Walgreens convenient stores, this one is my go to for personal care items, hair color, deodorant and over the counter medicine, their make up aisle has great brands that I have been using for years. This Walgreens location is always well stocked with items we need and some items that I didn't know I needed it they I saw it. I'm always looking for ways to stretch my money and Walgreens has great promotions like their buy one and get 2nd half price specially in this economy. I have topped y to get some Kitchen cleaning stuff, etc medicine, gift cards and save time because they have short lines skipped the bigger stores line. The cashiers are friendly and courteous and always as for my rewards phone number. You know when you have a gut feeling about a place, you should listen. This review is specifically for the Pharmacy. Rather than going through the details of my prior experiences with this location, which further supports my beliefs, I'll just tell you about the final straw. This location has been filling my prescriptions for most of this year. The most recent prescriptions have been delayed due to them not having my insurance on file, per pharmacist. How can that be you say, when all other prior prescriptions have been filled and paid by my insurance. At this point, don't care the reasons why. I recently transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens after moving into the area. I am a new customer. I have been trying to refill one med, having been given a partial refill. On each visit to Walgreens regarding my medication refill, I was told different information by both the clerk and pharmacist about problems filling my med. I was confused and frustrated, looking for assistance regarding the prescription but was met by an aggressive, confrontational attitude. I was frustrated not rude, looking for guidance. Being an older woman, I felt so bad about each interaction with the pharmacy staff. The store staff is always so nice too. Negotiating any medication issues can we tough, but when the folks that are supposed to help are rude and off putting, it feels really bad. I will be transferring my prescriptions. read more

The pharmacist here tried all day to get me prescription that I needed transferred from the CVS across the street due to being $100 cheaper here. Finally says you're next then you're on hold another 2 hours then they close up shop...for the night...while you're still on hold. Happened to me twice! A pharmacist from CVS and I were both on hold, both the next caller to be helped, only to find out the pharmacy closed and forgot to turn off their phones, per the STORE manager that a friend decided to call after 2 hours on hold. read more

I am VERY disappointed with this Walgreen's pharmacy. I had scheduled my 2nd Shingrix shot today at 12:30pm to conveniently be during my work lunch hour. I showed up timely and was told the pharmacist was "in a meeting" but they would page me in the store when ready. 30 minutes go by and still the pharmacist was not available to give me my shot. I love this place. Since I don't shop at Walmart or Target I get all my goodies here. Some say it's over price. However, the world is overpriced. The pharmacy manager needs replacing. We arrive before our vaccine appointments. There is no other customers in the pharmacy and it still takes 50 minutes to get our vaccines! Then she takes a lady with a later appointment ahead of us because "she's only one person." And while if asked I would have said yes, she didn't even ask! I transferred my med prescriptions here months ago because I couldn't stand CVS. Never a problem or a long wait here. The staff treats you courteously unlike at CVS. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs are great. Sometimes they have a problem carrying the meds you need. Not too often but it does happen. The last time I went there requesting a specific med like I had gotten there before but apparently was no longer available they got an equivalent dosage approved by my insurance for just a little more cost which was negligible. I work somewhere where I have to deal with meds for patients and deal with similar issues like these all the time too. I went into this Walgreens and started to have a mini stroke I couldn't see so I was rumbling through the readers trying to find something to help me see, I ended up dropping more than a few, nobody came to help me, and I had lost my balance and could barely walk and when I got to the register nobody would come to the register it was as if they were watching me on camera thinking I was some drunk who couldn't walk, I had to call out 3 times for someone to ring me up and the cashier treated me like I was a degenerate instead of someone who needed someone to call 911. I tried calling the manager the Monday morning after this happened she said that conveniently there were no cameras by the readers, and was told an "incident report" was written but I have yet to hear anything about their cruel negligent staff. Never again will I step foot into a Walgreens again due to one of there prescription drug policies which I was told is a corporate policy now (questioning this after other reviews). While I understand concerns of prescription shopping by addicts and other drug issues now an epidemic in our society, for a pharmacy to deny a legitimist prescription just because of location is totally unethical. Since I commute long distances, especially between my G.P. of almost 20 years and work, I often seek the most convenient location to shop which is often near where I work since my work days start before and end after the hours of my local pharmacy at home, I am often limited to shopping closer to work like on this instance with other local pharmacies sold out. Thank good we have CVS, and so many other pharmacies who are more interested in serving patients than covering there butts for a situation not caused by them when presented with a reasonable legitimate prescription which can be verifiable by phone. Prescription filled by CVS across the street the following day without hassle after ordering (out of stock of 4 other pharmacies I went to)!!! The staff is friendly and the pharmacy is also very dependable on calling you with info, following through, texting when your Rx is ready, refills from text, etc. there is one (I think new?) pharmacist that is not always kind, tends to allow her inner thoughts to be on her face a bit much. Our community Walgreens is a gem. It's staff and merchandise are, to me, well above a small neighborhood convenience store standards and it's got a pharmacy inside too. The 24 hours accessibility is invaluable to me as a father. Many a late night cough has been answered by their pharmacists and vast selection of cold and flu medicines. This location also has a great and up to date photo department. The folks here know how to deliver a fine quality image and in a great turn around time. Their expertise has provided for some great and colorful prints. I am continually pleased with the cleanliness and polite staff this location boasts. Wonderful service. We were greeted by EVERY employee there. Came by to do unscheduled passport pictures. The photographer wanted to make sure it was all perfect, so we took several shots, and then waited around 10 or 15 minutes for it to print out. Paid for our photos and snacks, and left. But, overall, pretty quick, pretty painless, and pretty nice people! Will probably be back. They're also doing some sort of rewards thing where you accumulate points. read more

After 4 years and monthly interactions, I am finally giving up on this pharmacy. It only seems to get worse. half an hour wait times is like a minimum. it can go much longer. severely understaffed. error rate is enormous. I call now and try to make sure the prescriptions are ready before I drive there. It just doesn't help. They find new ways to screw things up. I've been told a dozen times a prescription was ready and when I got there, it was not. They always cover their butt, and it's never their fault. they represent the insurance companies first and foremost. they make up their own rules to make certain the insurance company doesn't pay anymore than absolutely necessary. they get in between the doctor and his prescription. Changing a dosage requires the doctor to write a new script. You will be told on a regular basis that they will not refill a prescription because you are supposed to still have some medication. They don't care that the prescription requires daily on-going administration or deadly side effects can occur. they will not assist in resolving issues. It is up to you to figure out what went wrong and get it corrected. the last review reads like a sister wrote it. read the others for 2019 read more

I can not explain how bad this pharmacy is. Over and over the same mistake. They say a will be ready for pick up in 30 min and to come get it but never notify you that it wasn't filled and they run it against the wrong insurance even after you confirm over and over what insurance and even they it processed. To get there wait in line and then hear ... well we ran it against the wrong insurance couldn't fill it and now you can't have it until the next day ... only for them to make the same mistake over and over!
