I've really grown to like this place and I'm finding myself stopping here more often to save the hassles of dodging traffic to/at big markets. The service is great, the pharmacy fast and efficient and the shelves well stocked with diverse selection merchandise. This Walgreens takes me back to the old 'neighborhood' drug stores. Not soda fountains and burgers old -- but the Gus's Drugs we used to have and then the old Eckerd's. Plus, the pharmacy is thoroughly modern and efficient. They've got everything you can imagine (or couldn't have imagined) on the shelves which always makes drug stores like this interesting to browse. Their neat shelves have everything from heated, vibrating foot massaging contraptions to ice cream treats. Greeting cards are offered in enormous variety. If you've got a fever and the only cure is more cowbell....well, they don't have cowbells. But probably a cow plush and 50 cures for flu and cold. THE PHARMACY is very good and offers steep discounts with insurance or various programs they can guide you toward. They use automated call/text for prescription arrivals and notice when it's been picked up. They also offer all seasonal shots. I find the staff courteous and quick to serve. I won't dock points for not having cowbells, but I'll look for Bluebell ice cream or a competitor next time I'm in as I find myself utilizing their convenience more frequently. read more

I went into this Walgreens for a few essentials. It is fully stocked with a bit of everything. The isles are clean and the store is brightly lit. They have a greeting card isle that has the basic card needs, but no holiday cards . They have a drive thru pharmacy, a photo printing area and propane out front. The parking lot is spacious. I was able to find everything I needed and a few more things I wanted. Upon checking out, The customer service was sub-par. The checker was not paying attention to me, to the point of asking me if I had a rewards account, and I said yes, then she said, you don't ok, and began ringing up my order. I said "I said yes I do", she then stopped so I put in my number and received a discount. She then put my items in a bag, left it in her work area and began visiting with a coworker. We went here today for Covid, flu and shingles vaccines after making an appointment yesterday. The store was not crowded and the pharmacy didn't have customers waiting for prescriptions. There was one other person waiting for a vaccination. After filling out the required forms which only took a few minutes. Probably waited 10 minutes total. I think we caught it on a good day. The pharmacy staff front slideshow told me that my medicine would be ready in 20 minutes - with back pain and had to walk in while they power washed the drive-thru. Told medicine would be ready in 20 minutes. I called and it was not. Person on the phone RUDE told they would have it filled in 5 minutes. This review is for a guy who works in the afternoons from couple of months as a cashier. Please give him some training or put him into classes where he learns how to deal with customers. I am reviewing this only after 3rd incident. Wheather he doesn't like his job or me or what I buy but he has to be active when he is in front of customers. He doesn't care at all. No hi/hello or thanks at all. But that's not why I am reviewing. I don't go to this store to hear thank you or to talk to anyone. But this guy takes a ton of time on unnecessary things which is annoying me. Every time he does not give me option to put my number, so I have to ask him back. I have a digital receipt but he waits for receipt and holds whatever I am buying in his hands. He straight watches in my face and gives a bag like he is doing a favor to me. Every single time. It is so repetitive. Today I went in with a happy mood and came out frustrated. I am not going to raise my blood pressure after this man or store. Sorry, train your staff or put self checkout. I wish I could remember his name. A young man with long hair was stocking shelves and helped me get my photos and check out. He was very friendly and helpful as he told me about the toys on sale and made sure I got my discount. I was there with my 1.5 yr old son and ended up leaving my wallet in the shopping cart when I left. When I called about it the next day, they had found it and were holding it for me. Stay Away From This Place!!! I don't know who is managing this store, but in this past year, it's gone way downhill. There's a weird blonde, heavy-set kid that runs the cash register who is rude, obviously doesn't want to be there and almost scary in his demeanor. I don't have many prescriptions filled, but the past two I've had to have filled have been messed up. Please check and make sure that you receive what you are supposed to receive. Over all the whole experience has been dismal. And they used to have some friendly, lovely, competent people working there. I won't be coming back to this place. I would avoid this store. I sent my sister in to pick up my script because the drive thru was 6 cars long. She was handed a script and told the amount. When she got back to the car I realized she had picked up the wrong medication and I got in the drive thru immediately. Once up to the window the person inside closed the blind and put a sign out for lunch (I was the last car in line.) Through the speaker she told me she had a 12 hr shift and needed a lunch break. I understand, but this needs to be resolved! She told me to come back after 2pm. When I returned they wouldn't take the other meds back because I left the pharmacy. I DID NOT LEAVE THE PHARMACY! I got in their drive thru line! The other script was $162. Sorry, ma'am. Next time tell your sister to verify the script. Um, no, that's your job. I'm going to CVS. By far the worst patient care I have ever received from a pharmacy. They are not open 24 hours and they close everyday for a "meal break" because they apparently can't figure out how to schedule staff efficiently. On Saturday I limped into the store to pick up my prescription and the staff closed the sliding steel door 2 min prior to 6 PM - while watching me struggle to get to the counter. I had a complete knee replacement and needed that medication filled!! I spoke to them as I was trying to make it to the counter - they ignored me and refused to help. Multiple times I have gone to pick up prescriptions and they routinely "forget" at least one of them, or they have neglected to resolve any insurance/billing concerns prior to my arrival to pick up prescriptions. Their text message notification system is not accurate. I regularly get notifications that my prescription is ready, and arrive to pick it up & they tell me no, this isn't eligible to be refilled until XYZ date..... read more

