Went to this establishment on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman, sorry can't remember his name. He did the smog check gave me my paperwork and I was on my way to get my tags. All in one day!!! But there is this guy in the back that just hangs around. My Toyota Prius car registration required a smog check this year. So I went to Main Street Smog to get it done. They are STAR certified (there's a cute little car with the STAR sign). They only do smog. Cozy little place. They were recommended by another car repair business. It's great businesses are supporting other businesses... keep this up! When I got here, there was no other customer in front of me... good for me! Rick was the smog technician... really friendly, polite, and nice guy. He was quick with the task at hand. He took no more than 15 mins tops to complete the inspection. Smog inspection + certificate came out to be a total of $60.00. Can't ask for a better technician. Thank you Rick! I didn't know that depending on the year of the car, they either have to use a machine or it's all digital to check the smog. Luckily, my Prius was 2010. I learned something new that day. Give Main Street Smog a whirl when you're due a smog check. I'll be coming back here for all my future smog checks. Happy Passing! read more

Rick, the owner, told us on the phone that the process may take 15 to 20 minutes, we pulled up, he walked out, drove the car into the smog shop and had us out in 15 minutes. Awesome service! We came for a smog test at 9 AM on a Saturday, there was no line and we were helped right away! The technician had our smog test completed in less than 5 minutes, super easy and it cost us the standard $40 to have the test done. I highly recommend this place for your smog as it's extremely easy and you can get on with your day :) I don't know the name of the technician but he was awesome as well, very friendly and really knows what he's doing. Wow, this is the place to have your smog check done on your car. Owner super friendly and very fast. He said that the info is transmitted at midnight which probably means that the DMV doesn't process until midnight. At any rate I will continue to bring my cars here to smog. read more

Great service QUICK gets the job done Star certified Done in 15 or 20 minutes I had to get a Star inspection on a 98 suburban 1st place I went to didn't know what they were doing so wouldnt test. These guys knew what they were doing and I passed!! read more
