Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I come to this location FREQUENTLY (especially these past several months as I'm pregnant and have a lot of refills.) The store is clean and have never encountered an unpleasant employee. Sometimes there's a line at the pharmacy and sometimes there isn't. Every time I come to this Walgreens, they say my prescription will be ready in one to two hours, then I come back after 4 hours and it's still not ready... so they prepare it while I wait. And piss off the 30 people behind me that probably have the same situation. Worst Walgreens ever... not to mention it looks like a communist Russia on the shelves. Literally the worst Walgreens Pharmacy EVER. Slow. Rude. Can never call them. It's always the same and it's so so bad.

Pharmacy sucks. They take their time to do anything. I asked them from the beginning if they had what my prescription called for. Yes they did. I even had my doctor call my insurance to see if they would approve the specific prescription. I waited an hour and nothing. So I asked what the hold up was. I got nothing but a sorry. & my insurance didn't approve the specific item. That's fine. I can't argue with that. But there's no reason in which it should have taken an hour for them to tell me that. Not to mention. I had to stand back in line for them to even let me know. If it wasn't for me checking on the status. I would still be like waiting. But since they had an answer. There's no excuse why I should have been still waiting!!! This isn't the first time in which I had to wait a long time for prescription. So I simply won't be back. Each time I come it's different faces. So obviously they can't keep their pharmacy staffed appropriately nor can they cater to their customers fast service needs! read more

I've been going to this Walgreens (Store #07581, E. 29th Dr) for over 15 years. I've come across a few good employees over the years, but pharmacist Anthony is by far the best I've ever met there. He has solved several insurance problems for me - ones that neither I, nor my Dr's staff could fix and has been a God-send. Anthony has been great both before and during this Corona virus pandemic. He works tirelessly, is very professional - yet personable - is dedicated to being accurate, fast and puts great effort into making every customer happy even when the pharmacy is very busy. He seems to wear "many hats" behind the counter as I've seen him working all by himself at times. Quality people like Anthony will always keep me coming back to the store. He's a "keeper"! read more

I come here very often since we can walk to the location and have a new born baby. Each time I wait in a line which I can understand but this week me and my husband attempted 4 times to have Walgreens bill the new insurance company without success. They gave us a 7 day window to "just come back with the Rx numbers and we can update in minutes" which they have failed to do each time. Unfortunately while waiting I'm never the only person who gets the run around. I see more people get upset than properly serviced. Not worth it, no matter how close we are we won't be going back. read more

I agree with everyone that this is the slowest pharmacy. I once was in the drive through line and the man who finally got my prescription actually stopped in front of the window and spent some time looking at and messing with his watch before giving me credit card back - he was not waiting for the receipt, mind you, I saw him staple it to the prescription already. There were at least 7 cars behind me, but that didn't seem to put a pep in his step at all. The management here clearly is horrible or else these employees would be a lot more effective. Do not get your pictures printed here! Their printing equipment makes people's skin look splotchy and some of the pictures turned out with lines through them. When I asked why the pictures looked the way they did, the rude staff member (Chuck) told me that it was my fault and that the pictures must have looked like that originally. I got them printed elsewhere and they looked perfect. See ya never Walgreens! read more

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. It doesn't really matter what day - or time of day - you try and come here. There are never enough people working. The last time I visited this pharmacy they said it would be an hour to fill my order. I went back to get it the next day and it was not ready - AND I waited in line for 25 minutes to hear that answer because they are SLOW! The people working there do not seem happy at all evidenced in their snippy attitudes toward one another over the intercom system. My advice is save yourself some time and take your prescriptions to a different place. read more

I had a bad experience in photo services. I ask for passport pictures and the man who was attending had a very bad attitude. He was mad when I ask for it, he hits his leg and he said no with his head. After that he took the photography background and pull that very mad. read more

This place is always busy. You can barely get into their parking lot to find a space. It does need some cleaning and organizing, and always appears to be understaffed, but it does the job for what I need when I'm around. read more

The pharmacy customer service and assistance you get from this location is beyond horrible. I have never experienced anything like it. If you go through the drive through your wait time will easily be 15 to 25 minutes minimum. If you go in the store, probably about the same. The thing is that you don't see that they are busy helping anyone else most of the time. They are just filling bottles. Sometimes they will be on the phone but this is every time. I just called them to see if I could get all of my prescriptions transferred there because it is the closest to me and I sat on the hold for 35 minutes before I hung up. Why hasn't corporate done anything about this store. The manager must be MIA. I just called King Soopers to have all of my prescriptions transferred them instead. I was on hold for 2 minutes and it was taken care of instantly. read more

