No one speaks understandable English. No one calls the doctor for RX clarification but will patently lie and claim they did when the doctor's office calls seeking a reason for withholding a script for a patient. No one does math properly. No one reads or understands expiration dates on the medications. No one follows through for the patients who have waited WEEKS for a prescription. I cannot recommend this pharmacy. Try Solutions Specialty instead. read more

My prescription was sent by my provider on March 6. Eleven days later, it still had not been filled. When the pharmacy finally contacted me, it was to request payment before processing could even begin, and I was then told fulfillment would still take another 3 business days. This is not a one-time communication problem. On a previous order, the pharmacy was "out" of the supplies required to use the medication and advised me to look on Amazon myself. That is not an acceptable solution from a pharmacy that is supposed to be managing patient care responsibly. The larger issue here is operational: poor communication, delayed processing, and no ownership when things go wrong. The call center was frustrating to deal with, and the office manager's response was to shift blame to my provider instead of acknowledging the pharmacy's failure to communicate clearly and timely. Patients should be cautious, and providers should be aware that using a pharmacy like this can directly affect patient trust in your practice. I would seek other alternatives. read more

I tried to use this pharmacy for a compounded medication yesterday. Within 24 hours, three pharmacists and one technician offered multiple and contradictory information about it. I called to ensure my prescription arrived this morning and was told it had not. Two hours later, just before writing this review, I received a call from a girl at Meta Pharmacy. She asked me to pay for the medication over the phone before I picked it up. When you have doubts about dealing with someone or something immediately, you should trust your instinct and move on. So I am, and so I did. AMENDMENT UNDER YOUR REPLY If you want to justify what your staff did and said, then so be it. But we all know that my doctor sent in one prescription, Meta misplaced it, and now you're trying your best to place the blame elsewhere. read more

I purchased Semaglutide through my physician via Meta Pharmacy (they switched pharmacies). I spent over $500 and whatever Meta is using instead of the right prescription is not working. I did not lose any weight. The prior Pharmacy they were using has Semaglutide that worked. I am very disappointed. I should get a refund. read more

This pharmacy used to be so great for compounding and getting it done quickly through my doctor. I don't know what's happened but they have completely gone downhill! It's taken three days and around five phone calls from me and my doctor getting completely different information with every call from the pharmacist. Not good first impression, with my refill. Called in and emailed as a back up, the refill request on a Thursday, they received authorization on Tuesday from my doctor and they told me so by a phone call on Wednesday. I was told the pills might be ready end of day Friday but latest Monday. I Called today at lunch because I hadn't heard from anyone and now I'm being told they don't have the meds so maybe Wednesday but not sure. This is not acceptable, people can't miss days of medications! I ordered in plenty of time, even their website states 24-48hrs week this will be over a week since approved! I'm not sure how there are as many 5 star reviews as there are, because there's no way that many people have had a positive experience when I've dealt with issues month after month with this pharmacy. I first was prescribed a prescription sent to meta May 2024. I called to have it filled of course they "didn't receive it" I went to my doctors office told them, they said yes they have received it and called them for me. All of a sudden they had it. The second time I called to have it refilled they stated I had no refills. My Dr did prescribe 3 months worth of refills. Again drs office had to call and tell them I had refills. The following time I was only given a partial refill. The next time they asked if I wanted to refill the full prescription or pick up a partial. I picked up the full perscription. Keep in mind Each time the pricing never makes sense. It seems they charge what ever they'd like for the day. This final time I called to refill and knew I only had a partial refill left. The tech told me I had no refills. I told her to check again last time I had a partial left. All of a sudden she found it. When I went to pick up my "partial" The tech told me my total was $108.00 I said that can't be right that's the cost of a full refill for 90qty and I was only getting 36qty . He double checked with someone in the back and they changed the price to $55 which is more than half the amount for a 90qty. It makes no sense. Not to mention one of the times I called they forgot to put me on hold and were talking extremely unprofessional about someone else. I have since moved my prescription to another pharmacy which now cost half the price meta charged, and they actually have their sh*t together. I would recommend looking into other compound pharmacies even if they are a great distance to avoid the cost headache of dealing with this one. read more

Not sure about all the good reviews- I am a provider, and the pharmacist was very rude about my trying to explain that veterinarians do not NPI numbers, and I could offer our state license, but was not comfortable giving out a DEA number, and that is legally only required for controlled substances, and what I needed filled is not one. Pharmacist hung up on me, after I explained that I would just refer my clients to another pharmacy. read more

