The pharmacy staff is by far the most disrespectful, untimely fashioned and worst of all ill trained staff that I have seen in a long time. Very rushed as if I bothered them simply for showing up, I got eye rolls huffs and puffs and sighs like a child on punishment. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do NOT rely on the Walgreens Pharmacy at Main St & I Ave in Hesperia, CA, especially if your medication is urgent. My son, who is severely disabled and needs seizure medication to survive, went over a week without his meds because this pharmacy failed to do their job. After three weeks of waiting, they casually told me they couldn't fill his prescription -- on the day it was guaranteed to be ready. When I asked why no one contacted me so I could make other arrangements, the so-called "manager," Quagn, told me "Not my job." When I asked about the two other medications that were also due that day? Again: "Not my job." Even worse, he made an extremely inappropriate comment: "We'd love to make money off your son, but we can't." This wasn't just poor customer service -- it was gross negligence, callous behavior, and deeply unprofessional. My review only applies to the pharmacy: I tried calling, but am continually placed on hold for over 40 mins. I went in person instead... the website, app, and sign all say that they open at 8:00am. I got there at 8:02 and everything was still dark. The first staff member arrived at 8:12 and did not open the windows until 8:18. The app said that my prescription was ready but they didn't even have it. Staff said that he did not have an explanation, but that he would order it and to call in a couple of days. I've been trying to call for 4 days now but again am just placed on hold over and over again. So now I have to go in yet again hoping that they do have my prescription. read more

I was only here killing time, waiting for my ride to pick me up and although I saw the bad & sad reviews, it wasn't a bad experience for me at all. They had items that I've never seen at other WG's, it wasn't crowded or busy, but very sporadic with people going in and were practicing social distancing - though some came in with out masks (?what you gonna do?? Stay the hell away from those people like I did). All & all I got some items that I needed that were brands I wasn't familiar with, but looked up and saw the good reviews on (makeup, face creams) and a variety of snacks because they have a selection & excellent prices. The customer service at that time was friendly and good, they all acknowledged me, that was a lot more I've been said hi to, than all stores that only recognize "other" people (put yourself in my shoes, even old people get ignored lol.... yeah that's it smc...) ;) I'd definitely go back whenever I'm out there in the high desert. read more

So we were standing right infront of the pharmacy but in the aisle and they closed down completely for lunch after we had been waiting about 15 minutes. Okay so I usually don't come to Walgreens although I have been told that is better then rite-aid. I came to buy passport pictures. Ridiculously expensive but I needed them for tomorrow. Paid $13.99 for two pictures. This is not a review of Walgreens but rather a review of their employee, Kelly. Kelly was exceptional with her customer service. My family and I were having multiple difficulties connecting our phones to the photo printer machine and Kelly took every action to help my family as well as other customers at the front register. She even went to the extent to run back and forth to help multiple customers, bring us extra USB cables, and finish our transaction all while emitting positive energy. The pharmacy manager Jacob A. Gave horrible customer service. He did not greet us with a smile, hello or a how are you? Instead he just asked if we had a question. He made it feel like we didn't have business to handle and were not welcome. I expressed how I have gotten my prescription filled at Walgreens multiple times and in an emergency needed it refilled while i was out town. He said he didn't need to look up my name. I don't even know where to begin. To start off with after sitting in a doctors office for three and a half hours because my son has been sick. My doctor finally sent over a prescription for antibiotics around 2 o'clock this afternoon. At this Walgreens ( and about four others) location I had to call because I haven't heard from them to let me know if the prescription was ready or if they had any problems with it . When I called they informed me that they out of stock . Rather than calling me to inform me that they didn't have the medication they just let me sit around and wait until I called. When I asked why they couldn't pick up the phone and inform me that they were out of my sons prescription I was told that the only time they make phone calls as one of prescription is ready. I also had a prescription to pick up my doctor faxed in at 2 p.m. today. I was informed by the pharmacist that he did not see the prescription until it was too late to call and confirm it with the doctor. Again I ask them why can't they pick up the phone and let the patient know that there was a problem that way the patient could have gotten ahold of the doctor and let them know that there is an issue and to get ahold of the pharmacy, and again I was informed that the only time they will contact the customer is if the prescription is ready not if they were having any issues. In my own opinion this is very poor customer service. I can do without my prescription for day or two, but my son needs his prescription as soon as possible especially tonight. I can go into detail about several other occasions or walgreens has failed to provide decent customer service but I don't think I have that much room on this page. Needless to say I will be taking my business to another pharmacy down the street. Not another Walgreens. If anyone is local and it's looking for a better pharmacy to go to other than Walgreens, and that takes all kinds of insurance especially iehp, I highly recommend the Medicine Shoppe on Main Street and 11th. It's in the same parking lot as wienerschnitzels. Their customer service and service all together is fantastic! I've never had to wait over 15 to 20 minutes for a prescription to be ready sometimes even less. Everybody behind the counter really cares about their customers and go above and beyond to help them. Which is far less than what I can say about Walgreens. If I could write Walgreens less than the one I would. read more

I have put up with this place for YEARS because we have so many prescriptions and I'm familiar with it. However today was the last straw! After receiving two calls saying I had prescriptions ready I went to the drive thru (after getting a soda at Wendy's) there were already 4 cars ahead of me. But knowing that they did civic testing at the drive thru ( which I appreciate) I waited patiently for 45 minutes. When I got to the window I told the girl I wanted to pick up my prescriptions. She said ok I have something for you. All good ... Right??? When she came back she said "I'm sorry but my pharmacist is on lunch break and I'm not able to give you the prescription." Needless to say I was very upset and no matter what I said she would not give me the prescription I've been picking up every 90 days for the last 30 years! I asked when the pharmacist would be back and she said "about 30 minutes" . I could take NO MORE and left! My husband said I should have told her "No problem .. I'll just wait here until she gets back" .. I'll keep that in mind. But actually I'm seriously going to investigate RiteAde. read more

I received service with a smile when I asked where i could find an item (nail polish remover). She didn't look at me like I was bothering her, she didn't roll her eyes at me, she didn't even speak to me in with a fake happy tone in her voice. The employee stopped what she was doing and walked me to the exact spot where the item was.
