So going into this Walgreens was nothing out of the ordinary. The employees treated as well and were kind. I guess the only thing that kind of was not so great was the selection in certain beverages. The two workers I asked for help were incredibly rude. They were very snippy and when I asked for assistance they said "sure" and sighed or said "I guess." One argued with me about my card I was using and talked to me like I was dumb. I'd rather drive farther to another Walgreens than deal with those two people ever again. This is why I prefer CVS. They are never rude and always actually help me. And I don't have to worry about getting attitude from people that are old enough to be my grandparents. read more

Only way to get service is having to complain. Calling is a joke. They pick up phone don't even say hold on, then after it rang back to them, they picked it up and hung up. Waiting for one of my medications to be ready, never heard so called, they said what the issue was, I asked why I wasn't informed, she just said sorry like no big deal. Need to find another place with caring people and know how to do their job appropriately. The pharmacist is great, it's everyone else that mess up. read more

Pharmacy is open till 8, but I couldn't get my daughter's medication because they didn't have a pharmacist on duty. This was at 7:15

I like Walgreens and use them fairly frequently. The issue is if you need a vaccine just go somewhere else. This is the 2nd time we've done it here and I've been her 35 minutes and I still don't know when we will get the shot. We arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork...which took them 20 minutes to print out. Why? What's the point of making an appointment if it still takes them this long to do it? What happened to customer service?? I was there trying to print pictures and I was trying to ask questions and the photo person disappeared. Came back much later and didn't seem to want to help and I had to ask multiple times to get responses. I need to find another location I guess. Too bad, I would like to keep business here but not if they aren't giving me good service. read more

Walgreens pharmacy in Lake Villa is the worst!!!! Long waits... nothing is ready on time. When you get there, there are 5-6 pharmacists & or Pharmacy techs chatting & bumping into each other and not getting anything done! Very frustrating when you're sick waiting for your meds!!! read more

Not once have I had an issue at this Walgreens. Prices are good, service is better and overall, a great Walgreens. The only reason why I don't give this store a 5 star review is because the store could be more clean. When I go in there, there are sometimes products on the shelf that don't belong there (ex. Chocolate Bars in Cosmetics section) or there are items falling off the shelf or on the floor. Other than that, it's a wonderful store. Keep up the great work, just make sure the cleanliness of the store steps up a bit and I'll be back to edit my review. Highly recommended, well managed. read more

Usually you get pretty helpful people at your local Walgreens, this time not so much. Took a while to find someone to assist as I was looking for some medicine but you can always count on them having what you need. Still appreciate the convenience of Walgreens. read more

The Pharmacy is brutal. I don't think I've EVER gone to the driver thru and have not waited at least 10 minutes. Most recently it's been upwards of 20 min. Changing my pharmacy ASAP. They need some major customer service. read more

The rating here is solely based on pharmacy , specifically the drive through, it's ridiculously slow, and no sense of urgency, around customer service, if your lucky to miss the line it still takes 5-10 for the staff to acknowledge your there. This is the norm not the exception. read more

The staff at this Walgreens is a very nice and helpful but the bathrooms are disgusting definitely need some remodeling possibly and definitely need to start cleaning them daily it always stinks in there and the floors are disgusting the walls need to be washed the just the whole bathroom is just disgusting read more

This star is strictly for the pharmacy. The store is outstanding, staff is friendly and its your typical perfect Walgreens. The pharmacy, however, is the slowest in creation. They are always "so busy" and understaffed. They never ask to see which car was in line first when filling orders in the drive thru. The wait here is always excessive. If I go inside, most times there is no one ahead of me waiting, and it's still a long wait. Pharmacist was also very rude (older gentleman, taller, white hair) when we returned a prescription that contained peanuts, over a lack of communication amongst staff on their part. Let's be honest here people.... This is Walgreens. They make their stores to look and feel the same on purpose, to make the consumer feel comfortable. I am a little ashamed at wasting so much time on a review. For a Walgreens. Ugh. It really is the most incompetent, lazy, and obtuse staff you can find and I'd imagine the first place to look for answers would be upper management. Good service and nice and helpful employees. The comment from Daniel about some products on the shelf that don't belong there (ex. chocolate bars in cosmetics section).Unfortunately, people do this all the time and I have seen it with my eyes when this one lady just left her empty drink on one of the shelves. Customers change their minds and are too lazy to return the item to where they took it and they just leave it wherever it is convenient for them. I'm sure that the employees would remove items that does not belong in a shelf and I have seen them do that. Overall, this is a very well managed store, customer service is excellent.
