This is the worst pharmacy experience I have had in my life. I have a bad case of whooping cough. My doctor had faxed in a prescription for an inhaler and a chamber. It took two hours, three turns through the drive through, three clerks and the pharmacist to get my medicine. It was definitely Walgreens fault. Multiple layers of incompetency. I am well educated, English speaking, had a phone, and the doctor's number, kept on pushing even though I was sick. I just wanted my medicine. Nobody thought to check the computer carefully, question why the phone number and address didn't match what I told them, why the insurance would say they paid for an item I said I had not received, and why there would be a prescription for a chamber and not an inhaler, or to call the doctor to figure it out. If their was a way to give Walgreens Pharmecy LOWER THAN A 1 I would, they are the WORST!! Constantly getting prescriptions wrong, NEVER calling the doctor for renewal's???/ Incredibly stupid clerks (In this employment crunch I cannot believe the brain dead drones that work their)??? This pharmacy is the worst. Always takes forever. Told we my prescription would be ready in 2 hours I get home in 45 minutes and get a text saying it's ready then I go back and wait in line for an hour with 2 people in front of me why?? Really this place sucks. Every time it's the same shit. Get more staff for the volume. If my insurance didn't make me come here I wouldn't at all. Terrible service. read more

It's a nice Walgreen's. They didn't have what I was looking for. But, I did see a lot of great sales and i took advantage of some. A staff member asked me if I needed help and that doesn't happen often. That was nice. I will be back again... read more

Only 1 star and the pharmacy doesn't even deserve that. I've made 3 trips after the automated notification called and advised me that my prescriptions where ready in the am the pm and at 11 pm. They never seem to have it ready and the staff has the habit of making up stories trying to always place the blame on the doctors staff. read more

The pharmacy staff are very unfriendly people. I have been asked twice, on different occasions, to step aside when it is my turn so that a friend of the staff maybe served before me. I get texts/ calls saying my prescriptions are ready, however when I go to pick them up, at least one is not ready. Or Martha tells me I did not submit my refills correctly.. HAHA, Thanks Martha. I have no issues at the Santa Cruz Walgreens, even with the homeless ppl who roam outside; I only ever have issues with the Watsonville Walgreens. More training is needed in the pharmacy department. read more

Just came back yet again without my prescription. This pharmacy is the worst. I am going to have all my prescriptions transferred to Target. At least they let you know when your prescription is ready, and they do it in a timely manner. read more

I have given the pharmacy any number of chances, but never again. Horrible service. Waited in line for at least 20 minutes and moved up one position. 6 in line. While I was standing in line, they called an older gentleman to the counter who had been sitting down waiting after what I suppose dropping off his prescription. He was standing there 10 minutes and still was waiting while the clerk was attending to many other things. They take forever to answer the phone, I do not even do that anymore. Prescriptions not ready after being sent by the doctor 2-3 days after because they did not have some information needed, yet they never attempted to secure what they needed or advised. I spend hundreds of dollars each month and have now transferred all of my prescriptions. Try Rite Aid up the street, fast fulfillment and they message you when ready. read more

Went in to pick up photos. The employee by the name viva told me rudely that the photo lab was closed. Gave me an attitude about something spilt that had to be cleaned up . So I went to the cashier to continue with my purchases and viva proceeded to help other customers after saying the photo lab was closed. I let the cashier who helped me know the situation and they told me that's how she is with every customer and that she doesn't like to help people. I think she should not have a job there if this is the service she gives to those who give Walgreens business. I will not be back . read more

Every single time, I drop off or have a prescription sent here, we have to wait 20 minutes. It doesn't matter if it is several hours later or just sent. They wait until you are there then they fill it. We have tried calling first and they say yes it is ready, same result. Argh! read more

I had an unfortunate incident with "Wayne" the pharmacist. I have been getting my Rx's -the same exact ones EVERY MONTH- since June 2005. Common sense would indicate that when looking at my history, if the same prescriptions are filled monthly, perhaps there should not be any issue with filling the same ones again. However, he insists that my Doctors scribble has been "altered" and retained my prescription awaiting my Doctor to call him on a Friday night at 7 pm. I am SOL and have chronic back, hip and leg pain. I AM CRANKY from the aching and his ignorance. My doctor undoubtedly will not be calling him until Monday, therefor I have to suffer the whole weekend due to his irrational paranoia. I get this filled monthly! For 4 years! There MUST be some consumer law that protects innocent people from morons like him. If anyone knows of such law, please say so. I could understand if it was a new prescription, but the same exact one, same doses and everything! Ridiculous. Karma is alI can hope for. read more
