The Walgreens pharmacy by us in Antioch IL frequently is closed down because of staffing issues. The other day I needed a simple pickup and both times I stopped by they were closed for meal breaks. WHY can't a company as big as this find a way to do things differently? WHY can't a technician be enough to simply transact a refill? I'm sure that there should be stronger regulations when dispensing a controlled substance but a simple antibiotic or refill should be less of an ordeal. When I'm sick they should be helping me get on with getting better, not running wild goose chases. The individuals I deal with at the store aren't necessarily the problem. They're just doing what they're required to do.

I dread having to go to this (or any other for that matter) location because any visit will take twice to three times as long as it should. Most recently I had an appointment for vaccinations at 1:20. I arrived at 1:15 and cooled my jets until I was seen one 35 minutes later. The pharmacy staff by and large is sour which I would be as well if I was that overworked. Whilst I sat there, "assistance needed in the photo department" was announced via the PA five times. Since there wasn't a sixth, I presume a staff member finally arrived to assist after the 10-minute wait. While Walgreens may be able to eke out some profit from their understaffed stores, it ain't a recipe for success and I look forward to seeing the company implode. Good riddance.

I did give it 4 stars because the staff is good and the results were amazing. Another con is they reschedule almost all the time because the Dr is out of town, now I don't think it's the staff's fault since they can't dictate if he will return back on time but that does cause a bit of an inconvenience.

If you ask for even a better deal, you would probably succeed - the owners are very sweet and eager to please. My only real complaint would be the restricted hours. The store was the only filled store in this little strip for a very long time, but now there are some neighbors to help pull in more customers. I'm sure they will be able to hire clerks and expand their hours eventually. For now, they close early and are not open on Sunday. I have what I'd call "dental anxiety" and they're very understanding and compassionate here. Normally I can't have anything more than an x-ray done without being knocked out with IV sedation, but they actually pulled a wisdom for me on my first ever visit here when I was in a lot of pain. I was surprised they would help so quickly and I got a blunt response... "your in pain, we dont leave people in pain" you've gotta respect that. They have some sedation options but aren't set up for IV sedation so keep that in mind. I got through it pain free with just a shot to numb it, I'm not normally so lucky, which speaks to the skill of the dentists here. They offer good referrals that suit my specific needs and they are knowledgeable about different options for treatment. They also take most insurance plans and can work with you to find a payment plan that works for you. As someone who's had work done here as well as used them as a middle man for various specialists I'd say they are worth checking out. I'm glad to have them nearby for emergencies.

I really appreciate the flexibility of getting all of my errands done at one store. I have had worse experiences than my most recent trip but we are on the upswing so I am optimistic. Today, the employees were engaged in stock and straightening up the aisles, shelves, and bins. It was almost surreal for a Walmart. I love going clothes shopping here towards the seasons changing because the clearance racks offer deals that you can't beat. I was able to find some cute shirts for my growing preteen to wear to school at less than $8 a piece. One shirt was only a dollar! I also love the baby separates at $3-$4 a piece. I am getting a little less flexible as I get older and a kind employee, who was probably a teenager, was nice enough to help me look for the size I needed on a low rack. I ended up with a few shirts for my older daughter and quite a few outfits for my younger daughter. I headed for the checkout lines and quite a few of the lanes were empty of cashiers while the lines were getting increasingly longer at the open lanes and self-checkout registers. My one criticism is that this situation seems to be the norm instead of a deviance from the norm. More cashiers are needed when you have more customers. I also wanted to mention the employee near the self-checkout when I passed through. While I was checking out, my daughter's diaper decided to give up it's absorbance goals and literally poured baby pee onto the floor. Although I am sure that was the absolute last thing that she wanted to deal with, the employee brought me paper towels and helped me clean up the mess that I unintentionally created. He wanted to do so much work to my mouth that his list made my head spin. He has to be trying to drive up the office revenue listed in the books, at your oral healths expense. I go to the dentist every 6 months and prior to him taking over for Dr. Favale I didn't need any work beyond the normal cleaning. I let Dr Chung repair one tooth (that he identified as needing it) in December of '24 and now it's June of '25 and that tooth is still very sensitive. I took the list he made of the work he said I needed to another dentist, and they didn't agree with it. I am happy I listened to my inner voice and got a 2nd opinion. It is a shame what has happened to Dr. Favale's practice. Think twice before you allow Dr. Chung to dig around in your mouth. He has changed the name of the office to Clarity Dental Group, in case you missed that announcement. His chair side manner comes across very arrogant, belittling, and narcissistic if you question anything. I will never go back there again. Dr. Favale, I hope you see this and realize you could have made a better choice for your patients.
