A quick stop to hit up their ATM as it's free in my network. While I was here, a quick look around and a few postcards from Las Cruces to send to people back home. The store is laid out the exact same as every other Walgreens that I have seen this year from Charlotte to Cape Coral to Roswell. The store itself is good , however , the restrooms definitely need some TLC. There was ZERO Toilet paper and the soap was also out.

I purchased a visa gift card for &92.51. They took my money. When I got home, opened it to activate. It was missing four numbers in the front and security code was delivered. Went back to Walgreens on north main and trivia, they refused to make it right and would give a refund. They stated they would not refund because they are third party from the company that puts the cards in their store. Never buy a gif card from Walgreens. read more

I was impressed by the customer service of the pharmacy staff on the phone I wasn't able to get her name but I called to get my covid results. I was expecting a "you'll get a call when they come in" but she actually took the time to look into it and answer my questions. It's the little things but going through all this covid stuff I really appreciated the helpfulness for once. read more

Called or stopped at the pharmacy five times in the last 8 days trying to pick up a prescription the doctor ordered. Today, I'm on my cell phone with the doctors office as I'm talking to the counter person in front of me. Finally she checked something in the queue. "Oh yes, it was ordered last Monday. We can fill it now I guess." How these things can be consistently missed is a mystery. read more

Walgreen's on N Main is the oldest Walgreen's in town yet the nicest and neatest. Staff is super friendly, they walk you over to products and shop for you at drive thru( if you have a good reason not to inside.) And not just the cashiers are friendly, everyone's friendly! read more

I'm disappointed in the level of service at this pharmacy. I was issued a savings card by a company that produces my medicine. I provided it to the pharmacist nearly 1.5 months ago. When I returned to pick up my medicines, I was never given it back. Unbeknownst to me, at such time, I telephoned roughly 3-4 weeks thereafter, to request it back. They advised me that they do not have it, and that I will have to call the company and go through the entire process of interview, so as to get a new card (a 1.5 hour interview) I was never telephoned by any staff to inform me that they still have my card. I was never asked whether I would like to pick it up. I was told that the pharmacist "normally" exercises discretion with regards to people's saving's cards, and typically, Walgreen staff at Main St, Las Cruces decide to throw it away once they enter it into the computer. This is entirely unacceptable. I gave a card that belonged to me, under the terms and conditions bestowed and inherent to my relationship with the company that produces my medicine. A member of Walgreen's staff arbitrarily decided to subrogate on behalf of me, and discard it. Furthermore, they attempted to justify the subrogation as if I signed an agreement to such arrangement. Nothing in the realm of transaction custom and practice allows for such a transaction to take place. You have something of mine, I want it back. I should not have to go through the process of getting another card because of incompetent Walgreen's staff. I requested to speak with the manager. I was denied such request by Marty, stating that I had already spoken with one. I advised Marty that he had told me that such manager was only temporary, and that I wished to speak with the permanent manager. The intent was obvious, to reach someone more competent than the previous Mr. Mestrada. Denied. I initially began to notice a serious dip in competency amongst Walgreens Pharmacists when I moved from the east coast to the High Desert of California. I decided to give Walgreens another chance after moving to New Mexico. Same story in pretty much the same region. Unfortunate. read more

11/5/13 I went to pick up my Rx in the pharmacy but it had been returned to stock. The clerk told me it would be ready in 45 min. I realized I would not be able to wait so I said I'll come back for it. An hour and a half later I returned and was told by the same clerk that it was not ready. At that point I asked to speak to someone in charge which was the "Floater" Pharmacist. He told me he was in charge but that he "wasn't IN charge". Whatever that means. He was more interested in arguing with me than solving my problem. The clerk returned and told me it was not ready because the medication was not in stock and they would have to order it. At this point I was very frustrated so I said," Fine. I need it. So order it." So now I have no medication and I have go back to pick up a medication that Walgreens should carry all the time. It's a good thing it isn't cardiac medication or an antibiotic. Someone might actually die waiting for Walgreens to order their medication. This is not the first time that this particular Walgreens could not fill my Rx. Doesn't the Phamacist moniter available stock and reorder in a timely manner? I lived in Coral Springs Florida with over a million people living in that area. There was a Walgreens on every corner and I never had a problem filling any Rx. Why is it so hard to get an Rx filled here? I worked in Customer Service for 15 years and I realize that you cannot make everybody happy all the time, but at Walgreens in Las Cruces New Mexico it seems to be their policy to not not even try. read more

Upon release from hospital I was prescribed a blood pressure medication and a cholesterol medication. When I went to pick them up I was told that the cholesterol medication was $225! I asked if that was generic. I explained that I Elsa's a cash customer and could not afford that could they double check price. No help. I took the blood pressure medication but declined the other thinking I would have to ask doctor to prescribe a cheaper medication. After a two minute search online I found an average price for the drug was $31 ? Was that possible? I went to Albertsons pharmacy to price the drug there. I was quoted a price about 75% less and told there were also coupons available. I asked them to transfer prescription and fill it for me. After a few minutes of entering all of my info I was told that they found the coupon and the cost of my drug would be $11.17 !!! $214 less than Walgreens. Walgreens you have lost a customer for life and I will tell this story to anyone who will listen. That kind of price gouging and lack of customer concern is outrageous and needs to be rewarded with big red and yellow going out of business signs read more
