Always so slow. Staff in the store can't care less about doing their jobs. The pharmacy is always short on staff.

Stopped in here to pick up some stuff before we headed back to the strip, since it would be way cheaper. The location was very clean. The person who checked us out was so friendly! She chatted with us and we requested a couple of extra bags and she happily obliged. My only complaint is that they were low on stock. For example I wanted a bottle of water and they only had 1 brand and the rest of the fridge was empty. We encountered that with a few things throughout the store. read more

Stopped in looking for a specific hair gel and deodorant. I couldn't find either here. The staff wasn't friendly AT ALL, but I don't expect much from people anymore. The same unfriendly lady from earlier ended up being my cashier. Great!!! She didn't speak. She just rung me up and I paid. I left and immediately turned back around to return the hair gel because I found out that Target across the street had the gel I was looking for. It was weird that she was friendlier when I made my return than she was when I was first in the store. Maybe she was having a bad day?? Don't know. I recommend going here if you need something quick. The pharmacy is horrific. Try to call and they will put you on hold, then eventually hang up. Walgreens in general are gatekeepers of certain medications and will not dispense if you have a prescription and will say they are on "backorder." Even though, not on backorder. I have had to wait weeks, transferring to other Walgreens, only to get cancelled. The pharmacist are all overworked and super busy. I can hardly blame them for not answering the phone or doing what they need to do. The drive thru line in always full and there are always long lines inside the store. I will no longer use them for my prescriptions as I am so over their politics. In regards to the store, it isn't too bad. They have what is needed most of the time. read more

I've been using walgreen pharmacy blue diamond and durango for quite sometime because its close to home but today will be my last day going to this location, its so frustrating when they told me my husband meds is not covered by our medical insurance when in fact he has 2 medical insurance ,culinary health fund and medicare, that pharmacist RANDY wants me to pay over $400 and he wants me to call culinary...c'mon its sunday ..broaden your horizon...he was telling me my husband birthdate is wrong when last week I just pick up some of his medicine...its you guys system Or you guys are lazy to help people..they don't care about peoples health..unreliable very bad service read more

I can't believe Walgreens is always keep on running out of medicine. What's even more frustrating is that when they refer me to other Walgreens they can't provide it. Today is the last day of my medicine and they said it will arrive after 2 business days. So no medicine for me for 5 days. No urgency, no accountability. This is not just inconvenient - it's dangerous. It's like they don't care about people's. health anymore. I went here recently for my booster shot (the process online to set up an appt was easy; I also received emails to remind me). I got there early because I wasn't sure exactly where it was located. The parking lot was full. There were also cars at the drive-through pharmacy. Inside there were a few customers shopping but inside at Pharmacy, there were lots of people there. There was a long line. I was seated at the waiting area, which had about ten seats. There were three people inside the Pharmacy managing the long line and drive-through. Check-in was easy, I had my ID, my insurance card, and vaccination card. ((TIP: bring in your original vaccination card so the clerk can fill it out.)) I was waiting for about ten to fifteen minutes. I went into a private room for my shot. The clerk was nice and I asked her a few questions. (I was a little nervous about the side effects.) I was able to leave because the waiting area started to get congested. It's clean. No issues. Busy place. read more

I normally have a good experience with the Walgreens pharmacy on Cactus and Southern Highlands, besides the extremely long lines in the drive thru or inside. However, last evening I went to pickup my high blood pressure medication, mind you have been taking it for the better part of 15 years. The young lady that assisted me was very rude in the beginning!!!! She retrieved my medication and preceded to ask for $48 dollars. I politely asked her to make sure it went through my insurance company ( mind you I have had the same insurance company for almost 20 years and on the medication 15 yrs.) She very rudely told me my insurance would not cover the medication and she didn't know why just call them! I politely ask if she could double check ? She stated, " I can use a discount card or you can call your insurance." Normal I would have accepted her response, but her poor customer service really rubbed me the wrong way. The pharmacist heard the conversation and stepped in to assist me. He informed me that my medication is covered by my insurance, I was two days early and he would reset the system to text me in two days. I thanked the pharmacist for his assistance and shared his staff need some sensitivity training. read more

This pharmacy is the worst in Las Vegas. They are staffed by impatient & incompetent trash. Had a prescription refilled on a Friday, didn't get filled until the following Friday. Went in on that Tuesday, "still not ready" then again on Thursday, "still not ready". They are slow, don't care about anything. they get off on watching the line grow as they play with their butts behind the plex glass. Dont matter who 'helps', the manager hired all her immigrant non English speaking cousins to work back there with her. She loves the power and hates to refill your meds. She is the best at being The worst pharmacy manager in Nevada. It is the worst pharmacy in vegas hands down and this location is in the nice part of town but you'd think you were getting your meds in war torn Iraq. They should all be fired. Thank god I'm having all my meds sent to the one on cactus. The blue diamond and Decatur pharmacists remind me of tits on a bill... useless. read more

Went to ER on Monday, they sent prescription to here. This was @ 10 am. Said it be ready that afternoon. Called them, not ready. Called next day, still not ready! Called on Wednesday, it's now ready but no call from them. These were pain meds, had to use OTC pain killers until scrip ready. read more

