Messed up my medication too many times to count. There hours are awful as well. They are never open.

The staff at Walgreen especially in the Pharmacy area are extremely rude and unprofessional in every respect Because of their total ignorance and incompetency I've refused to do any further business with this store. Listed as a FedEx return location but they can't help you unless you have a QR code. I have a barcode from the company I'm issuing the return through but not a QR Code. They said they can't do it because they can't print labels for the package. Then why is it listed as a shipping service if they can't provide the full service! FedEX doesn't specify if the location you're going to is an actual FedEx or Walgreens so you waste your time. read more

I have been shopping at this Walgreens's location for over 10 yrs. never had any problems. Until today I went to pick up my RX. My Dr called in last week. I was told it would be awhile because they returned it. Because I didn't pick it up. Ever time I went in last week between the hours of 9-5 the pharmacy was closed. When they said they would be open. They knew the pharmacy was closed last week many people couldn't pick up their RX if it is closed. Taking my business elsewhere. Ordering my RX online. They lost a customer who spends $Thousands of Dollars a year. read more

I'm not a big fan of writing low star reviews, preferring to build up business rather than tear them down. I'll make a slight exception for this one with, in my mind, for good reason. While technically filling my Rx as written, the location constantly (five of out six months) gave me the wrong brand name on my generic Rx. This brand name was the SOLE reason I was having this Rx filled at this location as it's not the one closest to my home. Having literally grown up working and later managing Drug Stores (Osco) I'm a big fan of generic drugs-low cost and by all visible means, same active ingredient. What I found out the hard way was that in the case of my maintenance drug, moving from one brand name to another cold turkey really upset my system. I sought out the original brand and this Walgreens to fulfill my needs. Problem is, they consistently filled it with the wrong brand even though my record in their files (in Capital letters by the way) spelled out which brand this was to be filled with. So each time, it would cost me 30 minutes while they fixed their mistake. I know there are a number of safety stop-gaps in place to ensure patients receive the correct medication (bar codes, drug interaction screening, etc.) but the Pharmacist really need to pay closer attention to the job at hand, rather than simply relying on technology to get them through a day of filling bottles. read more

My doctor called in a prescription on 11-2-23. I went to get it last night at 7:10 PM. It was not ready. It appeared to me that the staff seemed more interested in getting out right at 8 PM. To be fair the pharmacist offered to fill it right away, but it would take 20-25 minutes to do. I couldn't wait because I had to pick up my daughter at the school. I went back this morning to be told that it wasn't scheduled to be ready until 11-4-23. This store was a lot better at filling prescriptions in a timely manner. This is not the first time this has happened in the last year. I'm starting to see why a lot of my neighbors have moved their prescriptions to Frys or Walmart. I have an issue that is not cancerous at this time, but if untreated, it could turn into cancer. I was suppose to start the meds as soon as possible. read more

Constantly understaffed. I don't think I've ever been on hold for under 30 mins. They never have all your prescriptions ready. Never have I been to a pharmacy where they don't even answer the phone. read more

Photo, pharmacy (drive-in), health clinic, beer/wine and photo services at this location in addition to all of the normal stuff. Even though I asked for a basic over-the-counter medication, she acted like an Inspector General and started quizzing me as to why I needed the stuff. Give me a break. This review is more towards the pharmacy. I don't know what happened but whatever it was, I thank you. Maybe 6 months ago or more this place was hard to come to. Slow, frustrated employees, and almost never open. Over the past six months I have come here multiple times and have been extremely happy with their customer service. Everyone I have talked to, during my multiple visits, has been happy and eager to help. They are quick to support and I have never waited more than five minutes. Highly recommend this location now. Store doesn't enforce disabled parking spaces restrictions. Turns a blind eye when a violator is parked in the reserved space that holds a fine of several hundreds of dollars. Glendale PD lack of enforcement as well. read more

Only reviewing because I can't believe how ridiculous the Healthcare Clinics new system is. We came here because my son brought home strep (yuck!!!) and my husband and I are both pretty sick. We work nights and don't have a lot of time for ourselves between Kiddo's activities, trying to find time for sleep, and work. So a walk in was the best, nay, only option. The nurse manager Judy (? I think. She identified herself as "the manager" but wouldn't give her managers info nor any number to call) told us upon signing in that we would need to wait over 3 hours to be seen despite the fact that the lobby was completely empty, and the kiosk showed an available appointment for 0940 hours. She stated "Well. I can't control that computer," and told us we could not have that appointment, then went on to tell me that my insurance was "rejected"... funny, I've been a state employee with the same insurance for over 6 years and we have come to Walgreens walk in clinics periodically over that time. In fact my husband just used one a little over a week ago, no issues with insurance. She said if I wanted to be seen we could wait 3 hours but I would have to pay out of pocket. Based on her generally disdainful attitude, I have little doubt Judy(?) judged me based on the fact that I'm dressed in sweatpants, with no makeup, and I look like a wreck. I'm sick, I work full time, and I'm a mom. This pharmacy has gotten worse and worse over the years. They need to hire more staff and communicate better with their customers.

