On August 19, 2025, I went to the Walgreens on 1831 N. the Trevino where I go every week to shop. Before paying, I showed the cashier an e-coupon I was going to use and she told me it would be honored at the end of the purchase. However, after I paid, it wasn't honored and when I brought it to her attention, she told me it would be honored days later. As a steady customer there I knew that was a lie. If an advertise offered is not honored at the time of the transaction, it will never be honored and I told the cashier that. By then she became defensive and not very nice. I told her that if the advertised coupon was not going to be honored, I wanted my money back. She became difficult and I asked to talk to her supervisor. Ashley, the supervisor, had no idea of how to handle that and became just the defensive and difficult. She and the cashier kept me there waiting for approximately 40 minutes. For customers like me who shop there every week. It's easy to catch lies like the one that the cashier was putting out. Employees who deal with customers directly should get some type of training before putting them out there to make Walgreens look bad. read more

It's pretty much like every other Walgreens...nothing spectacular but nothing that terrible either. Like some reviews mention, the pharmacy hasn't been great at this specific location. I have to agree with that. I've had issues with them in the past. They take a long time to fill a prescription (an hour or longer, even if you're waiting there inside of the store!) and they sometimes don't accept your insurance. I brought some of my son's prescriptions here in the past and had problems. I walked out very upset. This was a few years back. I also think their pharmacy is pricer than Walmart or CVS. I usually go to CVS inside of Target nowadays. They fill the prescriptions quick and are friendlier over there. I go to the one at Sunland Park or George Dieter. Getting back to Walgreens... I usually come to this location only when I need to buy a few items. For example, cough drops, water, beauty products, snacks, etc. Walgreens is kind of pricey so I don't come that often. I have their rewards thing which helps every once in awhile. The staff is alright. I appreciated them opening up more lines to pay instead of only having one open. I like some of their holiday decorations for Halloween and Christmas. I especially like them when they go on sale the day/days after. I want to say the items are 50 percent off the day after the holidays...it could be a little bit less. I'll sometimes buy candy or Christmas tree ornaments when on sale. I love tree ornaments! I also love discounted chocolate! I've also come to this location on Christmas Day and they're open. I've needed to buy batteries or something for a last minute gift, small items like that. Yeah, so I recommend coming here if you need to stock up on a few items. I don't know how their pharmacy is these days but hopefully it's better than a few years back. The pharmacy also has a drive-thru here. I think most Walgreens have one. I know I'll be back sometime soon! read more

The worse pharmacy ever! I wish I could give 0 stars. They schedule vaccines before 8:00an, you arrive early to wait. I stood at the counter 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. The Pharmacist apparently was pulled over and running late. But here's the kicker, when he does arrive, he says - sorry ma'am we don't have your vaccine in stock. No one else could tell me that. The website that constantly sends reminder emails couldn't confirm. And what really upsets me is their nonchalant, don't care attitude. If these places don't have enough staff to service their customers then consolidate your stores. RIDICULOUSLY HORRIBLE! read more

When it comes to 24 hour pharmacies, your options are limited. There is a CVS nearby but I cannot attest to whether or not it is better. I've been to this Walgreens 4 times now to fill/pickup a script. There is ALWAYS an extremely long line on the drive thru, there is also a line usually inside. The employees are nice enough but it appears they have the pharmacist assisting costumers inside, to include ringing up the customers, and you often have to wait to talk to them before they'll send you your meds. Each time I've been it's been for something quick but it has never taken me less than 45 minutes. I have no idea why they don't have a more streamlined process or why it takes so ridiculously long but again, at midnight, with a sick child there isn't much out there to choose from. If possible, I will avoid this location and suggest you do too. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. First off, you will wait forever in line (even though they have two lanes they still only have one person working the drive thru and they can't multitask, so they might as well just have one line). No matter what time of day you go, there's always a line. They gave away my prescription and didn't even bother to call me and when I went to go pick it up, they were about to charge me and then realized they didn't even have my prescription!!! What the hell! And then they had the audacity to tell me that I can call around to see if someone else had it. I told them to call for me but they never did and never even called to tell me anything about it. They're horrible. I've even had other Walgreens pharmacies warn me about this Lee Trevino location. Worst service ever. They called me and told me prescriptions were ready. I get here and then at the drive through they tell me it's not ready. To come inside and wait. I asked how long it would take and they said 10 min. This is after waiting 30 min in line with one car ahead of me. So I go inside and I'm waiting for 30 min and I'm still waiting. Sick as a dog and sit here. Why in the world would you call and confirm prescriptions are ready when they aren't! read more

Staff is fine but the line to drop off and pick up pharmaceuticals is the worst. Used them for a few months after Coleman's closed but have since switched to Ad Vantage on Lomaland and I am very pleased with them. read more

Once again, I have found Walgreens to be a reliable source of immediate consumables, as well as needed-cash when using my debit card. I was quite delighted to find Starbucks "Black Coffee" available, which has become my go-to source of starting my day when biketouring and no other source for that energizing elixir is available. As with all of the associate cashiers, Norma quickly checked me through and I was able to finish lunch/return to my teaching position at Hanks HS in plenty of time to continue assisting my students. This walgreens was a huge waste of time after waiting in the drive thru for a long time I lite a cigarette and was told by the girl at the window that tgd pharmacist said if we smoke in his drive thru again he would deny us service. I was told our prescription for my 2 year old daughter would be ready by 630. At 630 my husband called just to be sure it was ready and they said it would be another hour.. At 820 we came to pick it up and was told we needed to park and come in???? And I asked what was wrong? Why do I need to get down? And another lady came up to the window and said they were sorry about the inconvenience but they were having troubles opening up the prescriptions in the system so come to find out they hadn't even started the prescriptions.. I gave them the 30 minutes and still waiting for my daughters prescriptions. I would never come back to this walgreens pharmacy if they paid me!! Don't waste ur time at this location! I am filing a huge complaint against this pharmacy! read more

I will absolutely never go to this pharmacy again. The store itself is fine. I used to go here because it was closest for medications, but often long lines, long waits and incompetent pharmacy register employees would convince me to not go, and then a year would pass and I would try it again. After several years of playing this "give them another chance" game, I have finally decided never again. They have told me they applied my insurance when they didn't, on several occasions. They have told me that the medication would be ready when it still wasn't for hours, on many occasions. They were going to give my daughter a medication that was over $100 more than if they had called the doctor to confirm it was the cheaper not the more expensive medicine, since it could have gone both ways, the other pharmacy we went to did call and the doctor was surprised that Walgreens was trying to do that. They have told me my insurance was expired when it wasn't. They have told us the insurance denied it when they didn't. They ALWAYS have someone "new" working the register, is what I hear when I complain about the ineptitude of the staff. If you value your sanity stay away from this Walgreens. I would rather drive across town than to deal with these fools. I have NEVER experienced this level of asininity anywhere else. read more

If possible I would give this store a negative rating. The pharmacy staff are amazing as each iteration seems to be worse than the last. If long waits and uninterested staff members are something you desire in a pharmacy, then a five star recommendation is warranted. As for me, my family and friends, CVS or Walmart will have to suffice. read more

This pharmacy location never disappoint with a 30 minute wait just to drop off a prescription. If you want to wait another hour to pick it up only to find hat they didn't have your medication this is your place. Customer service is the last item on their list at this location. read more
