Lots of parking in this location. Staffing can be short as the times I've been here, if I accidentally wear a blue T-shirt, they'd think I'm staff and customers would swoop in and try to ask me questions when I'm a customer myself. I've only really gone here for their pharmacy to pick up antibiotics due to a really bad and really mucus-y infection or to get my COVID/flu and cold shot in the past. There's almost always a line at the pharmacy and I also had to wait a bit for any shots. They do their best, but again, large patient population and limited staff. But at least on the pharmacy side, staff is very polite and do their best to be efficient. Never really found any sale items or weird energy drinks or sodas that caught my eyes, but unless I really need something, Walgreens isn't my place to go. read more

The employees there are always nice and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience at this Walgreens location on 934 N.Hacienda Blvd. La Puente Ca was very disappointing. I placed an online pickup order a few days ago, and when I got home, I realized some of the items were not what I ordered. I came back the next day for an even exchange, but the customer service was very poor. The employee at the front seemed confused about my issue, so I had to explain it several times. Eventually, she asked the supervisor for help, but the supervisor immediately gave me attitude. There was also a long line, and no one tried to open another register to help customers waiting. When the manager name Crystal got involved, the attitude continued instead of trying to resolve the issue politely. It honestly felt like they did not want to help customers at all. There was no courtesy or professionalism, and the whole experience was frustrating and rude. I hope management looks into improving customer service at this location. read more

This is the fourth time I go grocery shopping there and they have no bags. I mean not one bag! Very inconvenient

My first curbside pickup here. Normally I would.go inside to shop but this curbside thing's got something going there. I was in and out (well parked) and done in 15 min. I would've given 5 stars but they were out of stock or some of thr things I had in my cart. I checked in on their site and waited 5 min for them to come out with my order. I called Walgreens and talked to a young lady. that worked in the pharmacy. I asked her to help me make an appointment for the covid booster shot for my husband. Went to Walgreens the other night as I was checking out a customer walked in and asked the cashier if he had an extra mask she then replied can I walk in without one. The cashier then nodded and gestured it was ok. During this pandemic I strongly feel we should all be wearing a face mask. Vaccinated or not I think we should. Be sure to check your receipt because I got charged twice for an item by this employee called Nina and had to drive all the way back at 1:30 in the morning and I didn't even get reimbursed for gas or the hassle. All I have to say is I came yesterday with my sister to get the coupon deal and never had a problem till shift leader Monica ended up helping we used the same coupon for softener yesterday 5/11/2020 and now Monica telling me she's can't due the deal because it doesn't qualify, how is that when we just did the deal and it works she didn't even want to try she wouldn't even scan the coupon to see if it would go through, I asked for last name she gave me attitude and said "for what " !!! I really like coming here because they always have sales going on. From the weekly ad sales to their month sales. I have to say it's my go to place. I for the most part come here for their drugs and I mean prescription kind. Haha lol don't get to ahead of me here. I swing by the convenient drive thru the store has. Fast and simple especially if you call ahead of time. It's not a super market so don't go in expecting them to have everything on your shopping list. It's there for you to grab some items and be out. Their photo center is pretty good. They do have a small selection of wine and beers. For some reason beers are on sale most of the time I go in there. You in the mood for a movie night there's a redbox outside. They always have sales on candy and snacks if that's your thing. I know it's mine thing for a movie night. They have a large assortment of gift cards for everything. Helps when you need to grab one one real quick for that birthday party your going to or for whatever occasion you might need one for. Same aisle you got gift bags and greeting cards of all kinds. I highly recommend this establishment and come in you never know what you'll find on sale. read more

Walgreens - New hours - Drugstores Near Me - La Puente, California

Went for a quick card purchase and encountered a rude customer. I tried to excuse myself twice to pass to the registers while a lady (customer) ignored me both times. Even the cashier whispered "maybe she didn't hear you?!" Not wanting to deal with it, I opted to go around the long way to the register. Right when I reached the line the rude lady quickly cut me off. Right away the same cashier noticed and intervened and asked -if I needed to pick up photos- I was helped at the photo section and walked out before the unhappy customer even paid for her stuff. Thank you to MICHELLE :) your thoughtfulness and attentiveness was super refreshing in a petty situation as such. You were appreciated big time!! After purchasing a $50 Visa gift card from this store, I used the gift card to buy from Amazon.com. It did not work, so I tried to get a refund from this Walgreens. They did not refund it. (The cashier I bought the gift card from did not tell me that it was un-refundable).*???* I tried using the Visa gift card to buy Amazon gift cards, but they did not allow it.*??? * They did not seem to have a clue on how customers should use the gift cards. After much inconvenience, I was finally able to use the Visa Gift Card to buy gas. The first time did not work. But after I registered the card at VanillaVisa.com, I used the Visa gift card (as credit) and punched in the zip code, I was able to full tank my car. The Vanilla Visa Gift cards are a headache and they don't seem to work at buying from Amazon.com Walgreens gave away free stuff at a local concert recently so maybe I'll still shop there. Big MAYBE.
