I attended this location after scheduling an online appointment to get the COVID Vaccine, in addition to the HPV and Meningitis vaccines for my son. I went to front of the line to speak with an employee working in the pharmacy. I arrived fifteen minutes prior, as instructed on the Walgreen's website, but was instructed by a male pharmacist to get in line. I got in line and ended up having to wait an additional 14 minutes, but the line went fairly quick. After getting to the counter I had to complete paperwork for my son to receive the COVID Vaccine. I asked about the HPV and Meningitis Vaccines because they were also scheduled in my appointment, but the pharmacist told me to reschedule an appointment for earlier in the day (early morning time). The pharmacist and his staff were very nice. Customer service goes a long way with me. read more

Asked for a plusOne Menopause Massager but instead I've received a Hello Cake Stroker and there was a whole argument about what qualifies as an "innie" or an "outie" and now I have a yeast infection. read more

The Walgreens in Clinton, Maryland is the worst ever and I will be having my medication moved elsewhere ASAP!! Each time I call...they have me on hold for more than 30 minutes with a message constantly informing me that I have 3 calls ahead of me! Why would you allow one customer to tie up the phone line for more than 30 minutes, which means no one else can get through. After waiting 30 minutes on hold....I hung up and called back and it was the same thing. The staff do not leave for lunch until 1:30pm so if I am calling at 12 noon...why is no one answering the phone and keeping me on hold. This makes no sense at all! This Walgreens needs to shut down just like all the others read more

If you have to use this pharmacy DO NOT USE THE DRIVE THROUGH!!! I gave them my card and few days later im getting charges that I did not make. Someone back there stole my card info!! If you gotta use the drive through use cash only smh read more

6:10am when they are supposed to open at 6am. The staff continue to run in & out with food bags. It's rude because they have customers standing outside waiting to get inside. Nobody has stopped once to say we apologize for opening late or explaining what's going on. It's unfortunate because the customers make this business be able to remain open. ALOT of Walgreens have closed in this area I'm assuming it's because customers are tired situations like this. read more

Mental note : NEVER DO A CURBSIDE ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN 2 people working in the entire store so there was no one to do my curbside pickup even though I came inside knowing they were short staffed. What's disappointing is everything is locked up so you can't browse and shop. This is disgusting people are stealing so much this is the norm. read more

This is the worst Walgreens in southern PG County! The pharmacy especially!!!! Pharmacist has not been on duty more times than one can count! The drive-thru is selective when it does and does not open! read more

Walgreens - Not on Duty - Drugstores Near Me - Clinton, Maryland

This place is very, very slow! They don't fill orders when they receive them! I'm calling now and I've been on the phone for an hour! No one is picking up at the pharmacy! Please don't send a prescription here if you really need it in a timely matter. This is the worse pharmacy I ever encountered. read more

If you need a prescription right away, go somewhere else. They're always behind with no urgency at all! My doctor called in a prescription at 11am. At 9pm I was told It would be ready at 11am the following day. I explained that I needed the prescription and had been waiting for hours. The pharmacist replied, "yeah...the only thing is that we're running behind". No urgency, no compassion, no concern! If you decide to use this pharmacy, make sure you have very low expectations! read more

This location of Walgreens is hell on earth. The pharmacists are pretty nice -- but only when you can actually talk to them. Otherwise be prepared to stay on hold forever or, God forbid, you actually come to the pharmacy in person and end up waiting in line forever. It will happen. The retail, non-pharmacy part of this Walgreens is nothing to write home about. Some young folks work here, and they are friendly and kind. I admire them for balancing their work and their schooling. But other grown folks aren't acting so grown. It's a nightmare. If I'm uncomfortable getting my prescriptions filled here, then why would I want to do my regular shopping here?! Steer clear and run, don't walk, don't look back, for the hills. read more

On Christmas Day, I called the pharmacy to check on prescriptions after my spouse left urgent care. After being placed on hold for about 30 minutes and hung up on several times, I decided to drive to the store, remaining on hold the entire drive. When I arrived 20 minutes later, the phone was still ringing--no one had answered it. I walked into the pharmacy as they were already starting to close before the posted time. The pharmacy closed at 5 PM, but it was 4:59 PM, and they had already closed all their doors, ready to leave. I explained my frustration to the pharmacy techs. One of the techs, Azrya, was completely rude and displayed no professionalism. I took a picture of her name tag with the intention to report the poor customer service. She walked up to me, tried to grab my phone, and pushed me. I then requested to speak with the store manager, who was not there at the time, but I spoke with the shift lead. I ended up calling the police to report the assault. The shift lead was on the receiving end of my frustration, disappointment, and disgust, which unfortunately... read more

The pharmacy is very slow. Especially the drive thru, you will wait for a minimum of 30 minutes

Sad to know that people with the responsibility to serve a community with medicine and otherwise life sustaining products handle their business with a lack of urgency and poor professional resolve. In my case, a prescription meant to provide my 9 month old infant with congenital lung disease was CANCELED in an effort of presumed pettiness. I'm saddened to know that going above and beyond is no longer synonymous with not only the Walgreens name but the industry of pharmacology. I'm ashamed of the service individuals involved (I have some names that I will not share) because they decided to ignore their training and couth. read more

Worst walgreens ever!!! Slower than molasses. You'll be lucky to pick up your prescriptions in less than an hour and without error.