WORST RX department in Denver If you have to call plan on 1/2 hour phone wait, it's quicker to drive there but then you wait in the drive thru line for 20 minutes. RUDE staff, never have RX in stock 3-4 day wait, when they do get it it's wrong. HORRIBLE service. Go a half block to kings slightly better but they are not great either. read more

I had an issue with a staff member named Brittany reversing my valid prescriptions for no apparent reason, and being rude and lying to me.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. You'll never wait less than 20-30 minutes to pick up a prescription, the staff is rude and unhelpful, and they don't care at all about the customers. They are woefully understaffed and just shrug and roll their eyes when asked if someone else can help at the register. After a year of getting a monthly prescription filled here finally went elsewhere. Should have done it months ago. The rest of the store is fine. Just avoid the pharmacy unless you like unreasonable wait times and ambivalent to downright nasty service. read more

Do not go here if you use GoodRx and need a controlled substance. My child was recently diagnosed with ADHD. I have a high deductible insurance plan, which I would have had to pay around $200 out of pocket for. I found GoodRx which stated that using that at Walgreens, it would only cost $96. Since the pharmacy is steps away from the pediatrician, I thought this would have been perfect. It was only until I was checking out which I was told that this particular walgreens does not accept GoodRx for controlled substances, and it was solely up to the pharmacist to decide this. Not knowing what else to do, since my child needed the meds, I haplessly paid the $200. It was only until a few days later that it was only this particular Walgreens that doesn't accept GoodRx. No clue why. But I will avoid this Walgreens altogether for the rest of my families meds. We have to drive a few more miles, but I don't need to feed this greed. read more

The pharmacy is horrible. I dropped off two prescriptions and was told that they were both in stock, and that they would be ready in 2 hours. It's been 3 DAYS, and they still do not have them ready. I went to the Walgreens on Quebec and 29th for my passport photos. This was a renewal and I have had my passport renewed 4 other times in my life. I read all the latest rules online and was prepared for the simple picture. I knew I would have to remove my glasses and did so before I was asked. The girl taking the photo said that I would have to remove my earrings; even though that wasn't on the passport website, I complied. Then she said I had to put my hair behind my ears; I told her that I don't wear my hair that way and she said that was the requirement. Then she said I couldn't smile at all; I knew they didn't want a cheesy smile but I thought a pleasant face would be fine; again, this wasn't my first passport photo. Even when I did smile slightly, she delayed my photo until I stopped smiling. Needlesstosay, the photo was awful; when I got home, my husband said it didn't even look like me. At work the following day, I was talking about the experience and no one else had to remove earrings and put their hair back and frown. I went back to the Walgreens to see if I could get the photo retaken because I was going to have to live with it for the next 10 years. The manager was awful, completely dismissive and told me that wasn't possible unless they had a rejection letter in writing from the passport office. I paid $32.27 for a picture that I will not use. After my encounter with this store, I will never return for anything. I went to the local UPS store where there were no made up rules, got my photo taken instantly and paid $13.98. This is a no brainer. I noticed that everyone else on Yelp gave this store the lowest possible mark. No surprise. I don't know how they stay in business. read more

This location lets us down time and time again. Horrible customer service here. It is challenging to accomplish very simple things at this store. For example, we have tried to print pictures there for our son's school projects, and they can never actually fill the order. These are very simple orders, such as printing 1-3 pictures in typical 4x6 size. Nothing special about them. One time the photo machine was broken and they never bothered to tell us. Another time, we went to pick up the pictures at the time given to us online and the worker had simply turned off the machines and was ready to go home for the night, even though it was well before closing time. The workers could not care less about helping the customers at this store. If you can avoid this store, please do! read more

After buying two non-working thermometers, I bought another at a Walgreen's not by my house. I was irritated not only that I had wasted so much time buying 3 thermometers that did not work, but also for the manager to treat me like I was trying to rip them off somehow. She initially told me that I had to go back to the other Walgreen's to return the thermometer because the same product was a different price. What?! I told her that I had already wasted so much time buying and returning their thermometers that I was not going to drive 20 minutes out of my way. She gave me so much attitude! I bought the thermometer yesterday! I can see if I bought it two months ago. After 3 tries I would expect an appology, not rude behavior. After a simple two second transaction the return was done. I said thank you and she said "YOUR WELCOME" very rudely. This was by the way the manager. I will not be going back. read more
