I have been here many a time, and it seems like every time a machine has an issue with it. Either the brushes are broken, or the pressure guns do not work. This is the last straw! Today, as I was washing my vehicle, I attempted to foam brush it, and the hose leading to the brush was kinked and had a hole in it...spraying soap all over my vehicle. I only had so much money to spend on this wash, and had no more change to put in the machine to be able to wash the soap off. I had to drive off with a vehicle full of soap! Wound up completing the job in my driveway. Message to the owners: I understand this is a business "investment". Please invest in it, so that it may function properly. The touchless wash offered here is leagues better than Speedwash for a similar price. Best part was my car smelled great after the wash. They have new vacuums but they are disconnected due to COVID. read more

What a joke! This place is ghetto. I pulled in to wash my car and floor mats. After putting $5 in coins into the operator, I turned the selection dial to the "foaming brush" setting, only to discover THERE IS NO FOAMING BRUSH attached to the hose!!! So I proceeded to spray my car instead. The floor of the wash bay appears to have been cleaned sometime in the middle ages, it was filthy. The floor mat holders on the wall were in ill-repair, of the four only three are somewhat useable. Wash your car somewhere else. read more

Worst Self Car Wash I've ever been to. I am from out of state and had no idea this place was such a dive!! I have always preferred washing my own car and have gone to several different self service washes from here to Colorado. This one by far is the WORST!!! The facility was run down and the hoses were not working properly. The stalls were filled with dirt and mud. The change machines were not working, only one was working. As I started putting quarters in the wash machine, the indicator was not responding to acknowledge that my money was going in. I had put approximately $7.00 in the machine and I had about 3 minutes of time!!?! As I added more quarters that least rice my jeep, the time indicator shut off and the washers shut down!?!? I knocked on the office door and nothing! I went over to jiffy lube and asked the guys there about the carwash. They said that customers ALWAYS comedy complaining about the car wash facility saying that the customers money was taken or the wash wasn't working properly. They also said the owner is never there and that I should write a note and slip it under the office door!? Wow!! I tried calling the listed number and it was a fax machine sound. I've tried this quarter wash several times over the last 15 years, and each time after the disappointing first time I've kicked myself for thinking that anything might have improved. Sporadically, I'd see workmen out doing something, but nothing ever got better. It seemed even to go through a couple of changes of ownership with no discernible repairs or upgrades. So when I visited again last week, I was fully prepared to hate myself for falling for it again. Surprisingly, though, things have really changed. Although the exterior is mostly the same, the electronic panels where you insert your money and select which wash you want are completely new. I've never seen another one like it. These new ones don't take coins, so you have to have a debit card to kick things off. Once you do, you'll see that you get 10 minutes for $5, which seems high when for $6 there is a modern drive-through facility on Bear Valley Road that costs only one dollar more. High Desert car wash allows you duck in for a wash on this side of town, though, which I guess is worth a buck. As it turns out, ten minutes is a long time. Usually, you pay two or three bucks for a couple minutes, and then run out and have to feed in more quarters to get everything rinsed or whatever. With ten minutes, I could suds up my truck, rinse it off, spray it with the spot-free rinse (which actually worked for the first time in 15 years), and then still have time left over. I took advantage of the time to use the blower attachment to dry off some of the trouble spots around door handles, etc. One more thing that astonished me was the water pressure. I don't think I've ever seen that much water pressure at a quarter wash. I would advise caution as I'll bet you could strip paint if you got the wand too close to your vehicle. There are lots of bays but half of them are taped off, so if you arrive at a busy time you'll have to wait for one of the three bays to open up. With any luck, the improvements will continue until each bay is available and working. read more

Save your money! It seems the past 3 times Ive been to this Scam of a car wash. Ive been ripped off. Either out of soap, Tire Degreaser and High pressure rinse broken. Last time i was there in Dec. The main Water lin above the bay i was in was gushing out water due to being split probley from the freezing temps we get in the winter which meant i couldnt even rinse my car off. They list some Gmail email address to contact. I sent an email No response. The other 2x they ripped me off i left a note under the office door and of course again NEVER Contacted to correct the problem. I WANT A REFUND! SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! Very poorly maintained. If I could put a 0 star I would. What was the only functioning bay, was soo flooded. After I put 8 dollars in I found out why. There was a big hole in the hose most of the water ran on the ground and your feet. Most of the buttons didn't work. Find another place to go! read more

This used to be a decent place for a car wash. They did put in a new automated wash system a couple of years ago, which worked well for a while. But the place doesn't seem to be maintained. Yesterday I tried to use the auto wash, and it started soaping up the car, but then suddenly switched to the dryer without completing the cycle. I then went into a manual wash bay to try to wash off the soap. I put in 4 quarters and it started up. But then I added another quarter to extend the time--and it quit and demanded more quarters to start! There is no phone number or other way posted to contact the owner for refunds or complaints. I would advise avoiding this wash until it gets a needed renovation. read more

Zero stars! Do not use this car wash. Was doing the drive thru wash on Sat. and it stopped half way thru, and the blowers came on. No one in the office. So am out $6. phone number in book is a fax number so I tried to fax and that doesn't work either. Wrote a letter and copy of receipt to slide under the door, which I delivered today, Wed. I noticed a black limo with driver just parked to the side next to the office. Creepy, so I left. Will notify Town of Apple Valley...Also the day I went to wash my car the arm on the automatic wash seemed to keep swinging and hitting my outside right mirror. And when my car was all soapy the water not only stopped in my stall but also stopped on the guy in the next stall too. So sad...it used to be a good place to wash my car last year.
