I made an appointment for my girlfriend and I about two weeks ago. When we showed up at the store, we were informed that they canceled our appointments because we didn't "check in" online. They claimed an email was sent but neither one of us received it (we checked our junk email too). What irritates me the most is how the person in the store reacted by saying they have to do this because of no shows. Ok, I get that but other businesses deal with this but sending you a text to confirm or they take a credit card to hold the appointment. It's just a pretty poor way of doing business. Don't give this place your business. Find other providers. By the way, we called Stanton Optical after this fiasco and they scheduled us right away. And no need to confirm through email. read more

Horrible customer service. I recently called them to ask if they could pull up my prescription for glasses (because I had an appointment at this location a while back. They said they couldn't do that and that I'd needed to make an appointment to see an optometrist, so that's what I did. When I went to my appointment, they said I needed to confirm my appointment 3 days before, but they never sent me anything to let confirm. I explained this to them and they didn't care. Since it was their mistake, I asked if the optometrist could fit me in, and they still refused to do anything. Don't go there. 1. Shirley, the office manager is extremely rude. Their system went down when they were about halfway done with my exam, so they had to reschedule me. When I came back for the new appointment, they had me wait about an hour and a half after the scheduled time before I finally got fed up and left. All this time, Shirley never apologized for the inconvenience and tried to make it seem like it was all my fault and I was inconveniencing them. 2. They don't even have a doctor on site. The tech does the preliminary exam and then sends the results to the optometrist through the internet. The optometrist then does a teleconference call to talk to you about your results. Yet, they still charge you full price for this cut-rate service! read more

Went for eye exam (via video there is no onsite optometrist) august 9. Two weeks later my trial contacts are here. Because I am leaving in two weeks I was told today that I can have my trial contacts but cannot have my prescription that my insurance company and I have paid for. The reason for this is because they are unable to schedule me on the days I am back in town and there is nothing they can do about it. Extremely bad business practices. Highly recommend that anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. 8-25. I emailed the customer service department as they asked. I received an automated answer that they received my email. I will update here when or if I hear more back from them. 8-30. I received a phone call yesterday from store who stated they had heard from corporate and had requested the physician release my prescription. Today I got a call that my prescription was ready to pick up! Very grateful to corporate and for the local store resolving this. read more

This place is really fucking awesome, I was previously scammed at another frame store that was in my network, got close to nothing on a single frame with no additions plus lens fees and service fees, total scam but I paid for it anyway. Luckily the place broke my glasses and offered a full refund. Then I took my prescription here, walked in with no wait, gave the awesome lady my insurance and I was able to choose two frames of whatever cost I wanted, WOW, and both frames came with all the premium additions, WOW AGAIN. Totally awesome! She said they'll be ready in two weeks, great right? THEY WERE READY THE NEXT DAY! WOW! I know I might be over hyping the store but it's pretty fucking awesome. After being scammed at another store then coming here and being treated like royalty I was a happy customer. When I picked up my frames I was in and out in two minutes, they also do free frame repairs! Insane! I also paid $10, I felt so bad I even offered to give the great lady a tip but she refused saying she was just doing her job. Wow, those of you rating this place 5 stars need to up your standards! A 3 hour wait time in a tiny, cramped noisy waiting room without entertainment to get particulate sprayed in my eye and THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION is NOT worthy of even one star!!! Someone needs to be fired here, and I think it's their manager. Worst. Experience. Ever. Most I've ever spent on an exam. Wrong prescription after a torturous wait and experience. I've had awful luck with finding an optometrist that works. My experience here has been nothing but amazing. The wait time was a little long but not unbearable and the receptionists were polite and helpful. The optometrist that saw us was knowledgeable and the service was fantastic. He talked to us about many things and we loved knowing about our eye health. We were offered sample contacts to see if we liked the fit as well as sample solution. I LOVED this place and it will be my go-to from now on. read more

I get my glasses at this Vision works. My 93 year old mom wears glasses with the bridge of the nose prongs. The cushioned pad was gone and the plastic broken. I took her into Visionworks and they were kind and very helpful. The glasses were repaired at no cost! My mom is happy and I am thrilled that Visionworks is run by compassionate folks.
