The service is ALWAYS great! The young guys are awesome!! HOWEVER, I made my monthly stop to get both my tanks filled. A new young guy named Pedro serviced my tanks. He had ZERO manners and or appreciation when acknowledged. As Im always courteous to everyone this included Pedro he looked passed me and refused to acknowledge me at all! Obnoxiously rude! Never been treated like that before....but, the business and other guys employed there do an exceptional job, always a delight. Hope never to run into Pedro again though! read more

This place handles uhaul as well. That is what I'm commenting on. I came in to drop off a truck and trailer after having 4 major issues in LA picking it up and being sent all over San Fernando Valley. David was very courteous, friendly, and professional. He apologized for all the mistakes that have happened and was very sympathetic. He also went and is going over and beyond to help to fix the situations with the Los Angeles U-Haul locations. He was also juggling propane customers while trying to help me. So he is great at his job as well. I'll be back for propane. I just moved to Phelan and the house uses it. read more

Rented a enclosed trailer for two days but brought it back after less than 1 day of use and was told I would only be charged for one day. I asked again after the young man unhooked the trailer again if I'm only charged for one day and he confirmed that I'm all set and it's taken care of for 1 day only. Checking my bank account I noticed I'm still be charged for two days so I went in to inquire about when the 2nd day charge will be removed and this other sales rep on may 5th 9am told me I shouldn't have waited a week and that it's my fault and he can't do anything about it and he doesn't want to see me here for uhaul or propane ever again. This used to be a good business with good customer support but staff isn't who they were few years back. Businesses shouldn't hire hot heads who can't handle a simple situation and react with a hot temper. read more

I'm up in Wirghtwood every so often for family. I had to go do a grocery run (12/24/18) to get things for Christmas Day. We had to get our propane filled and they were really nice guys. One guy was just super outgoing and it's always good to know we have those people here. I do recommend going to this place. read more

I went here to refill all my propane bottles for my BBQ. The kid working there was very quick to serve us and helped load the bottles. I was actually going to give him a few dollar tip until I got charged and it seemed high. They don't itemize the receipt so I had to go figure it out. The best I can tell, they charged me for an extra half gallon of propane and then tacked on a dollar for kicks. I don't know if they do that to everyone or if he's just not good at math but thinks he is so he doesn't use a calculator. Either way I will just go to one of the other filling stations in town to see if they round up your ticket prices too. read more

Have been a customer since they opened, new very young manager leaves much to be desired as far as his customer service skills. Very rude. I called and he placed the phone on the counter. While I waited for him to come back on, I could hear all the conversations he was having with the others. As I was driving there, the phone was stiill lying on the counter. He yelled at me that they were too busy to answer the phone. I told him he didn't give me my next card reflecting how many gallons I still had left for my rebates, he was still yelling at me as I was leaving. Not a good manager, not good with customer service. This experience has left me with no choice but to go a block over for my propane service. Good riddance. read more

Great job - arrived a little after 7 am but they really did open at 7 am - in and out with 14 gallons o propane in less than 15 minutes - the service attendant even carried the 2 bottles out - thanks again !!!! read more

Phelan Propane: My wheelchair van goes down while my daughter is in the hospital. We get her home by ambulance, big dollars, but she has appointments down the hill. Phelan propane rents U-Haul vans. I call Phelan Propane and they tell me they don't have exactly what I need, but I should hang on for a minute. In a minute they find exactly what I need, made sure I was legal, set up the deal to pick the van up at another location. I don't have to make a phone call, pay in advance, nothing.
