My family and I walked in to do some shopping tonight. We had no idea who the employees were at first..But as we were shopping, we could definitely hear them, as they were arguing about another employee who had called out for the day. Three young employees started screaming about who was in the right, and one male employee was full on yelling even louder that he had to call HR because the girl who called out did not give him 24 hours even though it was the day before. If that wasn't worse, they still continued their argument even though that male employee went to the back room. That female and male employee looked like they were about to help customers check out, but then they were still arguing. Then an older employee came to help check out, but the person in front of us had a return, and so she had to go to the back room for something. We didn't know that the two employees who are still arguing at this point, were actually working the back register. We had been in line for a long time behind the person who was making the return, and then another customer wanted to check out. He asked if there was another line and then finally the female employee that was arguing stepped away, and then the other male employee who was arguing away stopped, and waved his hand, saying he was open. So the customer walked over to him. I was so infuriated. I left my things in the cart and walked out. This Walgreens really needs to get it together. Because three workers who are just shouting for 15 minutes? Not only that they looked extremely disheveled. One had muddy shoes, and another very grungy and dirty pants. read more

As if La Crescenta didn't have enough drugstores...let's add another one! This one is the newest one. Less than 2 years old. That means the walls are clean, everything is pretty well organized, and its not dingy like Rite Aid is. Watch out for: - The parking lot. There's only 1 way in/out and you can only go 1 direction in the lot. Kind of annoying. - Students. Never come between the hours of 12-4pm on weekdays because students literally FLOCK here. Schools don't sell sodas&junk food so ALL the kinds are here buying it. Other than that...its just your usual Walgreens. read more

Phamacy is awful.. Daniel and Jasmine are great, super nice. The new pharmacist is horrible. We have been going there for years getting the same type of medication, all of a sudden she is calling the doctor on everything he prescribes. You know its bad when your own doctor suggests you find a new pharmacy!! The guy that was there before her was great, sad to see him go!! Wow ever since the Sarah Palin show got dropped I can now patronize Walgreens as they are not appearing to sponsor any more ridiculousness.. I like that with the iphone app for walgreens I can get photos printed. In contrast to the years in which the heads of the people in my photos were cut off and all jeewoperdy by photo processing by a part timer who did not really know what end was up, they seem to have better technology and staff who care about the product a little more. I have submitted photos and within 2 hours I can run over and pick up reasonably priced hard copies to share with family. Now that the grandchildren are popping out like crazy, I need this service. Keeping a really strong eye on their politics though: one eye always open in case of a need to boycott if they get uppity and love those conservative nutballs again like Palin.... read more

To start off, this Walgreens is the place I go to for anything from: junk foods to hygenic products. Although I don't use their pharmacy. I got to say, some Walgreens aren't that clean, but this is REALLY clean. The employees are very watchful, which is good, because this is near CV High School where teens hang out after school. One con, is that when these kids come from the school down the street they pile their backpacks on the floor near the entrance and the emloyees don't say anything. So, this is why I come before or after school hours. And it's a good thing that they are open early. The prices at Walgreens are the same as any other drugstore, but I like to come to this one specifically because it's clean and almost empty. I don't come to Walgreens very often, but I am pleased with this store location. read more

I picked up a prescription today at the drive-through window and noticed that the pharmacy clerk was not wearing his mask over his mouth and nose. This despite the fact that he was in the store, in the same breathing space as all of the store customers. When i asked him about it, hetold me he felt he didn't need to wear the mask because of the window between him and me, and that the mask made it difficult for him to talk to customers. That's an unacceptable excuse for violating the law and endangering the lives of those in the store. The fact that it's a violation of committed by someone who is supposed to be a healthcare professional makes it much worse read more

If you place a photo order online to be picked up here you're taking a huge risk. Chances are, they won't be done, if at all. I have wasted SO much time and money preparing orders, only to have them done days later after they were needed -or they were lost altogether. And no one ever seems to be working in the photo department OR they have "computer problems". No one seems to care, they're defensive and unapologetic - which makes it that much more upsetting. Never again. It has literally happened to me 5 times and once was for a school event. It took them 7 days to print 25 photos. 4 days too late. Unbelievable. Go to CVS if you need overnight photos. As a Disgruntled OIF veteran I hate everything and almost everyone until I get to know them. I have a terrible time everywhere I go and I cannot stand 95% of all customer service. These are all my fault and I never bitch or gripe about it, Its me not them. HOWEVER.. Even in bent over pain the staff in the Pharmacy and the entire store did not piss me off one bit. They were all very helpful and are very good at what they do. The Pharmacist and his assistant remembered my name and where on alert for me when I can in as my prescribed pain killers where heavy duty. I just wanted to let everyone know I approve of this wallgreens and Im glad they were able to help me. You gotta limit the starts to 4 because everyone needs to strive for improvement. read more

Came in for a few medical supplies. Minor things I'd normally purchase at the dollar store, but with stock being limited everywhere because of the COVID-19 virus I have to spend a few extra dollars sometimes. The store was fairly empty which is a good thing with social distancing, and they had most of what I was looking for. The customer service was just ok. They were out of the complimentary hand sanitizer, I looked around for someone to mention it to, but I saw no one. The guy who was working check out didn't greet me so I didn't bother to say anything. I like to sanitize before touching the credit card console and sanitize after as well. I'm glad most stores are offering complimentary bottles near the machines. There's was near the entrance. All in all I'm satisfied. After my encounter with supervisor Maria down at Vons Tujunga, anything better than a customer service rep belittling me, intimidating me, rolling their eyes at me, or hissing at me is good enough for me. I just wish I didn't have to drive all the way to lacrescenta to be treated like a human being. read more

