The young lady didn't even look up to make eye contact. I walked over to the counter to ask another associate a question--she was much sweeter and more approachable. She turned to the first young lady to confirm if the two products I picked out could be used together. The response I got was a dismissive, "Yes, I guess," which felt rude and uncertain. I had to ask if she really knew, because it felt like she either didn't or just didn't want to be bothered. When I mentioned calling my cousin to double-check, the same young lady finally said, "Hold on, I wouldn't use that particular powder with the other product." That's the kind of guidance I needed from the beginning--especially because they carry items I haven't seen in other beauty supply stores. The customer service was poor and the prices were too high for the lack of support. I won't be returning.

I order through DoorDash when I get home and not only did they have more of what I needed but the bigger size too. She had the time to call another store half an hour away and tell me to go get it there instead of doing her job and going to actually check if they had more. Straight up lazy.

I went there this morning to purchase an item and when I got home, I realized I bought the wrong thing. I went back to exchange it, and as I was walking in, three young black men were also approaching. One stepped back and opened the door for me and then they walked in. As I'm at the counter making my exchange, the owner came out of nowhere (I hadn't seen him the first time I went) and rudely told the boys they needed to leave. I was the only other customer in the store. The owner told the young men that they had to leave because the sign on the door says, "2 students at a time". He was nasty about it. The "sign" on the door is literally a loose leaf piece of paper with some writing with a marker. He never told the young men that there were only 2 allowed in at a time. He simply told them to get out. This is where I jump in to defend the young men. It is Saturday. There was no one else in the store. They weren't bothering anybody. They genuinely looked confused. After a little back and forth between me and the owner, I told the cashier to refund me my money because if they weren't allowed to shop there, I wouldn't either. I told the young men to put back the one item they had and that we were all leaving and we did. The owner ran off to the back room like a coward. I left but I was still stewing, so I went back to confront him and recorded this time. LET'S TAKE A STANCE AND NOT SHOP THERE!!! You'll hear in the attached video that he says it doesn't matter to him. Let's prove him wrong.

I went to front of the line to speak with an employee working in the pharmacy. I arrived fifteen minutes prior, as instructed on the Walgreen's website, but was instructed by a male pharmacist to get in line. I got in line and ended up having to wait an additional 14 minutes, but the line went fairly quick. After getting to the counter I had to complete paperwork for my son to receive the COVID Vaccine. I asked about the HPV and Meningitis Vaccines because they were also scheduled in my appointment, but the pharmacist told me to reschedule an appointment for earlier in the day (early morning time). The pharmacist and his staff were very nice. Customer service goes a long way with me.

This place was fine. Came here because the braid hair we ordered from Amazon didn't arrive on time…read moreand needed something in a pinch. The selection of braiding hair here is pretty limited. In fact, the hair I ended up buying for $2.99 a bag was THE EXACT SAME as what I was waiting on from Amazon. I paid $18 for an eight-pack on Amazon. Def some major markup... What I liked about this place was the fact that I was not followed or made to feel uncomfortable by racist non-Black owners. The lady who owns the store was actually very nice. I believe the store is rebranding, too. They seem to have some sort of wig specialization, too.

Many women know that when you lose your hair, it is a very traumatic experience. And when you're not used to wearing wigs, it can be quite daunting too. But these ladies helped me--they consulted me, asked questions, and ensured I was happy with the final reveal. And they are reasonable as well. This makes customers want to come back when you're treated well AND find get a nice quality product in the end. Thanks ladies.