I've been using this pharmacy for about ten years even with so many choices in the area because the customer service had always been great. Recently, though, things have gone downhill. I'm not sure if the staff turned over, but they are no longer nice and are very impatient. I will be moving my prescriptions. read more

If I could I would rate negative. I shop frequently at this Walgreens and know most of the employees whom are very nice. My husband and I spend at the very least a few hundred a month here. Not anymore though. I will go out of my way not to shop here ever again. Well the other day I met an assistant manager Phillip whom I have never met. He told me he was the manager but learned of his true position after speaking with Walgreens corporate office. He was very rude and belittling regarding purchases I was making. I have never experienced this before and was shocked. I even called back to talk to him about it thinking I will give him another chance. I was very nice and tried to speak to him about his customer interaction skills...I was nice and just thought hey if he saw my view well he was the most awful person I have every spoken with. Oh and when I first asked for the manager he said he was. Anyway CVS is already reaping the rewards. I spent over $300 today. Too bad since I like the cashiers and enjoyed seeing them. Jut dropped off a prescription and had a question for the pharmacist. Asked since they were both the same medication but different scripts that they would not void each other out. I was told rudely "wait time is 1.5 hours to have refilled " when I asked the question again she looked at me like why did you even come in here today. Still no answer so I told her I would wait and she walked away. I guess walgreen is forgetting what customer service is. I don't have to get them filled there. read more

Worst pharmacy ever!! They put my on the Shingles list back in July 2018. Called In January 2019 to find I wasn't on the list and was told now I'm 70th now. And they only get 10 doses a month. Thank goodness my wife saw that the Safeway on Happy Valley had the vaccine. Drive there and in less than 20 minutes, I got the vaccine. Hope the Walgreens corporation sees the negative review the store is getting and fires some of the managment and employees. BTW,the Walgreens on Happy Valley and 67th ave is just as bad. read more

So I've been to this Walgreens a few times since it's convenient for the chores that I run around the area. I have NOT dealt with the pharmacy or clinic as I see there are quite a few lower rated reviews for that. This review is for the rest of the store. I especially went there for the makeup section which I will say is nicely stocked and organized. There wasn't too many staff members around the store but it wasn't busy so not needed. The cashier was standing there waiting for me, which honestly is huge because for some reason alot of drugstores they are somewhere else in the store and hard to find. I keep going back here because Walgreens tend to have the new releases of certain makeup brands and this one is much cleaner than previous places I have been to. read more

I called the Pharmacy at this location to see if they had Bronkaid pills seeing as Walgreens has always carried them and when I went to a different location they were out...whomever answered the phone at this location when she said they were out too and I asked if she had any suggestions because I literally need these to live, her recommendation was "I suggest going to your doctor and getting albuterol"..hmmm, first of all lady Albuterol is used as a rescue for emergencies while Bronkaid is for asthma maintenance, second of all I don't have insurance or a doctor so thanks for your ill informed and obviously rude yet lacking in any sort of medical knowledge about my condition recommendation and third of all, if you don't even know what types of asthma medications are used for what type situation you need to hand the phone off to someone else who does, seriously you are one rude idiot and should be fired read more

EXPECT/ To be told other customers are in front of you on phone and drive through by a person that will quickly dismiss any response. To get the wrong scripts. To be discriminated against as each person will be treated differently depending on what mood the staff is in. Note: This is their way of doing things before COVID 19. To wait and be speaking to Sociopaths that are so desensitized they could care less what your needs are. Are the staff taking the meds or is this enjoyable to torture sick people? Located on 67th ave. just north of Deer Valley, on west side of street. This place is normally fairly clean, has a lot of customers, and has a good selection of stuff. Only complaint is the darn loitering kids from the nearby school who dress like homeless hipster types. read more

Every time I come in they have some sort of nasty attitude and can never have anything ready on time. I never choose to come in but every time I do there's always another patient in front of me also complaining about how bad service is here. I am so disappointed! I made an appointment for 8:50 am. I physically arrive to the clinic at 8:49 am, however, there was a person trying schedule an appointment on the ONLY computer available. This person was on the computer for more than 5 minutes! The NP never came out to check if ppl were outside, she was chatting very loud with what appeared to be a coworker because they were complaining about their job. So i decide to knock on the door because i am aware that appointments are cancelled if we are late. Knock once. nothing. Knock again but louder. RUDE and FEISTY woman with short/blonde haircut (i wish i got her name) came out. I explained i had an appt at 8:50 and arrived right on time but someone had been using the computer the entire time and i wasn't able to check in. She tells me im too late and need to make another appt. I tell her i was on time but the computer was not available for me to check in. She then tells me she is with another person and i will have to wait. I wait 10 minutes...NOTHING. She just continues chatting it up inside with a person who does not seem to be a patient (based on their conversation, because you can hear it all). I decided to leave because I am sick, and I do not want this arrogant and rude person handling any of my health consult. If she is a bad person she is probably a bad healthcare provider. I am now driving to a clinic much further from my home. I recently moved to glendale and my New PCP couldn't see me on such short notice since I am a new patient. read more

I received an email stating that my photo order was ready for pickup at Walgreens store #4434. On arrival, I was told that the order was not yet ready and that I would have to wait 20 mins because there was a large order being printed ahead of mine. The photo clerk was very nonchalant and unapologetic about the situation. When I spoke to 2 managers on duty, the only compensation I was offered was a 10% discount on my $2.90. My time spent waiting was worth 29 cents to Walgreens. Talk about adding insult to injury. I will never shop at store #4434 ever again and I'm moving my prescription refills to a competitor. Scheduled a quick PPD placement for 6:30. Waited around until 7:15 with 2 appointments still in the "waiting room" ahead of me before deciding to leave. No updates. My 17 year old twins went into the store on black Friday they where looking to test toys in order to shop for eachother and others .They appear as young children due to being so short .The lady that worked there asked some lady if they belonged to her and than approached my two girls in a very rude manner and said that they where not suppose to test the toys that have buttons that say push me well I'm a adult and I push those myself all the time .We where wallgreens customers prior to today we used the photo and always went in there for beer ect we will no longer be going to wallgreens my girls don't like to be treated like children when they are techanically adults .They just built a CVS over hear maybey they will have nice friendly employees . read more
