When we asked a young employee for assistance locating items, she was polite and pointed us in the right general direction, although more specific guidance would have been helpful. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was frustrating. The credit card machine was not functioning properly, and after several unsuccessful attempts to complete the transaction, we ended up paying with cash just so we could be on our way. The exterior of the store also left a poor impression. The parking lot appeared unkempt, and the trash can outside was overflowing with garbage. Seeing a "No Needles" warning sticker on top of the trash receptacle only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere and raised concerns about the surrounding area. The one positive was that the Gatorade was on sale, which earned the store an extra point. However, between the maintenance issues, the payment difficulties, and the overall condition of the property, this location felt somewhat neglected and did not provide the experience I typically expect from Walgreens.

Worst pharmacy EVER! I got yelled at by some type of pharmacy manager because I said they ordered…read morethe wrong item for my prescription. I told her that is not what my doctor sent in. She yelled again that it was and that now they were stuck with it because I was not going to buy it. After many phone calls between my doctor and Walgreens, I found out that Walgreens no longer would order my prescription in the form I needed. Walgreens changed the prescription my doctor ordered into a form that they WOULD order! My prescription was for medication in a vial that I could draw my own injection from. Instead, they changed it to an an auto-inject pen. The quantity was the same, but the auto-inject pens cost $400 more per month than if I draw up my own shot. I never knew they could make a change like that. Plus, the lady yelling at me was totally unacceptable. I quit getting my prescriptions there and am saving money using Amazon Pharmacy now! Good bye Walgreens!

(We did find a few of the people working a bit rude (the young woman working at the deli counter seemed to not want to be bothered to help anyone and then tried to overcharge us, the other was the woman stocking shelves who seemed very perturbed when asked a question about where an item was located. I went in an talked to the gentleman at the front desk, and he started the process- Kai and his co-worker ultimately took the lead on the situation, determined what needed to be done, offered options, and got us confidently back on the road - a bit past 7:00. Everyone was professional and friendly, and there appeared to be a true team atmosphere in the shop. Kai was exceptional tho- going beyond what we expected - a great experience at a stressful time. It seems like they are almost always out of certain items. Many of these are the kind of things that are popular enough that an astute manager would make more of an effort to keep adequate stock on hand. Some things are constantly and repeatedly out, as though the pandemic was still at its peak. I know that many of us became pretty understanding when COVID was raging, but I'm pretty sure that our being tolerant of it back then didn't mean that we would be okay with it forever. They really do need to step up their game.
