They work very quickly here, so I've never experienced longer than about a 10 minute wait. In that case, I just pop into the gift store across the hall and mull around until they are ready. The employees are friendly, but they are always very busy and working fast, so don't expect a chit-chat session with any of them... they simply don't have the time. Since this pharmacy is located in The Pavilion which connects to Baptist Hospital, you'll find odds and ends here for someone who's been admitted to the hospital such as toothbrushes, deodorant, hair brushes, shampoo, etc., etc., etc. Expect to pay hospital prices too; it's not like you're shopping at Walmart, so everything is marked up at least triple the price you'd pay anywhere else. But when you're in a pinch and need something quickly, you can probably find it here.

You know they've never applied their same rules and service to their own family that they apply to you, Mr/Ms Public. "Rules for Thee- Not for Me!" couldn't ring more true here! My favorite part of my experience visiting this "specialty" Walgreens is when they ask out loud your name, date of birth, phone number, address and the name of the medication you're picking up. They will then holler and repeat the name of everything to their coworker 5 feet away to ask if your prescription for that rash is in yet... "Oh it's not in... we need to order it for you. No, we have no idea when it will arrive or if it will arrive, you just have to keep calling us each day!" Now that's customer service!

I've stopped in a few times for help (because trying to reach customer service by phone takes ages), and they're always kind and willing to do whatever they can to help me. On my most recent visit, I wanted to understand why my bill had kept going up over a six-month period and then see what alternative plans would cost. It was about a 20-minute wait, as they were busy -- everyone in the store was working really hard. I got called up and explained my situation, upon which I learned in-store employees are only able to see the past three bills on their tablet, but the gentleman helping me was kind enough to look through the bills I had brought with me and tried to help me understand what happened. Neither of us could figure it out -- and it actually took awhile on the phone with a representative to later sort out what happened. I then asked if he could help me get pricing for their current plans so I could decide whether I wanted to change, especially since T-Mobile's new plans no longer include taxes or fees in their monthly pricing. Unfortunately, he said that a comparison like that wasn't information he could easily calculate in-store. He noted that's also something that has to be handled by the customer online, via app, or by phone. I would be a happy T-Mobile customer if I could just handle account issues face-to-face with a human rather than having to navigate chat bots and AI voice agents to get to a human (although the humans I do eventually end up speaking to are always lovely). If you want to get a new phone, head on in. If you're having any issues, you should probably bite the bullet and make a call instead.
