillin was always flavored without me having to request it especially for children! Not only that but the medicine always comes in a bottle twice the size along with a syringe that does not fit the bottle. It's frustrating and my kids are not taking their antibiotic because it's disgusting! read more

This is a review for the pharmacy. There are some pharmacy staff who actually care at this location, but I have dealt with at least 3 who do not care: #1 You will get a 30 day prescription when it has been written for 90 days. #2 You will get 3 prescriptions instead of the 4 that were ordered then you have to come back again. #3 You may never get your prescription without going there 2 or 3 times to check on it. read more

Pharmacy has the worst service ever. If you take Adderall don't bother filling it here, they never have it in stock. They delay my prescription constantly and don't care about the withdrawal symptoms. Constantly mess up my insurance. Take your business literally anywhere else. read more

The wait is ridiculous even if there is no one before you I count 5 or 6 people working but they only have on register going it is always at least a 15 minute wait. Then they are so careless they once have me the wrong medication I caught the error and the "pharmacy tech" was rude when I told her I guess no apology needed. If you hail from the Chicagoland area you gotta stay loyal to Walgreens. I've been a regular here since they were sharing a building with the now defunct Eagle Grocery Store...on with the review. The distinction of this store is the 24/7 hours of the pharmacy. Service is prompt and I've witnessed the staff help some customers middle through prescription insurance woes. (Why am I always stuck behind these people?) Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. Would have given zero stars if possible. Worst photo department I've ever dealt with. Strike one happened 3 weeks ago when they lost my photo order of over 100 photos for a classroom project. Strike two happened last week when I ordered a photo for my son to bring to school and they were promised by 7:30pm. I was running errands and stopped at 7:45pm and was told the machine was down and they weren't sure when they would be done. The order wasn't filled until the next day. No email was sent to say their machine wasn't functioning and that they could fulfill the order in time. Strike three happened today. We ordered Christmas cards. My husband went to pick them up and they had accidentally printed an extra set. He asked what the 3rd box was for and she said you could purchase these extra cards or she would throw them away. He said well if you are going to just throw them away I'll take them. You wouldn't make money either way. She said she would not give him the accidentally printed extra set of cards. When he came home to tell me this I reminded him that our address was printed on the cards (wanted to let friends and family know of our new address) and I didn't was that information along with our names and pictures just thrown in the trash. I then called and spoke with the "manager" and she said she would shred them and got off the phone without even asking my name. My husband drove up there immediately after and they claimed the cards were already "chopped up". Looooong story short, take your photo needs elsewhere! read more

if there were negative stars, I would choose negative 2 stars. If you have a choice, stay away from their pharmacy. Extremely long wait after calling to make sure they have my contact information to let me know when the prescription is ready. I called hours later again, told it is ready for pick up, and since they had two profiles for me they could not contact me. My phone number is the same on each profile. I asked them to delete the old profile so this doesn't happen again. They told me they couldn't; in other words I will NEVER be contacted when my prescription is ready in the future. They just lost all future business from me, my family, and network. They don't care about that, but at least I won't have to suffer their incompetence. read more
