Been going there for years and was supposed to be a veteran supported shop. Cost me $20 more to go there than a shop that doesn't. Nice way to take care of your Veterans. Lost our business. read more

Very efficient and friendly Quickly done I drove in without an appointment and they were very nice and took no time at all getting my truck done read more

Absolutely amazing!!! Quick honest service every time!!! I have been going here for years!!!

My old Bronco was due for a Smog Test. I brought it to Tony here at Affordable Smog and I was not disappointed. The wait was not long and he was thorough and quick to provide the results. The waiting room is clean and neat. It is a peaceful spot considering it is a smog shop. It is hard to find for some but it is behind Jiffy Lube and the Carwash on Outer Hwy 18. This is a State Licensed Facility. It is a Test Only Site. They handle, cars, trucks, suvs, hybrids, diesels, and motorhomes. If you are selling your car or it is due for a smog check, come here and get it done! Have a wonderful day and thank you for reading. read more

Affordable Smog Test - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Apple Valley, California

Nice staff and a little hard to find. But SO much better than the shop down the street (that's a mother of a shop). This is the place for low stress. read more

Was really happy with them. Very friendly; very fast; super happy with them! Would go there again for sure. Highly recommend!

In and out in 20 minutes friendly and informative techs will definitely be coming back here for all my smog needs from now on

I've been here a couple of times to have a smog check done. One was a pass and one was a fail. Both times the test was done professionally, so much so that the gentleman performing my failed test proceeded to test it again, just to make sure the numbers were constant and correct. He didn't tell me what it was, but that's not his job. He was courteous and professional. When it comes to automotive work performed on my vehicles, that's all I want. I don't need a best friend. Already have those:). I will continue to patronize this business. Thank you. read more

This place is fast & friendly. I highly recommend for your next smog test. Professional technicians.

Great service. Was open on Sunday. Fast friendly and courteous. Highly recommend him. Not your typical ahole smog guy.

This was my first visit to Affordable Smog Test. I was addressed promptly, told the approximate wait time, and the test was completed shortly. The waiting area was clean, and pleasant. Parking was convenient. The area is safe. I will return. read more

they were nice enough to get me in last minute as a walk in and the test was quick too, about 10 minutes. it did cost $60 which to me is not very affordable but the cost of everything has gone up, so fair enough. overall i would recommend! read more

Awesome people working here. Only took about 20 minutes start to finish, almost no wait. Cheap and friendly.

Nice and friendly customer service. They were really quick at getting everything checked. My mapping said it was across the street in an empty lot. So if that happens to you just go across the street. It's behind the car and dog wash building. read more

I needed to get my car smogged. I found Affordable Smog Test with a very good review. So I went to Affordable Smog Test. The gentleman was so kind and personable and friendly. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The location is not real obvious. It is off of Highway 18 behind Jiffy Lube and the Car and Dog Wash. (Yes! they have a bay where you can wash your dog, but you won't have time to wash your dog while getting smogged because the smog test is so fast.) In the area of Overland Meats. The price was right. I was VERY impressed with the service. read more

I read several reviews about this business & they mentioned Marshall as a person of quality & character and I must reiterate he is! I have a disability and found handicapped parking & accessibility and was in and out in under 10 minutes. Every other place I've been to has taken an hour or more. This business and Marshal will have my business from now on ... Thanks again & spread the word! read more

What incredible customer service! My first time here and it won't be my last. Quick and efficient - everything you need in a Smog Check center. Many thanks to Marshall for his service! read more

This is my third time coming here with the same vehicle over the course of just over 4 years. Each time it was a fast thorough job. When I grabbed my registration to show to them, I came across my other receipts, they haven't gone up in price that entire time. I'd recommend them to my grandmother. read more

First time in. Brought our son's first car, 2008 Chrysler, and hoped it would pass. It did. The prices are affordable and transparent. The service tech was friendly and informative. CASH only on the day we went (credit system was down) but not a huge issue. Thanks AL. read more

They are open for business!! Just had smog done there and it literally took 10min.- on a Saturday! They were apparently closed for a year(I didn't know that) so why not go here next for your smog testing Apple Valley? Super fast and friendly! read more

I went in today, was told busy, come back in an 1 1/2 hrs. So i come back. More paranoid / nonsense to keep me from gettin' r done. I've been going here for like 15 yrs with the same vehicle for my every two year inama because of the $35 coupon ad they run. But each time I go it seems to turn into more of a song and dance, It's a freekin smog check, it's not rocket science. Next day I went to another guy I use in Hesperia who charges $50 and I'm in and out in 10 mins. Sure, I paid $15 more, But my time is money too. I spent a day dickin around at this affordable smog to still end up going to a place that wants my business. read more

Have a new owner, but it is still a great place to smog your car. In and out in about 20 minutes. 50 bucks out the door without a coupon. Takes credit cards. read more

Went on a Thursday around 3pm. There were 3 other customers in front of me. I was surprised and very pleased at how fast it went. At first I was worried how long it would take but they worked very fast and got me all done a lot faster than what I expected. I was pleased with my experience and what is even cooler is it is owned and operated by 2 brothers who were super cool and friendly. I will use them in the future and recommend these guys to eveyone. read more

Not a happy camper! I had been waiting to get my car smog done, they usually have a coupon every few months for $35. I couldn't wait any longer ,so I figured I would just bite the bullet and pay full price $49.95. I mentioned to the gentleman behind the counter that I had been waiting for the new coupon to come out but needed to get it done. Got my smog done, paid my $49.95 and went home. Picked up the mail and low and behold what is in the mailer - a coupon for $35 smog. Instead of saying "hey, new coupon just came out, should be in your mailbox if you can do it another day, come back". NOPE, he let me pay full price...don't find that as a 5 star - customer oriented business... read more

The gentleman that helped me was kind and honest, that is rare these days. I will definitely be back and I recommend this place to all.

A little tricky to find behind another building. Guys were friendly and nice. Got the job done quick. Definitely would recommend

Staff was friendly and service was about 30 min total. I paid full price $49.75 out the door for a my sedan. Didn't find a Groupon or ad coupons. Don't know where they advertise. But it was across my Jiffylube and they recommend the place. The technician took his time to explain any good or not so good issues about vehicle to his customers while I waited. Honest place of business from what I saw and experienced. read more

Got it done for 40 bones. I was there only like 20 minutes and the guy who helped me was super cool. He saw I was a little nervous (Isnt everybody?) and he gave me the thumbs up right after he checked his computer to let me know that I passed. I know thats not a big deal but I thought it was way cool that he calmed my nerves as soon as he could instead of waiting for all the paperwork as I sat there in suspense. Thanks AAS. read more