I called to refill a prescription, and the phone tree directed me to a pharmacist. However, I had to wait on the phone for 50 minutes before I got to speak to a pharmacist. Walgreens needs to hire more pharmacists to assist customers. read more

I hate the fact that Rite Aid closed. Walgreens is horrible been on hold for 30 mins. They keep picking it up and placing it on hold. Horrible customer service. I swear all businesses need to take a customer service lesson from Chik-Fil-A. Let this happen at another location it would be a problem. read more

Worst ever, they never have your prescriptions ready, when they call and say that they are ready for pickup. You call and they have you on eternal hold, I hear them pick up the line and place back on hold, to that horrible music. This place is a mess!! You all need to do better, with the volume of people you serve, get more staff. Elderly people standing in those long lines and once you get to the counter, those girls at pharmacy aren't the friendliest . read more

I'm back (not by choice) and the line is still here, only longer. There are 12 people in the pharmacy line and only one person working. :(

The worse pharmacy ever, always the longest line in drive thru and inside, closing at random times, closing for lunch and the slowest customer service ever. And tonight the pharmacist was extremely rude. We have to come back because my parents get service here and I regularly regret when we have to come back. It has never been a smooth transition or nice service. Something needs to be done to this location. read more

Wow! This Pharmacy has to be at the top of the slowest pharmacies in Maryland. I occasionally get a prescription filled at the Walgreens in Clinton Maryland but have on several occasions picked up prescriptions for others since calendar 2010. Walgreens - the front of a store at night - Drugstores Near Me - Clinton, Maryland

This location has the worst service, personally I think the store is intentionally understaffed because it's in a predominantly African American community. I came earlier and was in line in the drive thru, left my mom in the car and went inside after waiting 20 minutes. To my surprise there was a pharmacist and 1 cashier with 13 people in line. This isn't the 1st time I've experienced this at this location. BTW my mother called to complained while we're in line & still nothing! read more

manager needs to learn what customer service really consist of which is having knowledge of using your own discretion every once in a while as long as no safety issues is evolved. I love the pharmacy here! They can get a little backed up but they manage everything with a smile

I'm a frequent customer of this particular Walgreens location. Services (mainly pharmacy) started off GREAT. My prescriptions were filled in a timely manner and the customer service was splendid. Unfortunately, lately the pharmacy service has gone down tremendously! I'm not sure if it's the influx of customers since they've taken on RiteAid....but its HORRIBLE. Wait times for prescriptions, lines and hold times are beyond POOR!! I've waited approximately 30min to speak with a rep in reference to my account....just to be hung up on (I could hear the rep answer, then hang up). Very disappointed!!!! Will be considering transferring to another WG location. read more

After repeatedly miscounting a controlled substance buy a vast amount I will never go back to this location for my medication. I have never had this issue with any other pharmacies. If I could give this Walgreens a zero star I would. We have been waiting in line for the pharmacy for over an hour. When we tried to go into the store there was a sign that said drive thru is open only. They are spending at least 15-20 min on one car! I never leave reviews but do not go to this Walgreens. read more

I had paid for a controlled prescription on 3/7/22 in the early evening. The total pill count prescribed by the doctor is (28) pills. There were (3) pills missing out of the prescription bottle. In addition, the pharmacist was contacted to resolve the discrepancy. He mentioned that the pills are counted by (5). His response is that he will check the store camera. The matter is still ongoing without the pharmacist returning the call for closure. This Walgreens in Clinton is mismanaged, understaffed, awful customer service and marginal wait times. read more

Cashier with short locks couldn't answer not one question I had, and I had to ask him to find someone to help me! Was looking for a particular natural skin care brand and they didn't have it in stock but had its price and label on display. "Oh nah, we don't curry dat" I was told. Fine. I'm not one to complain much so I strolled to the cashier again with something else they had I wanted ( although the one I wanted they also didn't have that in stock), paid for my item and tried to sign up for their rewards program. I tried. But couldn't because the person who used to have my phone number hasn't changed it on file. In addition to that, they were out of the actual cards. So, I went here to get nothing I wanted and something that was good enough. read more