Susan answered my call tonight at 9:25 pm . I was worried for my daughter as her tooth crown fell off . Susan is a good listener . She new exactly what I was inquiring about . "Recapit" is the product . She stated they carry it and asked me to hold while she checked the shelf . When she came back on the line , she said she'd have it at the front register for my daughter to pick up . Susan spoke clearly and was very understanding . I'm very glad she helped me. Then I called my daughter and she said , yes Daddy , they​ have it ready for me and know my name . This is the type of service we all remember and appreciate . I've been waiting for a prescription for 2 whole weeks because they didn't have it, they had to order it. Promised it would be in, by Tuesday. It's Friday now, but had to call last night to see if it was already in ... they said yes... no one called to inform me! Came through drive thru,and they said 3 customers ahead of me. My husband walked around stood in line and they kept helping customers in line while making us wait in drive thru... why bother having a drive thru if you don't want to help customers... annoyed ! read more

I am sure a pharmacy has to deal with people who abuse drugs like Narco, but I had a prescription from my doctor, and literally have taken it one other time in my life at age 42. The pharmacist was rude, even after speaking with my doctor, and when I asked for an update after 30 minutes, she said she would fill it as a "courtesy" as though I was in the wrong for coming there to get it filled. There is a way to be a pharmacist who is compassionate and empathetic in today's world, but she was judgmental and rude. I would have been angry if I weren't in so much pain and just wanted to get out of there. She asking me twice to leave and come back, but I was there for a bruised tailbone so driving and sitting in my car was far more painful than waiting. After this, I will never be back to this pharmacy. I've never felt so humiliated just trying to get a prescription. I hope she reads this and rethinks how she handles future patients. You can screen for drug abuse with compassion. You can treat patients/customers with respect even if they are getting a controlled substance. read more

this tiny store is simply a pathetically blatant money grab at the students coming to or from cv and the other schools nearby. it's jammed into a corner lot with a front entrance angled to the sidewalk traffic rather than directly from the tiny parking lot where grown ups park their vehicles. the hours aren't uniquely helpful, their prices are not competitive, and they sell nothing that you can't get anywhere else in the neighborhood, not to mention the customer service which is 4-star out-to-lunch. this is totally a store of last resort or extreme convenience, in an inconvenient location. allegedly they have a good beauty and make-up counter but that's not my thing. whoever walgreens greased to shoehorn this place in here must have been very happy when they came back asking for a liquor license. read more

Over all I don't mind going to Walgreens it is good for prescriptions and an "Oh crap I forgot blah" place. This one has a weird parking lot and I feel like no matter where I park I am in the way. The inside was decently clean but really messy if that makes sense. The pharmacy lady was having a super bad night, on the phone arguing with someone about insurance, and my mom and I had to wait 10 minutes while she snipped at us for waiting... We thanked her for her help and she instantly got nicer. But still not such a pleasant 20 minutes. read more

I couldn't wait for the store manager to count the money out of the drawer, so I left my information, and low and behold, when he called me, he had no overage. This is a great Walgreens. They always have what I need and most of the cashiers are so friendly and helpful. Key word being MOST. There is one sour faced cashier that never smiles, never gives a greeting and have literally snatched money out of my hand. Great for pharmacy, harder to find baby care products and quick pick-ups. I've always found the cashiers and floor staff to be pleasant and competent. The pharmacy staff is especially helpful. There's a taller, blonde woman who I've worked with who is particularly helpful. Anyway, I'm not sure what else someone would need from a Walgreens. It sure beats the heck out of the skeezey Rite Aid down the street. read more

Unspeakable incompetence!!!! Given a very accurate and careful description they knew well that the product I asked for was not on the shelf. A similar inferior product that shared only the same manufacture and did not resemble the product inquired about was there. The manager offered lukewarm apologies. I have been to the pharmacy at Walgreens several times and keep hoping for a better experience. Today I left my doctor's office an hour before I got to the pharmacy, waited in line for 20 minutes, and then was told my prescriptions were not done and to wait an additional 20 minutes. While waiting in line, another person went up to the counter, and it took the ladies 10 minutes to find his prescriptions. An elderly lady was called earlier to pick up her prescriptions, and once she arrived they were not ready. Walgreens needs to hire more people, and have better customer service. I will most likely be switching to another pharmacy in the future. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I've been having to deal with this pharmacy for a relative over the past several months. I've never had a no hitch process. Most often I'm told that there is some kind of issue and they will contact me when the issue is resolved. I don't know what century they were planning on contacting me. This morning I was trying to get someone to answer the phone for over an hour and a half. I was disconnected three times in their recorded loop. While I was on hold I called CVS, Riteaid and Costco pharmacies and talked to a live pharmacist within three minutes at each. In person, I've only dealt with one person there who seemed interested in helping me and wasn't just punching a clock. Never going back read more
