Upon arriving to have my truck washed, I accepted an upsell from your sales representative for additional services, including treatment for the trim and seats. While waiting, I observed a detailing staff member behaving in a manner that appeared pressure-oriented toward customers regarding tips. While I initially paid little mind to this, it became a direct issue once my vehicle was completed. Before tipping, I inspected the front of my truck and found remaining bug residue on the body and trim. When I requested that this be addressed, the attendant made only a minimal effort--leaving several spots unresolved, so I had to clean portions myself. Despite the incomplete service, I still provided a gratuity. In response, the employee expressed clear displeasure, implying the amount was insufficient. Gratuity is meant to acknowledge exceptional service, not to be treated as a mandatory requirement--especially when basic detailing standards are missed. Given the incomplete work, a tip was not warranted. If aggressive tipping expectations and substandard quality control continue to be tolerated, I will take my business elsewhere in the future. I trust you will address these concerns with your staff promptly.