The worst experience ever. I phoned Meta Pharmacy this morning (Friday) at 9:40 to see if they had received my prescription yesterday from my Dr.'s office, they replied they did not. I phoned my Dr. they faxed it to them again. This pharmacy is hour and half from my home so its important to know they have my prescription or how long it will take for compounding it. I called the pharmacy at 10:30 today to inquire if they received the prescription, they replied yes. I asked how long would it take for compounding. They said for 5 milligrams they had in stock and for 12 1/2 milligrams they would need till Tuesday for compounding The person I spoke with said the Dr didn't put the ml on the prescription. I called the Dr again (12:02) she said she would call the pharmacist. My Dr office called right back within 5 minutes stating she just called and left the milligrams on the pharmacist voice mail with my name and DOB. Now I headed to Las Vegas, hour an 1/2 drive to the pharmacist because they don't have a compounding where I live (Bullhead, AZ). I arrive at the pharmacy they said yes they have the prescription but need the milligrams, I told them that the Dr left it on the pharmacist voicemail, to please check their voicemail. They proceeded to tell me they don't check voicemails until late evening because it will take them to long to go through the 400 voicemails they have. (What Pharmacy lets their voicemails accumulate to 400). I told them, I'll get the Drs office on the phone, that I had driven an hour 1/2 to pick up the prescription. Now they proceed to tell me they don't have it in stock. I informed them, that they told me this morning when I called that they had it in stock. Finally they agreed to call the Dr office instead of just checking the voicemail. Pharmacist now states they had to leave a message for the milligrams on Drs office voicemail In the mean time I'm on the phone, on hold to my Drs office, the pharmacist came out and said the Dr just called, we got the milligrams. I hung up the phone before speaking with the drs office. Now they (the pharmacy states they need the direction on how I take it. I showed them my previous prescription from my old pharmacy on the direction but they would not accept it now they have to call my Drs office again. The only reason I'm at this compounding pharmacy is because my previous one is currently not compounding at the moment otherwise I wouldn't have been here. The lady on the phone this morning was super nice in regards to researching the stock to let me know if they have it in stock but the other person at the counter tried everything in the book, as too not checking the voice mail, too needing the milligrams too stating they don't have it in stock. End of the story is I have been here since 3:00 and it's now 3:59 and hour later and they are finally telling my they are filling my prescription. What pharmacy doesn't check their voicemail periodically and states they have 400 voicemails? The pharmacist asked me how quantity I wanted. I ask him if there was refills on the prescription, he stated no, therefore I ask for the larger one because I have to drive an hour 1/2 to pickup. I paid $226.89 for two prescriptions, which cost me $181.51 at my previous pharmacy. I got in the my car, took the prescriptions out of the bag to look at them and both had three refills on each one. My husband was standing there and heard the pharmacy straight up tell me there were no refills. Once again what pharmacy would do this kind of thing. I called to see if they had Covid testing available and the nicest man named Alex said they did have an appointment available at 2pm and gave me the texting code to set the appointment. It was 10 till so I said great I'm on my way and completed the text code appointment method he guided me through. The main site was glitched and would not allow me to the select a date, which he said no big deal we can do it when I get there. So I showed up and a woman was at the front counter, I told her about the glitch but that Alex said no worries. Right off the bat she had very rude responses, which ya know what? Being in customer service sucks and I get it so I understood she was overwhelmed so I brushed it off. She asked about the text and I told her I completed it but it held up at the date part and showed her on the phone. She then says she's not in charge of the governments website and that it's not her problem. I suggested taking to Alex to see what he meant about helping me through the glitch and she let me know she wasn't Alex in a rude tone. I asked what my options were as far as setting one in person and the response started with "well if you can't figure out a website.." so then I attempted to help problem solve using deescalation strategies again by asking to possibly talk to Alex and I received the largest eye roll I've ever seen since middle school and the rude tone "I don't have time.." I just walked out at that point. She clearly didn't want to help and was in a rush to get me out even though no one was behind me in line. I could hear the other employees start giving her some solutions to the question I had asked earlier (which means there were options despite her saying there wasn't) and all I heard as I walked out was "we don't have to worry about it anymore she's leaving." And then a gentleman saying "catch her!" In an attempt to give me the information I asked for but then I heard "No" as her response and just continued my way out of there. Yet again one of those moments where treating others with kindness because you never know what they are experiencing would have been nice, but at least I held up my end of that‍ read more

I absolutely love this pharmacy. Not only are the pharmacist extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they will treat you like family. They go above and beyond to get your prescriptions ready in a timely matter, unlike other pharmacies in town. Also, this pharmacy is the cleanest and most beautiful pharmacy I have ever seen. When I was pregnant, my doctor referred me to compounding pharmacy next to his office to fill a prescription he wanted me to take until I delivered. When I went to pick it up a few days later I was completely appalled when I walked in the door, it was so dirty and the pharmacist were so rude and unfriendly. I immediately called my doctor (who felt terrible for the referral) and asked my prescription be changed to Meta Pharmacy due to a recommendation from a friend. I couldn't have been happier with Meta Pharmacy! Sean took such good care of me and I was immediately at ease from my bad experience.