Regarding the Walgreen's at 3204 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas Walgreen's: I have been shopping and filling prescriptions at this always neatly organized clean Walgreen's beginning in November 2016. I have arrived at this Walgreen's at all hours and days and without exception been welcomed by whomever is cashiering at the store entrance. Every member of the team whom I've sought help from has stopped what they were doing and assisted me, always with a gracious manner and reflecting knowledge of the store and its inventory. On rare occasion they didn't know the answer they asked a colleague and that colleague was kind and helpful to both their team member and myself! The crown jewel is the very smart, articulate, calm, kind-spoken Pharmacist SUNEET! What stands out is SUNEET's calm unflappable demeanor despite surges of seemingly insurmountable volume of humanity at every window seeking his knowledge all handled in a stellar gracious professional manner! The Pharmacy team, each and every one is exceptional in their efficiency and ability to deal with the often observable impatient, rude, inarticulate public! However, I have observed these occasions many times and can testify that the Pharmacy team is ALWAYS nice, patient and a professionally remarkable team! read more

I was in line at the drive up window for a prescription. Just one car ahead of me and no cars behind me. I had been waiting for several minutes when an employee came out and placed a sign in front of my car. She said that the pharmacy will be closing in one minute for lunch and I would need to come back. Apparently they don't know how to stagger their lunch breaks. Good customer service would dictate that she place the sign behind my car since there was no one behind me. I just needed one medication that would have been a very quick pick up. read more

My doctor's office told me to go to my pharmacy to register for the covid vaccine. My pharmacy (Walgreens) told me to go to their website. the website gave me the run-around and put me in an endless loop with no place to register for anything. I talked to the pharmacist in the store and was told that there was no vaccine, and they were not preparing a list. I understand that there is no vaccine. But why are they not preparing a list to be used when the vaccine becomes available? I just want to get myself and my husband registered. He is 76, overweight, type 2 diabetic, has a heart blockage, and asbestosis. I am 77, overweight, type 2 diabetic, and on three different blood pressure meds. WHY is there no list started? I keep reading that there is a "plan". But it appears that there is not anything even being started. It may take additional help to manage a "plan", but there are many people out of work. This has been my preferred pharmacy and miscellaneous store for many years. Employees of all departments have always been helpful. Pharmacy keeps busy inside and out, but should not be surprised with our community's average age creeping up, but help are always cheerful, even when extra busy. Of necessity, I have used other Walgreen and CVS stores, and even Wally; this is still my preferred store. read more

Not a fan at all of this place. First, you know these places are more expensive than they need to be but you know that going in. What you don't know is that their pharmacy takes an hour lunch break where they close everything down. One time we had an issue with a prescription and called... got a very rude lady who said Ok... you need to hold.. No one ever came to the phone. (This was a call center who knew they were closed for the hour and just put you on hold). Even the pharmacist assistant needed a better attitude. he clearly did not want to help and said he was too busy and to contact him tomorrow. Why bother... This has got to be the worst Walgreens I've ever experienced. Besides being rude to boyscouts and girlscouts that they allow to sell popcorn and cookies, they're rude to their normal customers. The straw that has broken the camel's back for me is them closing their pharmacy at least 10 minutes early on a Saturday night. Instead of getting my meds after surgery at my normal pharmacy, I had to have it transferred to another Walgreens. I have been a customer of this pharmacy since 2012 and have loved all the staff and willingness to help, however in the last year or so, it has been significantly declining. The pharmacy staff are inattentive, un-knowledgeable, and uncaring. The one pharmacist, Suneet is the only one that is stellar, however he has been there through all the changes. Prescriptions aren't refilled in a timely manner and when there is a problem, nothing is communicated until I've gone for a 2nd or 3rd time to pick up the prescription, only to find out it is still not ready. Pharmacy is always incompetent! Always asking for insurance info again and again. Always saying my rx isn't ready yet. Then I have to tell them they just text or called they it is. Then they "find" my ex in the system and say oh come back in a few hours! Toting two little kids around in and out of car seats, I don't have time for your errors and wasting my time coming back and forth when you tell me it's ready and it isn't. Everyone here is incompetent including the pharmacists. The staff has ALWAYS been rude every single time I go. They have zero understanding for someone having sick kids or being in a hurry. Either the computer system here needs updating or they need to be retrained to use it! They always stare at the computer not talking for like 10 minutes.
