They told me Medicare would not approve the orders if my CPAP was less than 5 years old. I called my Insurance United Health Care who told me my doctor had to call and requested an expedited exception. I finally got a call back from the pulmonologist's office today 1/18/23. They told me the request to the doctor must come from the DME company to the doctor. They stated they contacted Dona Ana Medical supply who claimed they had never received the orders and that they did not accept United Health Care insurance. I have had a tough time finding a knowledgeable and courteous DME company in Las Cruces. Used a DME in a small Texas town for 11 years with no problems. Would not recommend this company

The next day, I went back to Arroyo Medical Supply with a prescription for platforms to go on the walker. I needed the platforms so that I could put my weight on my forearms rather than on my wrists and hands while using the walker. I have a Chronic Pain Syndrome in my wrists and hands. About four weeks later a young man delivered one platform. I said I needed two and that the prescription was written for two. He was very apologetic and said the situation would be resolved within a couple of days. Several days later I called Arroyo Medical Supply to find out the status of my order. They had not yet received the new platform. There was no apology. I called back immediately and said that an apology would go a long way. The woman I spoke with apologized. Now it's seven weeks since I ordered the platforms. I'm ready to taper off of the walker. I never received the platforms. My wrists and my fingers hurt than usual more from the use of the walker (actually, my fingers have never been involved till now). Luckily, I have not had a full-blown flair of my Chronic Pain Syndrome. Bottom line: Arroyo Medical Supply was not able to supply me with the medical equipment I needed. In the middle of this situation, my husband needed a bed rail. We bought it online rather than going through Arroyo Medical Supply.

Hospital, insurance or who... Upon delivery of the machine to my hospital room the technician wanted my 20% deductible paid in full. Mind you, I was still in the hospital with no access to money or credit cards. Upon my arrival at home I was immediately contacted by Arroyo again for payment. I told them to send me a bill. When the time for the machine to be picked up by Arroyo drew near I contacted them 5 days in advance to make arrangement for pickup. I was to begin outpatient Physical Therapy the day the machine was due and I live 20 miles from town . I didn't want a conflict if I was not available when they chose to pick it up. The person who answered the phone basically blew me off. As I feared they did contact me within an hour of when I was to leave and go to PT to try and come to my home and retrieve the machine. I feel they are very unprofessional , unable to listen, understand or communicate with their customers and I will refuse to do business with them in the future. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

They don't deliver when they promise and don't seem to care if their clients don't have oxygen. I placed an order on Friday and they said it'd be delivered on Monday. I called on Monday to confirm delivery and was told order was only placed on Monday. Their sales people have no way of knowing if warehouse will deliver as requested. I learned that my delivery address was changed without my knowledge. I spoke with their branch manager, Jordon, who was one if the rudest people I've ever talked with. He would interrupt me and then tell me not to interrupt him. There are more companies in Albuquerque to deal with for oxygen supplies and I suggest using anyone except HME specialist. They dimply don't care. This is not the first time I've had problems with them. On Friday I was without oxygen for over 6 hours and could not get home unit repaired before 11pm. They don't inspire confidence. Because oxygen is fundamental to life, all they inspire is terror. Phone calls aren't returned. Drivers don't call when they are in their way. Please don't use them if you are concerned or rely on oxvgen to stay alive.

Ironically, the clients probably do not possess the writing skills to write a top-notch review, so I'll do it. It was upsetting to me to see the character assassination on Irene Evans from a former disgruntled office assistant. I was a case manager there at SCCMS and I could not disagree with the one-star review more. Irene and her husband treated me like family. They helped me find housing in Las Cruces where I could keep my little dog. They helped me get a car. They helped me move. They gave me rides to places when I didn't have a car. Her and her husband were two of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. This snarky "they only care about money" nonsense is ridiculous. It takes great compassion and empathy to work with the population SCCMS serves. Obviously, Shannon did not know her very well. I would say that would be your loss.

On paydays, she would wait until the very end of the day and not because of practical reasons, to quote her "I don't like to give instant gratification" never mind they case workers worked hard for that paycheck. Irene also screws over any office staff and snubs them and she did that while I was there. An elderly woman was murdered by her "caregiver" circa 2000 I believe. I had made friends with a couple of case workers who worked there who told me the case manager for this elderly lady rarely saw her and on the day she died, the owner, case manager and one of the supervisors were in closed door meetings to "discuss" some things which some of them believed was a cover up story as the case worker had not checked up on her. There were two supervisors, one was very nice and reasonable, but the other, a Kerry or Carrie, was abusive to her subordinates which can create a hostile environment for anyone. Irene was also all about the money. She "claimed" to be concerned about her clients but she would charge medicare and medicaid more money and I believe she was audited a few times because of that. Instead of paying for expenses herself, she would make tax payers pay for things that could be considered expenses she could write off on taxes, which she also lied to as well. I also worked at another place that worked with them and they way she would refer to the clients was paramount to flippant and derogatory and complained about some, most were elderly and would make "jokes" that were very inappropriate and quite vulgar. After what I witnessed, I would NEVER send any of my elderly relatives there for case management services.

I must continue to work as I can't get any help in this town which is ridiculous! I have been on my prescription since 2020. And I have gotten it several times in the past at Walmart. She argued with me that I could only get a 7 day supply as I haven't ever taken this medication. I told her to look again as I have been on it for 4 years. That without it it's very difficult to get out of my bed and walk. let alone work. She checked again and I guess she spoke to someone who could read my history on their computer and came back and said rudely that there were no vouchers and out of pocket would be $211. And should she just cancel it? I told her yes. She treated me like a drug addict. I got my medication pres transferred to the Walgreens on Motel and Picacho Where I was treated very well. The helpful staff found a voucher for less than $40 So I could get my medication so I could be able to go to work. They were very caring and poli at that Walgreens. As to that Walmart pharmacy, I will never go back there It's bad enough that someone in Las Cruces attacked me and stole my car and the police did absolutely nothing but to be treated like a low life by a pharmacist just because my body is broken and I must work in order to survive is horrendous Im going back home where I haven't been through so much horrible stuff.

Every single month they have problems doing their jobs. They seem to "lose" my insurance info every time I refill my prescriptions. I ordered three of my meds about a week ago. I sent my husband to go pick them up. He was told, by one of the pharmacy techs, that my meds weren't ready because of an "issue" between my insurance and my doctor. Seeing as my father in law just died, I wasn't able to find out what the problem was until today. When I was then informed that my insurances are just fine. So you mean I have been having withdrawals all week because someone at that pharmacy doesn't know how to do their damn job?!? They are lucky I didn't have a seizure because of their incompetence!! Both the meds that I was forced off of due to the ignorance of that pharmacy are not supposed to be stopped cold turkey because of the withdrawal dangers. That pharmacy needs to be seriously investigated. I could have DIED. How many other people have they done this to? How many people have gotten really sick because they didn't refill their prescriptions either??? This place cannot be allowed to go on another day with such gross negligence and severe ignorance of its employees.
