At the last minute I decided to check out the products here that I could use for the pain in my feet. One because it was in walking distance from our hotel, and Two because of the good reviews. With GPS in hand I walked up, and down Main street several times because my GPS kept saying I was at my destination. Umm No I don't think so. I finally had to ask a local how to find the shop. (It is actually One Street East of Main Street. I don't know why GPS didn't get it right the first time...) Social distancing was strictly enforced, 6 ft apart with masks. Lots of different products to peruse. I didn't look around as there was a long line waiting to go into the individual rooms, and I didn't want to loose my place in line. When it was finally my turn I entered the individual room, and told the young man I need some type of balm or lotion for the pain in my feet, and he had the perfect remedy. He suggested a lotion that his girlfriend uses after a grueling yoga session. Since I don't know anything about the products, I trusted his opinion made my purchase, and walked back to the hotel so we could head off to our next excursion. While visiting Durango (and loving the town) we visited Sante. While we tried on two different occasions to purchase a tshirt before returning home to the east coast, we left disappointed and empty handed. I contacted the manager a few weeks later and found that they had replenished their inventory. They couldn't have been nicer and within a week we received the shirt in the mail, much to our surprise. They went WAY beyond with their customer service and made us feel like family. We hope to return to Durango and we will definitely stop back to say hello and hopefully pick up more merchandise. read more

This is my go to when in Colorado. We've been several times. It's great because it's clean, the bud tenders know their stuff and they have some stuff to entertain you while you wait your turn. They have quality product- I've gotten edibles, as well as the traditional green, but I was most impressed with the seeds. We were able to cultivate a great plant from their quality seeds. I will say they may be more expensive, but they also offer text coupons, so there are savings to be had if you want to sign up for them. read more

This is a medicinal and recreational shop in an ally in downtown Durango. The good: great selection of glassware. They have unique pieces and fair prices, and the girl behind the counter told me they are getting more from a local glassblower "very soon". Also, on your birthday, let them know as you get a discount on purchases. The meh: there was no price list displayed, and the Budtender said she could list the prices for us. That's great she has them memorized, but I like to see a list, just to make sure the pricing is accurate. Call me paranoid. The ugly: they have the highest prices in town. Get it? The highest. In all seriousness, their buds and eats are the most expensive. The day I was in, their selection of edibles was really lacking. They were hoping for a shipment to arrive the following day. A cheapie watermelon flavored edible was purchased and the consensus was that it tastes nasty: it was like hard, watermelon flavored caramel. I would recommend this business for glassware. read more

I've been here twice and I won't be back. First off the guy who helped us was a condescending prick. Second, the prices were outrageous compared to other dispensaries. The last time I was there they told me to ask about daily specials and our Bud-tender seemed really peeved that I asked....he basically said they didn't do daily specials. One of the highest priced shops in Durango is also the most confusing. This is a shop for TOURISTS ONLY, but locals know that. Pros: They sell weed Close to Grassburger, which is a really good restaurant. Cons: They take, SCAN and hold your ID until you 'meet' your budtender in another room. (no other shop in town takes your ID away from you, it is stupid that your drivers license is out of your control and out of your sight) Expensive and no price list is available. If you think you are going to pop in and quick check what they have in stock and how much....forget it. You need to wait (and wait and wait sometimes) to be herded into a closet like room where you are faced with a budtender that has a memorized price list. If you are new or uncomfortable buying weed this is a very awkward experience and can feel high pressured. Once again unlike anywhere else in Durango. Last time I was there was the 420 sale and looked like at least a 45 minute wait. Which is ridiculous and due to their terrible system of basically "speed dating" your budtender in a closet. S-L-O-W. Spin the wheel for a 50 cent plastic grinder from China. Bad location, no parking. Front of the house staff is iffy. AVOID this tourist shop, it is a hassle. Let the Texans shop there. read more

Staff in the front is very helpful and discreet, and the staff(my very cool bud tender) in the back is very knowledgeable about their product. He answered all my questions patiently and completely. My wife has a medical card for her legitimate chronic pain and we normally go to other providers, however, we were in a hurry to get my wife medication and stopped by Sante because it was close. That was a huge mistake, the lady manning the medical side was unhelpful, condescending, and made a mockery of her pain. This is the last thing anyone dealing with a chronic medical condition needs, in fact, when my wife inquired about a certain product the counter lady "I don't know," and made her walk over to the recreational side for information and then commented "you walk funny" as she staggered up and over to the other side. A walk that would have been very easy for the lady in question. My wife came out of Sante crying. My wife and I have been in town for over 22 years we will make sure everyone knows what a unprofessional business they are running. Shame on you Sante. read more

Went in this morning , the clerk/bud tender had no knowledge and was rude to boot. Benn on the rec side too and found the people were rude and pushy plus they take your id and then put you on a track system, canned sales spiel while they hold your id hostage , and the herb is kind of hit and miss and the pricing schemes are kind of all over the place. This is meant to confuse the customer and increase the profit stream . It's a nice facade but parking sucks and the prices are way high especially in a town with eight other dispensaries ,leave this place for the tourists who don't know any better! read more

They have free arcade games in the lobby, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and they have the best prices in town for concentrates (and most things). Went in for edibles to the retail side of the store - the salesperson heavily promoted a pill product, telling us they were tablets that could be broken in two to lower the dose, amongst other things. He was very sales-y in that used car kind of a way. Anyway, we bought two varieties of these "tablets" only to open and find out they are capsules. Annoying. From out of state so return isn't an option. I should have read the packaging but he was acting so knowledgeable that I didn't think I needed to verify what he was telling me. I'd make sure you read the packaging to verify that you're getting what you think you're getting. read more

Don't waste your time. Go to Durango Organics. $20 premium for out of state - not at Durango Organics. Went twice. Each time waited 15+ minutes. Never waited more than 5 at Durango Organics. They also allowed someone to cut in front of me while waiting. First time I went they said nothing about a child safety bag. The 2nd time I went they charged me and said I had to have one because it's state law. So, I guess you can't fault them there, but they've never required this of me at Durango Organics.