This Walgreens Pharmacy is terrible! I had scheduled my Covid booster and flu shot online. I showed up 15 minutes prior as requested. The line to check in for vaccines is closed. I had to stand in the line for medication. The guy in front of me was having his own terrible issues that required them to call other locations. I went to the consultation window at my scheduled time. The pharmacist didn't care. She told me to wait in the medicine line. I finally got to the window. The tech told me to fill out my paperwork in the app. My name was finally called. Guess who was administering the shot? The same lady that didn't care. So she gives me the Covid booster and says ok you're good to go. I said what about my flu shot? She said it was my responsibility to tell the tech even though I signed up online. Now I'm waiting for the flu shot from the same lady. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!!! The store itself is clean. Hence the two stars. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute worst Pharmacy to deal with in Vegas. Continually messing things up, completely incompetent staff. Make up bullshit answers to questions, everyone tells you something different. I was charged for scripts that were covered by my insurance, consistently not charged correctly for items, and just in general told different things by staff. When you try to call they also just hang up over and over so you have to drive back and still deal with their bs. Been having issues for months and am now going elsewhere. Horribly not efficient and not friendly pharmacy. There are at least 5 staff here, including manager Skyler, chatting and 6 people are waiting on seats along with a long line. This is just a review of the photo department. I'm not sure where the process changes need to be made - with the system or with the staff upon receiving orders. I ordered a poster board for pick-up and was notified via call at the time of pick-up that their poster boarding printing machine was not working. I put in the order about 45 minutes beforehand. Would've been nice to know at that time that my order was going to be canceled. So again, not sure if corporate can fix this process, especially since they highly promote 'same day pick-up' with their photo department. TIP - Put in your order and then call the store to make sure their printers are working. read more

At the pharmacy Rovic was so helpful and patient. I needed additional help processing a prescription for a long overseas trip and it required some extra time and he helped me get the best price and then he also helped me with some supplements that I needed as well. I literally just got my covid vaccine here and the pharmacist intern Daisy definitely didn't know how to administer a shot. After she injected my arm with the vaccine... a good amount somehow spilled all over my arm versus going inside my arm. They can't even guarantee if I actually received the vaccine and are counting on whether my arm will be sore... well ding dong.. my arm will be sore because i got an intramuscular injection ... DUH ! Aside from that ... she continues to explain (or in other words... make up excuses) on how the syringe was a new product blah blah blah and how she has given 6 shots prior to me... so if that was the truth how did that happen if I'm your #7 vaccination of the day?!? && I like that when I finally told her that I am an RN how it was a bad thing Yah whatever. 5/2016 HAPPY! We hit this sale just right!! Going in New Years Eve never expected anything left from Christmas! 70% off and there was quite a bit to pick from yet!! What a nice savings! We have been here many times in the past long before becoming a Yelper. It's weird to write a review of the worst pharmacy I've ever been to because I have never had that thought of an establishment. This pharmacy puts you on hold for 20 minutes. They never pick up the phone they just put you back on hold. They don't say can you give me a couple minutes? It's absolute crickets. I fill my prescriptions at this Walgreens and shop a few times a week and it's always been fine, until today... I went to the drive up window to pick up my prescriptions and told the pharmacist "Brandon" my last name and offered my ID and told him I was picking up two his reply was "Huh" so I told him again and he interrupted me again saying "spell the name" I started spelling my name and was interrupted me again asking my address, I then offered my ID again and ask what was the issue and that I have two prescriptions and we started the questions again? Worst pharmacy drive thru I've ever used. Numerous trip to use the drive thru pharmacy and have had to wait 30+ minutes to be helped. I understand being busy but 30 minutes wait is unacceptable. Then I an told when I get to the window that my prescription wasn't ready and to come inside and when I get inside they would have it. The 2 mins it takes for me to get inside would fix everything right. No when I arrived inside they told me to once again wait. Why do you tell people a time that something will be ready if it takes you hours longer to fulfill. I would not recommend using this pharmacy or walgreens for any of your needs. Full disclosure. I scheduled a flu shot for what I thought was this Walgreens and it was another Walgreens on Blue Diamond. So I was at the wrong store. That being said the customer service at this Walgreens was terrible. When I showed up there was nobody waiting on customers at the pharmacy, although there were several people behind the counter. When one tech finally looked up he asked if I had been helped. I said no. He said, "well somebody will be with you shortly." How about you being with me now dude? And it wasn't shortly since none of the folks behind the counter were actually looking in the direction of the customer service windows. When finally a tech did wait on me they discovered that I was at the wrong store. Now this store had one person waiting for a shot and nobody waiting on prescriptions. Seems like a simple solution of saying "well since you're here and we're not busy we can take care of you." They wouldn't take me as a walk in since there's a new "mandate" (what mandate? Is it from Sisolak? Fauci? The CDC? Or corporate?). She wouldn't simply make an appointment for me then and there (again there was almost NOBODY waiting for anything at this pharmacy). So I had to rush to the other store, which was mobbed. Luckily they still got me in and out in a relatively short time. But there was no good reason for this Walgreens to not take care of me.