This is specifically for the Pharmacy. The customer service when you actually get the service is always good. However, it doesn't matter when you come - the lines are always long and slow moving. If my life depended on getting my medication from this Walgreens, honestly I would be dead. They are incompetent and RUDE. Worst experience ever. Systems Down & Unprofessional Staff with a cavalier attitude. This pharmacy staff had the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered. I daughter's seziure medication was transferred from Takoma Park to Clinton 9.2.15. Now I understand that my situation is a different from most so I try to make proper arrangements, 16 yrs no pass problems. My daughter is 16, she lives at home an she's on life support, it's important that we keep her at meds at a therapeutic level. 1. Rx transferred from Takoma to Clinton 9.2.15 2pm. I stressed how important this was, I'm was advised it would me ready by 1:30pm on 9.3.15. 2. Just leaving work 9.3.15 6pm hmm I called to verify the rx is ready. The normal phone recording was never received, just checking. 3. The very young female answered Walgreens she did not state her name nor did she want mine, I offered she declined stating the system is down. There's nothing we can, again I asked if she could manually check rx. No the system is down you will have to call another pharmacy. I tried to explain that this medication has to be order it's not stocked or self item. Again, I understand ma'am but the system is down. 4. I called the Forestville, Md store they do not have it. They pharmacist checked the system an could see that Clinton had the medication. So she suggested you might try going to the Clinton store to see if they can do a partial fill or a 2 or 5 day supply. 5. 6:30pm I arrived at the pharmacy they have the medication, they held two bottles up. I thought thank heaven I don't have to go to the ICU tonight. The lady with the red locks looks at me an states, the system is down you can not have this medication. It's now 6:45 I should be home by 7pm to releave the nurse. I asked for the pharmacist whom acted as if she really didn't care to deal with the situation. I can hear them making comments about how she's new an, they only have four hours left. She never really addresses me she put the concern off on the other person lady with the red locks. 7:15pm. I'm still at the pharmacy an this is now costing me $35.00 per hour to stand her an listen to say what they can't do an what I either should or need to do. Q. I stated why can't you call the other pharmacy in the area. A. I don't have there numbers!!! Wow I look up the number on my phone an gave it to them. They all stated the medication has to be ordered. I heard one lady state that mom said Takoma Park did not have it. I corrected her because that's not what I said. I'm am almost nuclear at this point. 6. 7:30 Wow they found another Walgreen's pharmacy in Hyattsville, Md that can fill the medicine for tonight. Q. I asked what time do they close? The next nurse does not arrive until 11pm I can pick it up then. A. Lady with the red locks replied 9pm. Now I have to call some one to try an get they by 9pm. 7. Before I can get out of the parking lot, Walgreens of Hyattsville called " Clinton transferred your rx to our location an we do not accept your insurance". Ok I have two insurance will you try the other? No ma'am we do not accept either. But I'll see what I can do, I'll call you back. 7:50pm I'm just getting home an I feel helpless. I have no medication regular to stop my daughter's seizure, options but to call 911an give back up diazepam. Walgreens you failed today. Once this is resolved I will never go to this store again. The staff in this pharmacy at Clinton, Md is by far the worst have ever experience... How much harmed would it have caused them to give a 1 or 2 day supply. You had the order from the doctor, the medication was previously processed by Walgreens an you even know that I had a zero co-payment. Walgreens fix this!!! No one should ever have this experience because of your network failure for 8+ hours. read more

If zero stars was an option, that is how I would rate this Walgreens pharmacy. If you ever get sick and need your prescription timely, avoid this place. The lines are outrageously long, both inside and out. The wait times are even longer. On Friday morning, my doctor sent my prescription there electronically and since my insurance changed since the last time I was their I received a txt message saying I needed to call. It is now Saturday and I have still not been able to reach anyone. I have not started my medication. I wish it was a weekday because I would call my doctor and ask them to send my prescription some where else. Disgusting and sick! read more

OK so this was a shopping trip from HELL I never want to visit this specific WalGreens ever again!!!! This is the incident that got my blood boiling there was an "African" American woman as the management this specific night I was just a bystander to the what happened this white male and his son asked to use the restroom and the child looked as if he was going to burst at any moment she looked at the white male and his son and with the rudest facial reaction said "your need to get the code first" OKAY. so isn't that what that white man was trying to do??? it wasn't as if you were going to shot it out to him in the middle of the store!!! So carry your fat ass to the restroom with your customer and open the damn restroom up for that poor child. So a few aisle over there she was again but this time she was having a convo with an "African" American male and her whole attitude changed oh she was super sweet and kind to this customer I was dumbfounded I left my full cart and walked out of the store I was hoping to see the father and son to advise them that they didn't have to be treated in that manor instead I called up the Corporate office to let them know what I witnessed this was the second encounter of prejudice I have encountered in my few months of being in MD! WHAT THE HELL happened to friendly customer service and retail companies wanting your business I just refuse to shop at places like this where the color of my skin make a difference as to whether I'm going to have a friendly person helping me out in any establishment read more
